It just doesn't make sense to ship them just because they're the only music ponies, which is, you have to admit, the main reason why they got shipped in the first place.

I understand the whole opposites attract thing, but it doesn't work always. Eg. one of the rare opposite personalities ship which I could see work out is Flutterdash, because they're quite complementary characters. Rarijack, or Twidash on the other hand... :\

Yeah, but there are worse reasons some ponies are shipped, like "they look cute together" or "just because" so just ignore it or I guess make your own version that you like.  Or just friendship them.

No that's Twilight and Vinyl.  Two eye colors, hair colors and both cutie marks.  Also yeah, Lyra and Bon Bon were just sitting next to each other.  But fans make their own characters.
