A lot of people seem to hate the show just because "Ponies". They see that and that's it, they immediately don't like it.

 

 Not saying there aren't people who have legitimate reasons. Some people did give it a fair shot and didn't enjoy it. But a lot of people I've seen won't even give it a chance just because "Ponies".
