Sterling continued to look around, noticing first that Corona waved at him. Sterling waved back with a warm smile before continuing his search for the sign up sheet designated for the orchestra club. In his search, he also noticed two familiar looking ponies who looked like they wanted to sign up for the orchestra club too. He nudged his way around the halls to them, giving Snowdream a wave.

 

"Hey Snowdream! Are you signing up for orchestra club? If so, have you found the sign-up sheet yet? I'm trying to sign up as a pianist/violinist." Asked Sterling with a polite grin. Snowdream was nice enough, he thought. After all, she did help comfort Corona when she ran out of class like that the other day.

Corona trotted outside after putting her name on the sign up sheet, laying her saddlebag next to a tree in the Wingball court. Lightening Dust looked around at the motley crew before her and laughed. "You maggots think you're fit to be part of the Feather Falcons? Ha I doubt that so let's get into the air and show me what kind of skills you've got maggots!" Corona took to the sky with the rest of the group, watching as Lightening called one pony after another to show off their moves that they had. When Corona was called next she instantly took off dodging clouds and doing somersaults and other various moves. Corona then went into a steep dive causing the rest of the group as well as Lightening to gasp, Corona pulled up just inches from the ground looping and then spiraling back up into the sky. Looking back she slack jawed, Corona flew back into place giggling.

Regal was busy writing his name down when some pony crashed into him.
"Hey careful" he said, then he saw it was.
"Oh, Hey Snowdream" he said. 
"Don't worry about it, I'm ok." he was unsure what to say next. just as he was about to ask if she wanted to hang out afteschool, but Sterling had came.
"Hello" he said to Sterling.

Bass Cannon had woke up this morning only to find she was a couple minutes away from being late. She collected her things, including her laptop, packed them into her saddlebags, and flew to school. She landed on the ground so hard, it cracked. "Woops..." She then trotted inside and started looking for the EDM sign-up table, hoping there was one. Thankfully, she did see one and signed up. She looked around at the other tables and was intrigued by the 'Feather Falcons', so she signed up for that as well.

Sterling heard a happy greeting from Regal, the stallion who was with Snowdream. He noticed him calling out first, so he decided to ask him about orchestra sign-up as well,

 

"Hey Regal. Are you signing up for orchestra group as well? I'm hoping to be a pianist/violinist in the group. I've played both instruments for almost all my life, but it'll be the first time I ever play in an orchestra like this one!"

@@Umbreon, Forest walked fro,m club to club. When he saw the sign up for the Feather Falcons, he smiled and signed up for that club.  He saw other ponies doing tricks and showing off.
"That isn't talent. This is" He spread his longer then normal wings and flew into the clouds. He interrupted an other pony and blew passed him just as the other pony was flying around a cloud.. his talent was flying and making such quick and fast turns. he flew up as high as he could and dropped, but he did more then just that he began to spin as he fell head first. just upon impact he opened his wings and withe one great flap of his wings he released a gale of wind that slowed down his speed, he landed on the ground smiling. his wings ached from the strain he just placed on them.

Snowdream blushed awkwardly at the scilence between her and Regal but Sterling came to the rescue.

 

"Hi," Snowdream said with a cheerful smile. "Um... I have about as much musical talent as a..." She paused, unsure of what to give as an example. "As a... Oh forget it, lets just say my talents don't lie in music. I am an alright singer, but that is as far as my musical abilities go." She said with a sheepish grin.

 

"I am not sure whether to join another club besides drama or not..." She said thoughtfully.

Sterling was pleased that he just met a fellow pianist, even if his ego felt like bragging about the piano competitions he won throughout his whole life. Sterling kept those feelings to himself as he replied with his usual smile,

 

"Well a flute and a harp you say? That sounds great! They're beautiful instruments to say the least!" After conveying his delight at finding somepony with similar interests as him, he noticed Snowdream's reply to him. He replied to her with slight nerves. Hopefully she wouldn't reply too negatively to what he was about to say,

 

"Well I think there's a choir group somewhere around here. Have you tried out that group yet? And good luck with drama! You look like a good actress!"

Corona watched as Regal did his move in the air doing almost the same move as her. Corona grit her teeth at the site as it left Lightening Dust and the rest of the group just as slack jawed as she had just done. There were other very talented ponies trying out for the team and Corona wanted to make sure she got a spot. Corona trotted up to Regal and extended her hoof for a hoof bump. "Not bad Regal, but just so you know I don't plan to be out shined in this tryout. But if we both make it into the team I think we'll make it an unbeatable team."

"An unbeatable team you say?" his eyebrow shot up.

"I could use some help. I did strain my wings on that descent" he flexed his wings. "Fine, but don't hold me back or I'll leave you in the dust" Forest still had another trick to show off.
"If your ready I'll tell you my next trick. I'm going high into the air, once in the air I'm going to make a large arc and fall over backwards, but as we fall I'll spread my wings open and start making large winding circles that will grow smaller and smaller the closer we get to the ground. Once we get close enough to the ground we will close our wings and make an angle plunge to the ground and we will open our wings again, so that we can make a close to the ground hover. You got all that?" Forest didn't wait long he took off to the skies once more and flew high again.

Sterling nodded at Snowy Storm. He liked the piano more, but he still had an appreciation for the flute and harp for what they were. They still were beautiful instruments that sang very well as a soloist every now and then. Sterling replied with a nod,

 

"Well the flute and beautiful music were always meant to be together, especially since the flute has a wonderful singing tone to it."-Sterling then noticed that sign-ups were finally open. Sterling made his way through the crowds before finally finding the sign-up sheet. It said "Hoofstomp High Orchestra sign-ups here!" Sterling gave a wide smile before signing up for the club! He then waded around the crowds in search of the biology club...

Pink Heart was also at school, and she was excited to sign up for some clubs herself. She decided to try out the drama club since she felt her talents resonated well with acting. She was also searching for Sterling... she wanted to warn him about Diamond Glitter... oh if only she could find him in time! She eventually found a cyan coloured pony with a blue mane. Maybe she's seen him! At least it was something she could do to start befriending ponies after possibly losing Diamond as a friend. She approaced Snowdream and asked with caution,

 

"Ummm.... Hi! I'm looking for a crimson coloured pony with a black coloured mane. Have you seen him?"

Corona looked at Forest Wind and gave a cheeky grin back and nodded "Yeah I got it." Corona smiled as she took to the air with Forest Wind. She followed his instructions to the letter, both of them hovering just off the ground, looking over at coach Dust she quickly wiped away a shocked face before giving a grin. "All right looks like we've got out two lead arial aces. The rest of you get back into the sky and show me what you've got to prove to me you've got what it takes to be on this team." Lightening Dust growled. There were more slots to fill on the team before they could start getting ready for practice in a few weeks.

"Nice. I'm an Lead Ace!" with a smirk. He had held pride in his talent, but the mare behind also managed to keep up with him. Forest didn't expect her to pull off the final descent like him. He thought she would get scared when they got so close to hitting the ground that she would chicken out and pull up.
"I guess I was wrong about you" he said rolling his eyes. "If you want you can hang out with me later" his group of friends gathered around telling him how impressive he was. He smiled, but some of his friend went over to Corona.
"That was cool how daring you were to be so close to the ground like that" said one of his friends to Corona.
"I did the same thing and I was leading" Forest said to his friend.
"Yeah, we seen you do that before, she is the first mare to keep up with your suicidal drive." Forest grunted and took off to find a seat watch other pegasus try to out do what he and Corona just did.

Sterling continued to wander around the halls for the biology club. He could see clubs of all kinds around him, from the drama club to the sports club to the chess club. Eventually, he found the biology club. He could see microscopes set up in front of him along with a small group of students who looked very intelligent. He trotted over to the club, eagerly signed his name onto the club, and walked away happily, knowing that he was going to be among the school's smartest...

Bass Cannon looked at Lightning Dust, then to the clouds. She looked around, seeing nopony paying attention to her, so she set down her things. She looked at Lightning Dust once more, who nodded at her, and she took off flying straight up. As soon as she got as high as she could, tried to go higher, and she did. She stopped at an altitude where it was hard to breathe, and she dived down. She was half-expecting her version of the sonic rainboom, but wasn't going for that. Just as she was about to hit the ground, she started to fly straight up again, just as fast as she was going down, and then she flew over the other pegasi, and landed on the ground again and cracked it. "I need to stop doing that, one of these times they're gonna make me fix it..." She then went back to her things and was ready to leave.

Corona watched as Forest Wind flew off in a huff and she looked around to the ponies that were his friends. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to out shine him, please excuse me." Corona walked over to her bag and pulled out her hat not knowing that Diamond Glitter had put the grey paint in the hat. Corona plopped the hat on and felt something cold on her head and raised a hoof and pulled it down seeing grey paint on her hoof. Corona teared up instantly and took off into the sky headed back to her house, her need to try to wash the paint out was to great importance. Meanwhile Lightening Dust was watching the rest of the ponies trying out, "Not bad Bass Cannon, looks like we've got ourselves our Sky Warden. The rest of you continue the drills and I'll place those that I feel are good enough in their positions."

Having felt a great deal of satisfaction signing up for both clubs, Sterling decided to trot over to the flight group where Corona was trying out. He looked around at the field, searching for Corona. After scouting the entire field however, Corona was nowhere to be found! Where was she?! Did she already go off?! Sterling began to panic, running around like a maniac of sorts. He then noticed one of the instructors, a cyan coloured pony. He ran up to her and asked with fear in his voice,

 

"Excuse me ma'am! Have you seen Corona anywhere?! She was supposed to be auditioning for a club here!"

Forest watched Bass Cannon flying up and down. it reminded him of a yo-yo. After seeing her crack the ground he began to doubt his own talent for flying. First Corona showing him up and now Bass showing her brute power of flying. 
"No way" He watched the other ponies fly Still he did enjoy watching Bass fly like a yo-yo. He thought about talking to her after the club meeting. That was, until he saw Corona flying past him crying.

"Hey!" He shouted at her. Wondering what caused her to fly off like that until he stepped into something wet. Gray paint covered the bottom of his hoof. He turned to face the other ponies.

"Somepony better pony up for this!" He said holding up his gray stained hoof. His group of friends walked over to him.
"Yeah it was a little funny to see that" Forest gave his friend a growl.
"You see this" he said holding his hoof out. "Gray isn't my color. I have to wash this now" He opened his long wings and took to the sky, he did however look for any ponies that might be holding back a laugh or any.

Sterling saw some of the other flight members gather around a stallion who noticed a piece of grey paint on his hoof. Sterling was wondering why they were inspecting the piece of grey paint. He trotted over to the other stallions with a nervous look. Hoping that he didn't interrupt them, he asked them with a worried look,

 

"Umm hey guys... have... have you seen Corona by any chance? I was hoping to see her audition for this club today."

Bass Cannon was unamused by the turn of events. She looked at the stallion, wanting to know what was going on, and heard him ask a question. She looked around, for any signs of a paint bucket or paint on somepony. She flew up about 20 feet and hovered, looking around. She spotted a pony hiding in a tree with grey paint on her hoofs. She flew over "Why is there grey paint on your hooves? Did you sign up for the art club or were you playing a prank on somepony? And don't lie, my dads' taught me to know if ponies lie." Bass Cannon stared into the ponies' eyes, watching for any sign of lies.

"Corona?" Some of the stallions looked at each other.
"Who that?" turning back to him.
"Oh he means the one that ran away!" One said. "Oh yeah!" another said smiling.
"Sorry, but you just missed her"
"Forest isn't happy either, he got paint on his hoof" 
"Who are you? Her boyfriend?" one of them said mockingly

Sterling couldn't believe what the other stallions were doing. Sterling felt deep down that she was an amazing flyer. Why wasn't she around? What made matters was the fact they were beginning to poke fun by relating him with Corona mockingly. They weren't in such a relationship yet, although Sterling liked to be in one. It made Sterling trot away furiously as he continued to search for Corona.

Diamond Glitter already walked off from the tree site where she planted the grey paint. She was snickering happily as she knew she got away with her act. Corona was a sworn enemy, and she wanted Corona to suffer. By the time the other ponies looked around for her, she already washed her hands clean of grey paint and got away with the ordeal. Now all she had to do was make sure she kept this up, and Corona would be out of sight... forever. At least, that was what she hoped as she chuckled evilly to her first class of the day.

After searching around the area for Corona, Sterling realized the worst. She had left school... to where? He didn't know. His first guess was home... he remembered doing something similar when he was at elementary school. He was mocked all around, which drove him to flee the school that day. His parents kept him out of school for the rest of the day, caring for him. It was that moment when he trotted out of the school to Corona's home. He walked through the park where he met Corona and the path he took to get to Corona's house. 

 

He eventually found the house, characterized by two maple trees at the house's sides. He trotted anxiously to the door and knocked.

 

"Hello?! Is anypony there?!" Sterling called out fearfully.

Bass Cannon looked around, but didn't seem to really care about the hoofprints that led into the school. She just flew into the school and went straight to principal's office. Once there she knocked on the door "Hey, Principal! I got a few things to tell you, and one thing to ask you!"

A light golden yellow mare with an orange mane in pig tails answered the door. "Oh hello there, you must be the young stallion that was spending time with Corona that other day. I'm Star Shine Corona's mother, please come in." Star Shine backed up and extended her hoof and let Sterling inside. "I'm afraid some mean ponies played a prank on her and put grey paint in her hat so that when she put it on it would get in her mane. Corona's currently upstairs trying to was as much out as she can, but I'm not sure how much she'll actually get out. Please have a seat I'll let her know you're here." Star Shine headed up the stairs to the bathroom door, crying could be heard on the other side even over the sound of the water.

Forest walked out of the bathroom after washing most of the paint off his hoof.
"I'll have to get even with who ever did this" He walked until he noticed Bass Cannon knocking on the principal's door.

"Don't bother. You would have better luck talking to the teachers around here" he said leaning against the wall. 
"I liked your yo-yo flying thing and I heard Lighting dust say you make for a sky warden"
