Ivy nodded and smiled. "I will." She said. "Storm Caller won't get within ten miles of Dragonforgr without us knowing." The silver unicorn then began to make the proper preparations.

 

Tempest shrugged and nodded. "If you say so." He said, before punching Rut as hard as he could.

 

Storm Caller smirked as he watched the events unfold through a nearby tower. He had suppressed his aura, and it seemed to have worked. Nopony had seen him. "It doesn't matter howuch they fight to keep Xena sealed. He will be released." He said.

Rut-Light was shocked by the sheer force of the punch as he flew backwards at high speeds, crashing through a glass window and falling for a while before he crashed onto the pavement  and realized; he wasn't dead!  "Haha!  I'm okay, and I only ended up with a scratch.  Appreciated Tempest!"  He walked off and started how he was going to spend the rest of the day.

Tempest shrugged and trotted through the palace. He spent the rest of the day resolving the arguments of citizens and revising taxes. Night eventually fell and the cyan pegesus trotted into his room. He looked into a mirror to notice grey hairs in his mane. "I just need one night of sleep." He thought, as he got into bed and slept next to his wife.

Frost layed in his bed in his suite in the palacewith Canter in the middle of him and Ember. "What happens when you die Tempest?" he thought staring at the ceiling. "Where does Xena go? Do you pass it on to Cynthia or does it just go with you?" he added as he changed the subject to Tempest's father. "Why would he want Tempest if he is only angry with Celestia. Tempest dosent have a quarrel with her so why would he lure Tempest by kidnaping Ivy and Dark there is no......XENA!" he said the last word in a loud whisper and stepped out of bed to walk out on the balcony and metaphorically spoke to Tempests father. "You sick bastard." he said in a sarcastic chuckle

Tempest woke up suddenly from a nightmare and mentally cursed. He already had a hard time falling asleep due to insomnia, but this was pushing it. "I thought that this would go away when I left the guard, but old habits are hard to break I suppose." He muttered as he trotted out of his room. The cyan pegesus then noticed Frost. "Did you find out anything from earlier?"

Frost jumped when he heard Tempest's voice. "Oh! Hey Tempest I didn't see you there." he said letting out a chuckle. "No, I checked the barracks logs and the entrie page for today was ripped out. Sorry." he said as he began to walk beside him. "Congrats on becoming a grand father by the way."

Tempest sighed and smiled slightly. "Thankfully the eggs weren't damaged, otherwise things would've turned out a lot worse." He said. The cyan pegesus then shrugged. "So, what are you doing up so late. I thought I was the only one here with insomnia." Tempest then laughed slightly.

Frost returned the laugh. "No I was just having some.....thoughts about your fathers intentions." he said after a pause not sure of he should have brought up the topic. He kept silent still running and processing the thoughts. "How, when, what would he do with Xena." he thought frantically. Iustus cut his thoughts off. "You do know when you don't sleep I don't sleep right?" he said trying to take Frost's thoughts off of Xena

diamond looked at canter "sorry canter it's to late to go out, let's go to sleep and we can play all day tomorrow okay." she said giving him a hug, lightning looked at Clayton "i'm gonna go home and sleep Clayton we can continue later." he said as he walked home and saw a note on the fridge, it said i'm staying at frost's house to watch canter, lightning smiled and went to bed.

Tempest glanced at Frost and shrugged. "My father isn't exactly the best pony. When I was younger, he basically molded me into his own image. Thankfully, Dark was able to make me see the truth." He said. "I never forgave my father for what he did. If he hurts Dark or any other pony I care about, I won't hold back." His tone was murderous . "Anyway, I guess we should get some sleep. Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Twilight'll be here in the morning."

 

Dark smiled as she woke up next to Orion. Her eggs were directly under her wing, resting on hot embers.

 Fireblaze then went back checking on Rainbow Dash and FIredash too while they went to read there books.

Blade went back and working on the farm then went to bed with Applejack.

Skull and Futtershy fin shies Feeading the animals and then they went to bed too.

Frost smiled and nodded. "Yeah, right....I guess I have to right a report. Yaaay." he said in a sarcastic tone as he waved to Tempest and returned to the balcony and pulled out a quill and some paper. "The events of yesterday ocurred as the following...." he said as he began to write the report.

 

Canter looked at Diamond and smiled. "That's ok we can have a sleep over!" he said as he grabbed some sleeping bags from the hall closet and layed them beside each other on the floor and layed down himself, curling up in the bag. "Sometimes sleeping in a big house is scary, but not with you around." he said smiling at Diamond.

diamond laid down next to canter "lets get to sleep so we can get up really early and play okay." she said as she kissed his forehead, lightning woke up sweating, this happened once before but that was the night they died, he got up and went for a walk around town "maybe a walk will calm me down." he said as he walked out his door.

Tempest shrugged and trotted away. When the morning came, he found himself on a balcony. "You have got to be kidding." He thought to himself. The cyan pegesus then sighed and began to check that everything was ready for the summit.

 

Ivy groaned as she woke up with Cynthia next to her. The filly had had a nightmare in the middle of the night and wanted to be close her parents.

 

Cynthia woke up and got out of bed, before stretching. "I wonder what Diamond, Canter, and Firedash are up to." She thought.

Frost jolted awake when he felt a hoof tap him on the shoulder. He sprang and saw Ember. "Sorry love, you scared me." he said wiping some sweat off his forehead as he put his report in his saddle bags. "How about a nice breakfast in the market? Let's just go get Canter and Diamond first." he said as Ember nodded.

 

Canter rolled over in his sleeping bag and poked Diamond on the muzzle. "Hey Diamond....hey, get up, let's go see my dad and let him know we're alright." he said as he got up and walked to the kitchen to get some water.

Orion woke up and noticed Dark. He smiled and nuzzled her. Do you think we should watch the summit from our cave?" He asked.

 

Clayton sighed as he woke up. "This should be interesting," He thought, as he trotted through the market. He soon sat down and ate at a restaurant.

Dark smiled and nodded. "We might as well." She said, as she relit the embers.

 

Celestia, Luna, and Twilight soon arrived via train and trotted to the palace. A crowd soon formed around them.

 

Storm Caller glared at Celestia from the top of a tower. He had planted aura bombs in very inconspicuous locations, and it would only take a flick of his wrist to detonate them.

Fireblaze, Rainbow Dash and Firedash was there too greeting the Princess.

Blade with Applejack in a wheelchair greeting her too while a Town Doctor was there checking on there baby.

Skull and Futtershy was there too while they waving at the princess.

The princesses smiled and waved, as they passed through the town. They eventually entered the palace.

 

Tempest noticed Celestia and the others, before smiling slightly. "It's been a long time, Tia." He said, using the common nickname for Celestia. "I'm assuming Equestria is doing well?"

diamond woke up and looked at canter "alright canter let's go see your dad at the palace." she said as she got up and yawned, lightning woke up in a forest trying to figure out how he got there from the city, he shook his head and started to walk towards the market "i might as well get some breakfast since i'm out so early." he said as he yawned.

Frost came to Tempest's side and smilied at the princesses. "Good morning Celectia, Twilight, Cadence." he said as he adjusted his overcoat and sneezed. He had caught a small cold from sleeping out on the balcony. "So how can we be of assistance?"

 

Canter smiled as he put on his saddle bags. "Alright I'm ready." he smilied.

Celestia glanced at Frost and smiled. "Oh, nothing much. We were actually here to reverent the alliance between New Aurastone, and Equestria." She said. "All of the terms from the previous arrangements will still be the same." The alicorn then levitated a a scroll out of her saddlebag.

 

Tempest nodded and made a tendril of aura wrap around the piece of paper. "Even so, I would still like to read it." He said, before unraveling the scroll and began to read.

Rut-Light had just woken up about 5 minutes ago and was now walking around and waiting, 'Somethings going to happen, this day seems to perfect to be non-problematic.  Maybe i'm just being paranoid but that kidnapping yesterday had to mean something...but what?'

Frost nodded, smiled, and sneezed again. "Right, the the alliance documents. I had forgotten about with the recent events of yesterday." he said wiping his nose with the handkerchief from his suit pocket. "Well I can assure you that our financial, political, and economic stand points are running smoothly." he said trying to Celestia to forget his comment about the events of the day before. He put his hankerchief back in his suit pocket and grinned.

diamond walked to the door and looked at canter "well then lets go." she said walking out the door with canter, lightning saw ponies making a crowd at the palace and followed them, then he saw celestia, luna and twilight talking to frost and tempest, he walked away and got breakfast "if they're still here i'll say hello later." he said walking into a sandwich shop.
