Truffletop nodded in response to Malik's first comment. "Yeah, I figure being able to detect danger is going to be crucial as we go on." As they headed into the forest, Truffletop kept thinking to herself. What kinds of monsters might we find in here anyway? Hopefully nothing too dangerous... though we haven't seen anything so far. Hearing a call, she turned to Malik. "Awesome, we got the first chest... though the next one is probably going to be deeper. I'll take the lead since I put a lot of points into my treasure hunting, I might spot something. Are there any dangers I should know of?"

*Malik nodded.*

"There are a set of tribal monsters in this forest. Not only do they lurk in the shadows, but they have also left pitfalls and net traps throughout the forest. They like to capture weaker players, then cook them up and eat them."

*Malik warned.*

"So watch where you step. It could be your last."

*Malik nodded.*

"There are a set of tribal monsters in this forest. Not only do they lurk in the shadows, but they have also left pitfalls and net traps throughout the forest. They like to capture weaker players, then cook them up and eat them."

*Malik warned.*

"So watch where you step. It could be your last."

Truffletop nodded in response to Malik's advice.  "Tribal savages eh?  Sounds like my type of monsters.  They shouldn't be too hard to outsmart.  We're just going to have to progress carefully."  Taking the lead, Truffletop headed deeper into the forest.  Ahead, she could see a straightaway of grass.  She walked slowly, noticing something strange.  Within a somewhat short range, she noticed some of the pitfalls.  "Yup, looks like there's definitely traps around here.  We better be careful."

Truffletop nodded in response to Malik's advice. "Tribal savages eh? Sounds like my type of monsters. They shouldn't be too hard to outsmart. We're just going to have to progress carefully." Taking the lead, Truffletop headed deeper into the forest. Ahead, she could see a straightaway of grass. She walked slowly, noticing something strange. Within a somewhat short range, she noticed some of the pitfalls. "Yup, looks like there's definitely traps around here. We better be careful."

*Malik was about to respond when he heard a crack behind them, he pulled out his sword, rose up on his back legs and deflected a spear stab from a tribal monster.*

"Well, isn't this a surprise."

*He said rather sarcastically. The monster stabbed at him again and he deflected the stab. Malik expanded his wings to keep his balance and hit away another stab before rushing forwards and stabbing his sword into the tribal monster's throught. He then lurched his sword to the side, slicing though the tribal's neck and leaving it hanging halfway off before the monster exploded into shards of data.*

"Be ready, they never attack with just one of them."

"Equinox sent an invite to casey as well. "Well now that we are all friends shouldnt we get going" Equinox said  as he noticed a mirror was in his inventory. "Huh...whats this" Equinox said as he took the mirror out. "Do any of you have this item as well" Equinox asked

Lighting checked his inventory and saw the mirror as well "yeah but I don't see the point off it really I think we should just sell it. No point in keeping this useless item." Lighting told his friends not seeing point of bring the mirror up seeing it as free cash.

"Item description says its un-sellable and un tradeable" Equinox said looking at the description then giving Lighting a look that says to pay attention. "Next  time read the description before suggesting something like that anyways" Equinox said as he looked at the mirror

"Well sorry about that I just want to be a blacksmith over here got to find ways to make money anyway I can so I can open my shop a make weapons to help us get out of here someday.  I just got a bit excited about the extra cash I might have made I would have noticed it later." Lighting said with some annoyance in his voice

In response to the situation, Truffletop quickly drew her dagger and shield. She got into a combat stance, trying to keep alert for enemies while looking for pitfalls. A thought occurred to her. What if we used their own traps against them? Suddenly, a monster appeared from her side and she positioned herself between two pitfalls, minding her escape routes.

"You catch on quick!"

*Malik shouted to her as he ran from one of the tribals then jumped over a rather conspicuous set of leaves and twigs, which the tribal promptly stepped on, and fell into its own pitfall trap, spearing itself on the sharp bamboo on the bottom.*

"The tribals are only smart enough to set the traps, you get bonus XP if you lead them into their own traps. They are not very strong, but they attack in heavy numbers."

*Malik's sword began to glow and he sliced through another tribal.*

"A skilled player can kill an entire party of tribals using their own traps. But it's only really possible when playing solo."

"Let's not just sit here let's go find that rare monster I could use the exp to get stronger cause if we don't go soon I just go fight some boars in the west fields today. So are you ready if not you can message me when you are. So are we going right now are not?"

"Lets get going then" Equinox said as his looks changed and he had glasses on and his coat was a darker color now then what his avatar looked like. "Besides maybe this mirror is a quest item" Equinox said not even taking notice in his change of appearance.

"Alright then to the dungeon lead the way." Lighting said "also what's the boss like anyway I not even sure if we should face him today and we should just level grind for a while before we face him but being beta testers I'm sure you would know its weakness right." Lighting gulped in his. Nervous behavior.

"Its weakness is its speed its slow but it can hurt if you get hit" Equinox said not wanting to give too much information of the game to anyone. "Its head is his weak point also" Equinox said as this as he knew that this isn't a game anymore this a battle of life or death

Casey accepted the invites. "You can call me captain or Casey is just fine." Casey said smiling. She couldn't wait to defeat the monster. "Yeah." Casey responded to Equinox after she listened to everything he said. She noticed Lighting's nervous behavior. "You ok?" Casey asked.

 

Burning headed out of the inn and was ready to dikscover. She saw a shop with weapons and armor. "Let's go there." Burning said pointing her hoof at it.

"Okay." Blazing said, then started heading towards the shop. He already had everything he needed, but he could always get some better armor if he needed it. I suppose I should get some better armor... If this is a life or death situation, I'm gonna need a lot more defense... He thought.

Burning looked through the armor to find better armor. "Cool!" Burning said. Before, she had also heard about beast-tamers and wanted to become one. "Excuse me! How do you be a beast-tamer?" Burning asked the shopkeeper. "You have to buy a beast from a shop. We have some if you want some." the shopkeeper replied. "How much do they cost?" Burning asked. "They're for free since they are beginner beasts." the shopkeeper said. She pulled out cages. "I want that one!" Burning said pointing at a dragon. The shopkeeper handed it over. "Aww! She's so cute! I'll name her..Mizu! Yeah Mizu!" she said happily.

Blazing continued searching the armor. Unfortunately, he couldn't get any of it yet, so he could only plan ahead. Let's see... I'm gonna want the strongest armor I can get that won't slow me down... Will it slow me down in any way? Crap! I don't know what to get! He thought.

Burning got the armor and Mizu. She walked over. "Having trouble deciding?" Burning asked Blazing. She looked at the armor. There was lots to choose from. "Wow. There's a lot of armor to choose from." Burning said. Burning started looking carefully through it.

"Kind of." Blazing said. "I have an idea." He said to himself. "Does any of the armor slow me down at all? Or will it not change anything?" He asked the shopkeeper. I just hope that it doesn't slow me down... That will make things so much easier... He thought. Then there's price though... He remembered.

"Well lets get going then" Equinox said as he headed on forward to the west fields and saw a monster bigger then the boars and had a gold aura around it. "There it is the rare monster...its pretty big maybe I should help them with it in case its stronger then expected

"Yeah fine." Lighting lied know going against a boss can easily mean death. "So what's the plan I was thinking since his head is a weak point I could fly and attack it there if that's ok with you that is." Lighting said trying to hide that he was scared at the possible death that awaited him.

"You just need to be consistent with your fighting, don't let up for a second, and don't show any openings. The AI on these tribals are not the best, but they are opportunists, and will take any opening they can find."

*Malik replied to her before slicing through another one of the tribals. One of them dropped down from the trees behind Malik and stabbed forward at him, Malik dodged it, but it grazed his arm, and his health went down a few points.*

"Arg!"

*Malik grunted before turning back and slicing through the monster. He then kicked the monster back and it landed on its back on top of an unsprung net trap, which quickly swept it up, trapping it in a swinging net. It screamed, then exploded into polygons.*

"The waves only last for about a minute and a half, so we don't have to survive too much longer."

"You just need to be consistent with your fighting, don't let up for a second, and don't show any openings. The AI on these tribals are not the best, but they are opportunists, and will take any opening they can find."

*Malik replied to her before slicing through another one of the tribals. One of them dropped down from the trees behind Malik and stabbed forward at him, Malik dodged it, but it grazed his arm, and his health went down a few points.*

*Malik said to her, stabbing at an enemy that was rushing up behind her. He slashed across the tribal's chest and stabbed at it again, killing it.*

"Only two more, we are just about done."
