   I would have been disappointed if the show had ended, but I would have still been a fan even if did end, next there is also the internet, with fan made videos that could carry on the show too, and the bronies do a fantastic job at writing and animating the videos, so I see the internet as the new median to keep "My Little Pony friendship is magic" in our imagination. The fans are ultimately the saviours of friendship is magic, whether on the Hub or on YouTube, the show is not going away any time soon, time and patience will tell how long the show will last, and as for me anything new related to the show I will welcome, embrace, and enjoy what the program has to offer.

I like that episode better than most people (I think the only thing wrong with it was a bit rushed), but it wouldn't make a good ending. This was the whole reason why I was scared Season 3 was the last: I (correctly) guessed that Twilight would become a princess, and I didn't want the show to end like that.

do you mean instead of season 4 we'd be getting a reboot?

Cause I might lump that.  There enough slip ups where I could see a reboot being some what acceptable.

I'd end up really hating the episode if it were the final episode. Sure it's good for Twilight if it wrapped up her character arc, but what about the others? Will Rainbow Dash be a Wonderbolt? Did Rarity get her sucessful business in Canterlot? When will the CMC get their cutie marks? What does the future have in store for AJ, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Spike?

 

I'm glad it's just a season finale, they still have ground to cover with the rest of the mane characters(especially the last 4), and who knows, maybe this will be an opportunity to make new challenges for Twilight

Well thankfully, it wasn't... but if it was you can bet I wouldn't have been happy about it. We wouldn't have gotten closure for anypony but Twilight to some degree, it just would not have been a good ending.

there's not even alot room to play devils advocate, or hell even straight up lie and say "Oh it would be awesome" with out throwing up in my mouth lol.
