I looove derpy, she's my favorite background ponie, and the derp eyes make her so cute :3. I hope she plays more of a role in season 4.

I like her. She looks really unique and cute with those ditzy eyes of her's. She has a good color scheme as well and just the way she get's all clumsy at times is funny, in an adorable sort of way.

 

I never understood the huge fan hype though. I think some fans kind of over-praise her and make her seem just so overrated. Also the Derpy x Doctor shippings. I don't even...

 

But yeah I think Derpy's cute overall. I don't think she's offensive. I just don't understand the huge fan hype and some fan adaptations of her.

 

Regardless, she still get's my love.

Is she offensive? To be honest, if I hadn't heard about the problem before becoming a true brony, I would probably think she was offensive. However, seeing as that did not happen, I do not see her as offensive.

Does she have a good color scheme? Well... I mean... She's perfect in every other way... Plus, it's not bad, it's just a bit simple. But she's a background pony, she shouldn't need to be detailed!

She is one of my favorite background ponies and i say shed needs more episodes. we can learn so much from her! like treating everypony with respect, even if they seem different than us or a bit "off". she's a great character and deserves more love from hasbro.

I really do.

But, I think she needs to stay a background character.

I say this because the last time they shown Derpy and made her talk, people got offended because her eyes were derping, and she was blond *Which then people though that being a blond means being stupid*, so it made people offended.

But, that is not true!

She is not offensive, and the best pony EVER! <---In my opinion. and is not offensive

I absolutely LOVE Derpy! <3 She's so cute and adorable!

It really bothers me that people seriously consider her offensive, I mean, seriously?

I know people have heard it multiple times, but there are way more offensive characters in other cartoons than MLP. 

It was so adorable and dream-fulfilling to hear her first speak in "The Last Roundup", but when they censored her...

Good thing is, I don't think she's being taken out of the series. Mainly because we've seen multiple appearances of her since her voice was censored in "The Last Roundup". 

I hope to see more of Derpy in the future, love her little muffin loving heart!

She's an adorable and silly character. She's not my favorite and I don't often think much of her but I do like her a whole lot, I'm glad she was created.
