New Equestria staff needed.

It would seem I've finally come with a deep need for some help.

 

As approved and warned by Swoop, quite a while back. I will make this topic now that I am in need of one staff pony in my particular situation. I am asking for help and am not advertising my website, but rather my community that is in need. Not looking for players, but staff ta help me in my time of need. Thank you Swoop for directing me in creating this topic.

 

New Equestria is a Minecraft server I own and it is fairly active. Really does deepen on the day. But considering the fact the server is in development and my community has been through so much, I don't blame them for not joining the server, well certain ones really..

 

I'll cut to the chase and then give you a bit of background story of this server despite it being so new.

 

I need a admin, the pony will have the same access and power as me, if all goes well of course. For such power and responsibility isn't going to be used for your own personal gain.

 

Now here is what I would say you'd need to know about New Equestria before thinking about applying for admin on this Minecraft server. As enticing as it is, there is more to this than meets the eye.

(You may cut the history if you want and see the requirements just past the video. Though I wouldn't be impressed because then ya wouldn't know why things are the way they are.)

 

This server stated below is non existent and I am not advertising it, for its now gone.. Read through and you'll understand.

This beloved server had been through 3 generations.

 

1. Fluttershy, his username unknown to me. Was the founder of PonyCraft. Things got a little out of hand with ponies. But what ended this generation was Fluttershy's passion for art. At least this is the reason given to the public for Fluttershy's leave. I was not part of the server at this time.

 

1. Pinkie Pie, her username: PinkamenaDianePie. A player, eventual mod, then admin of PonyCraft, offered to save PonyCraft and payed for financial services out of her own pocket.

 

1. Venf, Lobe, Susan and Cloudkicker. All usernames unknown to me. They all jumped in when news of the server going down yet again because of Pinkie Pie's financial crisis. The server was saved once more. Over time another pony became a admin, named: Storm Warning. Username is escaping me for it was a hard one to remember: "aursok". She lead many changes, both in the server and in my personal life to be honest. But at the highest point in the server's history. All the admins agreed to closed PonyCraft's doors for good. Reason being, fear. Fear of friendships being destroyed because the only direction the server could go was down.

Note that through out the entire history of this server, betrayal was seemingly everywhere all the time and their fear was for good reason. I probably will never truly know what happened or how I myself would of responded to the situation. 

 

The community wanted their home back, so begun a new server. But not in the name of PonyCraft. The server died, but the community was still together. Thanks to the admins of PonyCraft at the current time, they understood that friendships matter. They made it so everyone can contact each other. A new beginning was born out of this event. Though event to some was a crisis, others a opportunity. But considering past events. This isn't the first time a MLP themed server branched off of PonyCraft. The community was now known as: Crafting Is Magic. With a new server to call home. All ponies, new and old foals a like, have not only built this place with their hands from the ground up, but accepted it as their own, together as a whole and not scattered to the winds.

 

So continues the community that has been built over 2 to 3 years now by so many ponies both admins and players a like. But three months into the life Of Crafting Is Magic, events have caused all the original ponies whom spent almost the entire life span of PonyCraft to leave. Management was running with little to no care when it came to the community and individuals alike, admins of CIM failing time in and out.

 

But what happened. You may ask?

 

As for how these admins came to power, it was with in all the panic and grief when PonyCraft died. These old foals took the opportunity and did what they could for the community. They succeed, but only temporarily, as they had next to no experience in running a server. I am quoting from sources, don't take it as my own opinion.

 

Though they made head way and done what was needed. They themselves said the community should vote for its new admin. But the results of these votes disappeared. They never took suggestions or cared to hear individuals of the community. This leads to some serious questions in their leadership. Why are they in power? Who put them there? How should we respond to this?

 

I personally, Maxos. Left. Simple as that.

 

Only a week later did over ten ponies leave as well. Another week or two past and Crafting Is Magic itself closed do to staff dis-function.

 

Today, I can honestly say, that there is no more PonyCraft. Servers may have been born out of this situation and pasted ones. But nothing can be PonyCraft ever again. There are four servers I know of that came out of PonyCraft's official close.

 

(Note, these servers are not intended to be advertised either, but rather mentioned. For they play an incredible role in my personal journey while's creating New Equestria, in either help, hurt or a simple answer as to why I still continued to make New Equestria.)

The first three were made by those I got to know as friends before and after PonyCraft fell. The last one: New Equestria, is my home. I built it from the ground up and I've gone my separate way. Because I felt uncomfortable with the one server Ponycordia, because of the conversations I had prior to the server's creation. I had made my server before I found out about Equestrian Frontier.

 

Minequestria I've sadly endured some of my own betrayal from them and no longer work with them. But considering my morals I still respect them and talk to them when the moment arises from time to time.

I created my server New Equestria for the sake of having a home once again. I had spent entire days on PonyCraft writing books and watching the ponies play in RolePlays. I enjoyed it so much, despite me only being in the background. After seeing PonyCraft fall that fateful day, I then dropped my habits of writing and took what action I could and became a respected pony. I am stating this from sources, don't take it as my own opinion.

 

Now that things turned the way they did, I had been going on with the belief of my server not being another Generation of PonyCraft and wanted a pure new beginning. Though there are those that still believe PonyCraft still lives on in not only a server like PonyCordia, but in mine as well. Calling it the next PonyCraft Generation. I do not want that. For I learnt the hard way that the past only repeats itself (Crafting Is Magic being that lesson).

 

I had learned a lot and owe much to these ponies and how they've changed my life for the better, back when I first joined and had lived there for three months, (I had spent over 8 months on the server on total).

 

But now, because of this belief these ponies have or the pain they've endured through all this drama of PonyCraft's shutdown and the extreme infighting in Crafting Is Magic. I fear things are starting to go grey and breaking down once more between what ponies are left that followed me or had rejoined Roleplay servers and picked mine over others because of my leadership in which they trust more than any other server admin that has stepped up thus far. Such as Crafting is Magic or Minequestria.

 

I can't help this situation because I have a life to attend to. Farm life calls everyday and one can do it at home all year long. But Harvest season is the only time I am away from my home for a good 4 months which is right now til the snow falls.

 

Seeing my friends and this community I've worked so hard to repair, in what others destroyed. It is heart breaking to see them fall a part now while I am gone during this time. I need a pony with the drive and a kind heart to help guide these ponies when I am not there. This community needs healing, you have no idea how much it needs it. Because a straight 6 months of heartache is enough. I was proud ta say I managed to achieve what would of seem the impossible by repairing these broken hearts and friendships.

I had spent all that time getting to know ponies on PonyCraft. But yet not directly getting to know them for myself til now, talking and helping everypony individually has made this all possible and I am glad ta see them get better now.

 

This place and its players is truly a family of its own and is a place to call home. How ever people or ponies may view it. We have been through thick and thin. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing your are loved and accepted. Not because I am a respected or an important pony. But the only reason why I stayed in PonyCraft in the first place, was because I was, as a stranger, accepted into this family. ~Sorry I got carried away :'(

 

Anyway, this is what you will be dealing with. Its a very deep heart felt community that doesn't play Minecraft for the survival or creative aspects of the game. We RolePlay and relive (or recreate our own life's such as OC's) as citizens of Equestria.

I will put him/her through tests of his/her character for a true and proper Admin to be selected that is 17 years or older preferably. You can comment here or PM me. This situation is of great importance and I need a pony true to his word ta help me and bring healing to these ponies that I did not intend to follow me in the first place. Its a community of a good 50 or more players by the way. So its not for the faint of heart. But if your heart is strong and willing, I will teach you everything you need to know, for I run servers, code servers and know about every trick in the book about'em. I don't need skilled people, for learning is just part of life. Its your heart that counts *Puts hoof on his chest and then lowers it*

So, does this use the BronyModPack via Feed the Beast? I might be able to help, depending on if it uses a mod pack or not, and if so which one. (my computer has a substandard processor and is old, so some modpacks make it unhappy).

I will be giving people such as you that respond, the proper info and requirements. It isn't a modded server, so client mods are optional. But it is a MLP themed server so Mine Little pony would be of great use for environment purposes.
