Would you kidnap a child?

Don't take this question the wrong way and I DON'T MEAN  kidnap a random child I mean if you were in a custody battle and you had to give your child back would you do it. I saw a movie about a guy whose ex girlfriend abandoned her daughter to give it to him. The guy raised her for all her life and then the woman wanted her back and he won custody but then she demanded him to take a paternity test and it turned out he wasn't the father. He was forced to give her back but before that could happen they escaped to the father's homeland ( Mexico). So if you loved your child and you had to give it back would you escape somewhere because I would just escape to  the same place he did in Mexico ( My family's homeland) and I guess they might never get us. So what would you do if you were in that same situation.

I wouldn't escape, honestly.

 

Sure, I may love the child but if I was in a custody battle and I wasn't even the mother, then I wouldn't feel right in just trying to escape with the child.

 

 

Plus, escaping and being caught would make things even worse, let alone having a guilty conscience.

I'd have raised the child lovingly, invested emotionally into its nurture and health and made sure it enjoyed itself. This situation is effectively the woman not wanting to take care of a child, dumping it into the legal custody of another, and then demanding it back once it's fully raised. That is a vile, selfish thing to do, and yes, I would escape.

I would probably escape somewhere, since there is a slight chance in winning when it comes to the odds being in my favor. But, demanding a child who you never took the time to raise yourself is pretty selfish.

I wonder about the extradition laws though, would they have to extradite you back to the US because I would hide in the middle of rural Mexico instead of hiding like other American criminals who hide in Cancun or Acapulco.

There is laws for a reason so if there was a court order that I must, I would follow the what was decided even if it was to give the child back

No, the court's rule is law. If they tell you you have to give full custody of your child to your ex girlfriend then that's what you should do. You can and will face serious charges if you do not comply, it's a rather stupid solution to the problem in my opinion.

I don't know, probably not. I would be on the wrong side of the law so it would be a lot of trouble. I guess I couldn't, I would just hope that the mother would realize what she's doing. So no, I wouldn't.

I don't think I would ever kidnap a child in a custody battle... You never actually get the child if you do that....

 

Idk what I would do if i did lose my child though to their father >.> (speaking as if I was a mom)

 

LOL now for a random child? LOL funny thing I SAY oh I just wanna take u home with me to a lot of the kids I work with actually lol.... I would never actually do it though... That would just be mean and selfish on my part to take them away from their homes and the people they love.

I couldn't bring myself to do that no matter the reason, in less the kid is in danger then yes.. but if its just some kid walking down the street then no... and if its my kid and I was going to lose them... well then maybe I should because I was not a good father... or husband..
