So yeah. Here is a bit of drawing i have done. Its like my 3 rd drawing overall and the first one that isnt a test. I kinda overtook the style ( if i have any) from the game Dont starve. PLEASE tell me what you think of it+ what i could improve.


UPDATE: here is another thing i drew in the same artstyle. Its not really good, but i thought i could still post it. I think it looks like a really weird dog-thing.

UPDATE: I did some more meh-things. I decided to just edit this post and not up the thread, so that i wouldnt block the non poneh-art-section for any other people. A parasprite to begin with:


A furball on big legs. Kind of inspired by a tallbird.

Not bad at all for someone just starting out

 

First off, just keep practising drawing, and try to copy real human forms ect and youll develop more, the more you draw !

 

Pointing out the big things:

 

The feet are so different in pic one, one is a claw and the other one a foot shape.

 

The arms also just randomly seem to spring out of the body with no shoulder's (I think that lack of an obvious neck may not help this).

 

The look very rough, If you don't use construction lines and then add detail after I would suggest doing so at it allows you to get a better and more consistent shape and finish things off in a neater way .

 

If you do some of this and keep at it youll be doing amazing drawings in no time !

Wow, I've only seen that game be played once. For your first time you portrayed the characters nicely.

 

All of the critique I have for it basically lines up with Sundew had to say so I wont go into detail, but try some shading. Yeah, I know that its probably not in the game, but I think it gives things that extra pop.

 

Keep it up, keep dding to your style! Looks like your on the road to some good art my friend......golf clap.

I tried doing a little bit of shading on this one, but i am not really happy with it. Im probably gonna redraw this one and edit the post with the new picture. My cat was the choice of motive and he enjoyed it because i swapped between drawing and snuggling :3

Rushed a OC drawing for Inclement Blitz. I tried having her raise her hoof this time and im not happy with it. Probably shouldve placed it lower. Also did i overdo the chubbyness

 

If any of you have an OC that you would like me to try, just write something onto my wall(the status update thingy) to make sure i notice it and i may or may not ( depending on mood) give it a try
