I was worried about whether or not you were coming back...there was one point when you started bleeding and I couldn't stop myself, I went to help you...and I mentioned how we couldn't afford to lose you either...

She sat down and wiped her eyes to keep tears from falling. I don't know what to do anymore! I like you and Six both so-

Realizing what she'd admitted in her mind, Rain clapped a hoof to her mouth. Oh god I'm so so so sorry that just slipped out-!

I'm going to have to choose between you and Six. And one of you is going to die in my mind.

She turned her head. You have no idea how much it hurts, Shadow. It hurts like friggin' hell! She slammed he leg against the ground and felt something rip her skin. She gave a little squeal of pain as blood pured out of a long deep gash in her arm.

Six continued to tune his guitar, it was actually perfectly fine, but it gave him something to do. He heard Tens tinkering and turned to see what he was doing, then heard Rain stomp her hoof and looked up to see what was happening.

S***! Rain tried to cover it but it was bleeding far too heavily. She started feeling dizzy. NOT AGAIN! she yelled at herself, and she looked around. Noticing a transfusion bag she grabbed her arm and stuck it inside. It hurt and her brain was going fuzzy, but the bag was filling pretty quickly.

Might as well....put it to use....she chuckled weakly.

Rain's shout startled Ten, causing him to twist the screwdriver a bit farther than he wanted. "crap, I hope it still works," he mumbled. He opened up the box to reveal a small picture of his mother. A beautiful melody came from the inner workings if the box. (I can't link it nao, look up tears in heaven by Eric Clapton). When the song finished, Ten was looking longingly up at the sky.

Six immediately went to work, sprinting to his saddlebag he grabbed his sleeping bag and tore a section of the cloth covering, then grabbed a few vines from the trees, sprinting back to Rain, he waited until the bag was full before taking her arm, wrapping the cloth around it snugly, and securing it with the vines, a concerned look in his eyes as he checked his work.

Rain coughed, shivering a little.

She smiled at Six's handiwork. "And...he's done it...again."

She then curled up and fell asleep.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(She passes out a lot doesn't she? ;) NOW SIX AND SHADOW CAN HAVE A NICE CHAT.)

Six rested a hoof on her shoulder as she fell asleep, he lifted her and brought her to the tent, where once again, he laid her down. He looked at the sleeping mare once more, a small smile making it's way back to his mouth. He made his way back to the others...
