Six pulled her into a hug, his eyes shut, "Dont blame yourself Rain, none of this is your fault, ya ain't a burden and ya never will be. Youre one of the best that ah know of, and that ain't gonna change."

Rain hugged him back, feeling her eyes beginning to close. She was weak, as a lot of blood had been taken, and she started to slip out of his arms a little.

Six felt Rain slip, he gently lifted her once again, taking her to the tent once more, he gently laid her down. He looked down at the mare, gently brushing her mane from her face. <So much innocence, yet so much pain at the same time> he thought to himself, he yawned and laid next to her, soon falling asleep as well.

Ten, once again exhausted from his injuries, fell asleep again. This time he snuggled up against Riza so she couldn't drop his head again.

Rain felt something warm next to her. She didn't know what it was, as she was asleep, but it felt good and she snuggled into it.

Shadow sat down near his tent, looking at everypony "that went better than i expected" he thought. "I just know this is going to end bad" he thought.

Once every pony else fell asleep, the shadow pony appeared, sitting on a couch eating popcorn "so shadow, how are you feeling? Dont be killing any of these ponies now, I'm the one who will be doing the killing got that?"

"Huh? Well, you know once i get my whooves on you your dead, nice and slow...." he said to the shadow

"yeah I figured" the shadowy figure said as it shoved another hoof full of popcorn in its face "but that won't happen anytime soon, do remember I'm the one running the show here"

"Oh of course you are running the show, but your not going to win in the end." he said with a smug look.

"we shall see, i still have a ton of tricks up my sleeve, i havnt even begun the mind games yet!" it stuffed more popcorn in its face " but lets talk about something else, look at those two" pointing at riza and ten "have you ever seen a griffen and a pony getting together? i mean ive seen ponies and donkies hooking up, but not a pony and a griffin! what would you call their children? grifonies? oh ive got it! poffins! yes we would called them poffins! what do you think?"

"......yeah.....Your futile attempts to get on my nerves are not going to work." he said

 

"But if you kill any of them, you will pay, i cant tell if you are the griffion that blew up that train or someone else...but it will be so much more worse then just killing you and your comrades, so, so, so much worse. " he said with a rasp.

 

"But the sad thing is your too scared to attack me, its sad that your just as weak as before...." he said with a smile.

"oh getting confident are we? this will make things fun, but your boring me now, tell you what ill send a few of my desiples after you, do what you want with them,but you have to admit, poffins is a great name" the shadow pony threw a celery stick at shadow cloud then vanished, leaving behind the couch and a half eaten bag of popcorn

"Great...desiples....I can tell this is going to be worse then just some of his goonies. Its going to be someone we know..." he thought.

Rain woke up suddenly, twisting her head. She noticed she was snuggled up against Six. Oh no, not again! she thought, embarrassed. She hope her hadn't noticed-this was so awkward! He was going to start thinking she was trying to make a move on him!

She walked out of her tent to find Shadow sitting, staring at a single celery stick. Walking over, Rain sat next to him.

"Are you okay?" she asked, concerned. Something had happened while she was gone.

She started to feel light-headed again. I'll need to eat soon, she thought. I gave him a lot of blood, more than I should've-oh no, I keep forgetting he can read thoughts!

"hehe....that shadow pony came to irratate me more" he said with a sigh "If we find any more ponies, even if there somepony we know, tell me quck. He said hes going to send something" he said in a more serious tone "i have no idea what they might be capable of" he said again.

"Oh joy," sighed Rain, looking up at the sky. "Well this'll be fun."

She looked at Shadow. "What if her possesses one of us? We won't know until it's too late. Like Ten," she suggested. "He's already done it once."

As if on cue, Ten woke up at the mention of his name. He sat up and stared in a groggy stupor at all the ponies in front of him. "wuzzat? Did somepony need me?"

"He diddent give me a hint that he was, but he brung up "Mind games" and that worries me" he said.

 

"He also seems to be directing alot of this on me. Also if he does take controll of one of us, I think its may be Riza or Ten, he seemed to take a interest in them."

"What's this about Riza and Ten?" Ten was firing on about three brain cells now.
