Pixie didn't remember heading that way from which the unicorn pointed towards, but she went with it. "Oh, uh, Okay." She stuttered a bit, catching up to Blaze. She walked right beside him and watched his face as they walked. "So, what's wrong? I don't really like seeing you sad." She said, looking to the floor.

"It's just... It's really just the way everypony is acting right now." Blazing confessed. "Still mostly Nova though. Every time I make a friend, he comes in and takes them away from me." He continued. "I don't see why they all care so much more about him, it's just not right." He finished. He was about to collapse again, but he forced himself not to. No... Not again, not now... He told himself.

"Yes it was..." Bayonet says sounding a bit distracted  as she watches the wind blows Cinderblocks  long ash black mane. She shakes her head to get a hold of herself and pulls her long braid closer to her neck to make sure it doesn't show her scar. She looks at the ash that's on some parts of Cinderblocks body and raises an eyebrow. "Cinderblock, why do you have ash on you?"

"This time? Uhh..." Tapping a hoof on her chin thoughtfully, Cinder considered the likeliest reason. "Oh yeah! Something I was working on might have kind of slightly... exploded. A little bit."

 

She smiled wistfully as is recalling a fond memory before blinking and waving her the goggles in front of her. "Theres usually something or other that goes wrong and smoke gets everywhere and... It kind of gets stuck in my mane and tail. Is it bothering you?"

"I know..." Blazing said, forcing a small smile at least. It wasn't much, but it was still something. I suppose she doesn't really know much about my past yet... Maybe I should explain it to her at some point. He thought. He decided to wait, thinking it would be better to explain later.

@, Bayonet giggles and waves a hoof dismissively. "It's alright. I'm a blacksmith,  so I'm, use to ash and soot. It also got in my mane a lot. And sens I was a filly I loved the smell of the ash from my papas forge." She lightly sniffs Cinderblock and smiles. "It kinda reminds me of home."

"I'm glad. I hope you remember that." She said cheerfully, flicking her tail. "So where is your room at? It seems we've been walking for quite some time now." Pixie chuckled at the thought. "We get lost a lot." She looked to the stallion and tilted her head. "Do you do this on purpose or do you have no sense of direction like me?" 

"I have no sense of direction outside of Ponyville." Blazing said. The only reason he knew Ponyville so well was because he had spent most of his life there, and even then he still got lost sometimes. "That and I hit my head on a desk twice, so I'm still a bit... Somethin'." He added. He couldn't think of the right word for it, so he just went with "somethin'".

Pixie was a bit shocked by the fact that he had harmed himself, she did not know a single pony who had ever done anything on purpose. "Why would you do such a thing?" The earth pony asked, concern growing on her face. "Please tell me you don't do that often." She looked down at the floor once more.

"Really? Heh, I thought I was the only one who enjoyed it!" Cinder beamed.

 

Stifling a yawn, she tried and failed to remember whether she had actually gotten any sleep the night before. Glancing at the bottles she wore as she turned briefly away from the other two, she selected one filled with the same blue-gray liquid she had drunk at lunch and swallowed half of the bottle, placing the remainder carefully back into place with a slight shudder.

 

"A blacksmith? Thats great!" The inventor declared as she turned her attention back to the mare. "Are you good? Of course you are: your mark's for blacksmithing, right?"

 

 

'Wow, she's really easy to talk to - I don't think I've even said anything really wrong yet!'

"Well, we might as well go look then." Blazing said. He wasn't in too much pain, but it still hurt. I suppose it will give me time to be alone in a sense... He thought. He only considered it being alone because if he thought of it as being with a friend something would ruin it.

The earth pony said as she sprinted off into the gardens. It was already past noon and the sun was high in the sky, just enough to let the dew shimmer off of some of the leaves on the flowers. She looked through all of them, but none with white buds and a thick wooden stem. "Drat." She said scrunching up her face in anger, the one time that she needed something for someone else and she blew it.

"Awesome, lets take a right here, I think I remember being around this area before." She said, almost proud that she remembered the way somewhat. At the very end of the hallway there were those same swinging glass doors. Pixie smiled at the sight. "Okay, here we are. I'll go look under some trees. Stay right here." Pixie Dust came back, wearing a slight frown. "I can't find it." She said, not even daring to look the unicorn in the eyes. The earth pony felt very bad for letting him down. Arrow was in class and finds a chair in the far back. "There ya are..." He said and sat back there. He looks at the group of ponies and watches their facial expressions, how they look, etc. "Who is it that might best suit me?" He asked himself watching and learning.

I run a forge back home with my papa, and we make most of the things others use in the town, cooking tools, things for farming. I can do it all. But my specialty is bladesmithing, like knives and swords."

She awkwardly ajusted it with her mouth, pulling the latch a bit tighter since it was slipping.

Doug trotted down the halls, head clouded in thought, 'wonder what Pixie and Blazing are doing' he keeps walking, then sees the mare down the hall with blazing.

Doug speaks "hey guys, what's up." He says trying not to sound weird thus having a bit of a shaky voice. "I kinda lost you guys back there, but I wasn't paying attention, heh" he says sheepishly.

"Now... I think my thoughts are getting back to normal, so it should be... That way!" He said, pointing towards the direction of his dorm. "Now just to get there..." He added, trying to figure out what hallways he would have to take to get there. He thought about it for a minute, then took the hallway that looked right.

"Alright." The earth pony said, following close behind the unicorn. "So what do you normally do for fun?" Pixie said, trying to bring aome lightheartedness into the conversation since she felt it was too dark for too long. "I like to do pranks of course, and I really enjoy making flower arrangements." A smile faded over her lips as she remembered all of the beautiful flowers of her homeland.
