Golden Dawn has made his way closer where the light was and I see did he began to see figures appearing from within the falling snow.

 

As th stallion got closer he happen to see one pony lower a bow that had been trained on another. has he got wasn't yelling range he calls out, "Hello, I hope there's not any trouble."

 

Golden Dawn then lowered his hood, revealing long dark brown mane and a golden head. the stallion made sure his sword was in plain sight, strapped to side and ready to be drawn if needed.

Yet his sword was low toward the ground somewhat and by his stance it was clear he did not want to fight as he add, "I would like to say friend but that is up to you."

lightning walked over to light streak and Golden dawn  "hello i'm lightning, i'm a musician i have this guitar and this keyboard." he said pulling his axe guitar and keyboard out, then he started to play a tune on the keyboard.

"So, Golden Dawn is it?" he asked snuffing the match's flame. "are you a part of the royal guard or what? Sworn to the sun and all." he finished, letting out a puff of smoke

At this point, Tempest had left the camp and decided to see what was causing that noise. He soon noticed Frost and the other survivors, before smiling. "I thought I heard something." He said.

"Guardian of time," the stallion questioned somewhat confused by the title before moving himself towards the heat of the after sheathing his sword.

 

Turning to the other pony and seeing his instruments of strange design he asks, "did you make these instruments? I've never seen a guitar shaped like yours nor have I ever seen what you call a keyboard though I have seen a piano."

 

On to the Frost's question Golden Dawn answer shaking his head, "my father and his family before him are the ones that served Celestia, brave mares and stallions that were able to protect and even give their lives for the royal family. I am on the other hoof, because of this cold was unable to do so. Yet I still serve the ideals of the royal guard, remembering my father's the words he spoke of Princess Celestia." The stallion signs, before he remove in his cloak and revealing the armor of a solar guard as well as revealing he's a pegasi. Opening his saddle bags he removes some food and something to drink.

Windhover held his breath. Ponies were gathering here and there around him. He was still up in the tree, unbeknowst to any of those below him, absolutely invisible. They wouldn't be seeing his anyway, unless they gave his hiding spot a good, hard look. He kept his bow drawn, pointing it at the pony he assumed would pose the greatest threat at this point. The pegasus wasn't going to take a shot, of course, unless things got hairy. He was a good pony, and usually liked to wait out contact. Seemed as if he'd be doing that today.

"Wait, hold on a moment, I have heard of your bloodline, the "special" protectors as some called them, but that dosent seem right, I thought that bloodline died off? Being a mercenary hired by the princesses pushed me to that conclusion. I have heard a lot about your family, and it is an honor to be in your company." he said, bowing slightly as he looked back up at Golden, Frost knew little about the bloodline, but from what rumors he had heard, they were a force to be reckoned with.

Golden Dawn seemed to go deep in thought, though his eyes did show he was considering the ponies there especially Tempest.

lightning was thinking about Golden Dawn's question, then he looked up at him "i found this guitar in a tomb, i was almost killed getting it but whatever and yeah i built the keyboard." he said as he looked at tempest "oh hi, sorry if i ignored you i do that sometimes when i'm thinking and i'm guessing you found us because of my keyboard." he said as he smiled and waved.
