"Oh...well maybe you can help me understand then" Shinx said smiling. "I think the waiter is waiting to see what you want to order Swinging" Shinx said pointing a hoof at the waiter who is waiting patiently. "Oh I can come back if you're not ready to order yet" The waiter said

"Oh, sorry about that, I've got a lot on my mind right now." Swinging said. Come on happiness, hurry up and come back... He thought.He knew it wouldn't do anything, but it was worth a try. "I'll just have the same as her." He said, pointing at Shinx. It doesn't really matter what I get really... He thought.

"So right now you're feeling really nervous at the moment right" Shinx said knowing the look on his face was that of pure nervousness. "How about after we are finished with our water we go someplace else" Shinx said knowing she meant to do that before the waiter came

"Huh, every time somepony dies on your team seems a bit much. Especially if you are in the middle of a war." He said, while the look on his face didn't show it he was surprised. He also had a high risk platoon so it wouldn't be hard for one of his men to die. "I had just figured they did it since I joined through the [military] academy when I was 6." He finished, he didn't go into any more detail than he felt necessary as he started going over a couple of places that would be good. 'There's the Cafe. Nice, fancy, and affordable.' He started listing all of the pros and cons of the major restaurants in the small village.

"We probably should go somewhere else." Swinging said. "I mean, no point in staying here all day is there?" He asked, slowly returning to happiness. Well, it's a start... I'm getting back to happiness a little bit. He thought. He wasn't completely happy yet, but it was a start.

"My team is kind of special, considering we're special ops. We don't actually go home, we can't. In fact me going here for a date is really against regulations, but I don't mind. If I can't go see my dying mother than I should be able to go on a date. My team kind of becomes your family, so if one of them dies they give us time to grief and what not. And considering of some of the situations we go through it is needed."

Fire smiled again, though it was kind of a depressing smile. She was trying to make an effort for her date, considering he went to so much trouble with the uniform.

"Well, that makes sense." He said, deciding to shift the conversation away from the subject. "But, on the present issue of where to go, there are two good restaurants near by. One's better if you just want something sweet and the other has a more lunchy feel to it." He moved the topic to food because he knew that feeling all to well.

 Fire thought for a second, she really wasn't in much of a mood for something sweet. And she hadn't eaten anything proper all day so A lunch kind of restaurant would be the better choice.

"Well, yeah, we'll wait a little bit." Swinging said. "And, like I said, I have mood swings sometimes." He added, explaining why his emotions were changing like that. He may have been happy again, but he also felt awkward having to explain the whole "mood swing" thing again.

"I can agree to that." He said, he realized that he hadn't eaten anything but a ration for breakfast almost 5 hours ago. "Alright, it's just around the corner." He said as he walked into viewing distance (about 100 feet from where he had been sitting outside the gazebo) of the Shamrock Cafe. Most of the seats were on the outside of the green and white colored building, with the seats being made out of hay.

"The only place to get a good sandwich around here honestly." He joked, hoping to lighten the mood a bit more.

"I know you already explained sorry for having you to explain it to me again" Shinx said looking at the table again. "Here's your water for you both, Is there anything else I can get you" The waiter asked. "Oh no we dont need anything else" Shinx said as the waiter went away

"Well, I knew you knew but you did ask about my emotions in a way, so... Yeah." Swinging said. He didn't quite know what to say, so he just finished his sentence with "yeah". Oh that made perfect sense didn't it? He silently wondered. He wanted to make a joke about it, but he decided not to.

"Come one lets go" She said as she got up from the table. "I know a place we can go if thats okay with you anyways" she said as she left the restaurant they were in and waited for him out front. "Come on lets go" She said as she called out for Swinging Breeze and waited for him

"Wait for me." Swinging said as he was catching up to Shinx. He didn't have any specific emotion at the time, which seemed somewhat strange for him. Hm... Maybe it'll go away eventually or something. He thought. He was mostly just hoping that, but it was still possible.

With some luck and a bit of help from remembering some routes, Angel Light found herself where she needed to be.

With some luck and a bit of help from remembering some routes, Angel Light found herself where she needed to be. 

"I wonder wat he'll be like..." she mused to herself. "Cinnamon signed me up for this as a joke, might as well have a nice time."

She felt her way safely into the gazebo and stood there listening. Some ponies were already conversing.

"Er," she began, clearing her throat. "Anypony know who my blind date is?"

Camou, who was also sitting in the gazebo heard her call then looked over at her and looked at the picture of his blind date he got. "I'm pretty sure I'm your blind date," Camou said as he walked over to Angel. "Okay, focus, don't say anything stupid and talk to her."  he thought to himself.

Angel Light turned towards the sound of the voice, but was a little off. She seemd to be looking past him, but there was no way she could know that.
"Alright... Um, so, what's your name? I'm, um,  Angel Light," she said, fluttering her wings and waiting for his response.

Camou was confused for a second, and then just shrugged and looked over to her. "Uh I'm over here by the way. Anyway I'm Camou-flage nice to meet you Angel Light. So uh, I guess I'm your blind date then." Camou knew he must start out with a question from what he's learned from his parents. "So um where are you from?"

"O-okay." Swinging said. He was trying his hardest to hide his nervousness. Unfortunately, it wasn't working too well, it was still obvious how nervous he was. Isn't this just perfect? He thought. He just had the feeling that something was going to go wrong, even if he didn't know what would.

"Well we could..." He started. He was going to suggest they go to Cloudsdale, but then he remembered that Shinx was an earth pony. "Never mind, I don't know either." He said. Well there goes my plan then... He thought. He liked fellow pegasi the most, mostly because of his love of flying.

"Sorry. I suppose you are..." she smiled awkwardly, cheeks still warm.

"Uh, as for where I'm from, I lived in Cloudsdale until my older sister graduated from school and moved to Windermare, not far from here. Being on the ground was, um, safer - it's a long story - for me than clouds, so I went with her... " she  sighed, hoping he wouldn't ask why it was safer. It was embarrassing.

"Um, what about you?"

Camou took a deep breath and started telling his story. "Well I grew up in northern Equestria. My parents always thought I'd be a great athlete. But I couldn't succeed at sports and they were so disappointed..."  Camou had to wipe away a tear, "They left me." Camou held in the teas from reminding himself of this as he looks down at his scarf.

"Depends... How long would it take?" Swinging asked. He had always loved Cloudsdale, or even just clouds themselves, but he didn't really want to wait to go there. It would be so much easier if she was a pegasus... Then we could just fly there. He thought.
