Help creating cutie mark for OC

I have been working on my new OC for quite some time.  I just got the name down about 1 week or 2 ago.  Design done before time itself (Refer to current avatar).  I take way too long when it comes to design.  But I like changing things til they become near perfect (in my mind).  All I need is the cutie mark.  So, my OC has been a blank flank for quite some time now.  

 

Background info: The name is Arctic Silver (I'm thinking about changing my profile name to this, but I'm afraid to be that person who changes constantly), which is a direct reference to the thermal compounds and adhesives company Arctic Silver.  A reason why I chose this name is because of the cool and blue colors I used on my OC.  The reason why the colors are cool colors is because I personally like colder weather, same with the colors.  As well as having a deep interest and passion for computers.  Yes the name is trademarked, but this should be legal since it is being used for personal use.

 

Moving on, as for personality of the OC, which is reflects my own.  I would say some traits are anxious, modest, timid, extremely self-cautious, enjoys being alone, mellow yet short tempered and quite stubborn.  I'm not trying to make this a Fluttershy copy-cat, as I am still trying to think of some traits that distinguish it from being a copy.  As for talents, I guess good at drawing, as well as knowledge of computers (although this wouldn't necessarily apply).  I honestly don't have a clue on what it should be.  When it comes to cutie marks, I have a nuclear brain fart.  Any suggestions and ideas are welcome, something to work around.

An ice sculpture would match the colour scheme and personality. Ice sculpting can be used as a winter themed analog for drawing. As for what it should be a sculpture of, I can't really say. Perhaps an animal with a relatively simple silhouette. I want to say penguin, but if you can think of an animal that represents you or that you simply like, then I would suggest using that. It seems to work as a general theme, and it let's you play with symbolism. It's not much, but I hope it helps you with your design.

 

Updated idea: Perhaps a simple quill carved from ice? Or a lightning bolt (to represent electronics). Have you tried making random doodles? Even if none of them are cutie mark material, one of them may inspire you.

This actually helps very very much, more than might think.  I appreciate your feedback greatly.  I've been at a stump for months!  It's insanity!  I actually was thinking about that right before you posted it.  Strange, are you telepathic?  I'm thinking about sticking to something similar to that.  I was thinking, possibly a frozen, frost bitten, wind blown, ice paint brush.  Thank you very much again!  If I can pay 1$ for every extra brohoof on that post, I would brohoof it 8 more times!  Because that's all I have left on me.

This is still in a stalemate.  It's been months and still no defined idea yet.  By months, I mean maybe 5 months before this very post and topic.  I would consider maybe some sort of hammer or chisel, but I'm not a stone mason or sculptor.  Possibly a hammer for smithing/repair (armor or computers/devices) but when it comes to art, I think it's rather generic in my mind.  E.g. - a paint brush.  It's hard to come up with something symbolic and represents talent, with a hint of personality all in one package.  Especially when compared to the quality of the shows.  My lack of any concept is ridiculous, perhaps there needs to be adjustments on my character in order to consider other ideas for a cutie mark?

You've said two things that he's good at, but for a cutie mark I need the one thing that he's great at.

It also helps to include a dream of his, or even a large character trait.
