Okay, so, a friend of mine and I made this piece of music a little while ago, and I was wondering if I could get some critique on it, please?

It's an awesome track. But I feel that the one thing that this track is missing are...vocals. Plus you might need to go back and work on those transitions, for they are a bit rough. Also, cut down on some of the repetition, that's another thing that's killing your track. 

 

The guitar's distortion could've just been a teeny bit lighter. Some of the "grunge" is getting in the way of clarity. 

 

For the drums, like I said earlier, have more varied fill-ins in between parts. Also I suggest you employ the use of single time, double time and half a little more. 

 

I couldn't quite hear the bass. You might need to lower the volume of the guitar. 

 

And one last thing: the entire song does not have to be distorted. The intro was a bit to harsh. Maybe a build up would do. Start off with a light overdriven signal, then employ the heavy distortion instead of starting off hard. Remember, think fire. Fires start off small then grow. It seemed like you started in the "middle of the fire". 

 

It was pretty awesome listen
