open Winter's New Beginning (Romance)

Lunar Dance trotted out into the courtyard. She heard the word medical and gasped. Her long blue hair flowing in the wind. She walked over their gracefully acting refine because her friend told her to do so. She said "Um.. I heard your a medic.. I-I" she stopped herself 'He's just a pony! No need to be shy! Plus I recognize her from earlier when Cloud duster was chatting with her!' "I'm training to be an athlete! It would be amazing to know someone like you!" She said. Her ocean blue eyes sparkling as she extended a hoof. She smiled a fake smile and fixed her posture. "Um I have a question.." She said putting her hoof down. "Can I act like myself?"

Charcoal shook her head and pushed away the vial. "I don't use anything like that. If it can heal on it's own, without the need for medicine or anything like that, then I choose to just let it heal on it's own. I feel more accomplished that way." Charcoal said as she took another bite of her sandwich.

Guardian withdrew the vial, scared he had made a mistake, "Ah well, the offer is up if you want. I know pony who practicly survives off this gel, he had a very weak immune system and cant have any cuts. Also most of the time I agree with you, let the cut heal, but sometimes if it really hurts, well then i use this". He said. "Um.. I heard your a medic.. I-I", Guardian looked up to see another mare. She had kind of butted into his conversation with Charocl. He tried to get rid of her tacfully. "Um, sure, heres a card." he handed her a small card that had his place of buissness on it. He looked at Charcol, trying to say sorry with his eyes.

That made Lunar Dance mad she said "Hey listen to ME! Buster! That was rude!" She grunted and plopped down and said "Names lunar Dance! Um guessing your Doctor Nerd and Your charcoal ember! My friend was chatting with you earlier!" She was now being herself because she didn't want to act refine. She hated not being herself and she grinned.

Charcoal smiled. "I know, but you can keep the potion. And, well... to be completely honest... no nevermind." Charcoal said. Then she just continued eating and waited for Dusk to finish his conversation with the mare that just walked up to them. Charcoal wished she had some lemons right now.

"Please leave" Guardian said quietly "I was in the middle of a conversation, and i don't enjoy insults." he got up and walked down about 30ft and just looked out studying the night, half hoping Charcol would come over and support him. The name nerd went back far with Guardian,

"Wow I'm sorry..." She said as she trotted after him. "It's just that I panicked and called you names and I didn't mean that.. I was kind if listening to your story.. I would have loved to have it when I had my brother around.." She murmured than turned to him. "I will leave now.. I just wanted to say sorry and say that your really smart for inventing something so amazing.." She whispered to him and turned around.

Charcoal followed Dusk outside and sat down next to him. "Hey, you alright?" Charcoal asked. She had been called nerd a lot as a filly, but it never really bothered her much. But Dusk seemed troubled and she hoped she could help him if she was able to do it.

She smiled as she turned and put on her glasses. Her vision becoming crystal clear. Being an athlete she couldn't wear glasses. And she read a lot of science books. But she knew they were hobbies. She looked around the garden and thought of her sister. The large blue alicorn poped into her mind as she watched the moon and pictured her sister raising it not even an hour ago.

((Oh my god am so sorry, i changed my Oc name its Guardian not Dusk, Dusk is my other OC)) 

 

Guardian sighed "Ya, but the name nerd, well, it brings back memories. What makes it better is remembering the rubber duck, i can tell you if you want." His eyes were far away, thinking about the past. He had decided that charcol should know if wants about his cutie mark, it majorly affected him and others he meets. That other mare, she had know idea what the word meant, none.

A small blush spreading on her cheeks. She turned around and said "That would be wonderful.. Just don't make me tell my story! It would have you bawling your eyes out!" The seconds half of her sentence had her pretty voice back. Not a soft call. She turned to him and smiled. Her glasses making her eyes sparkle and she sat down beside Dusk waiting to hear his story.

She released that Dusk was gone and that she was talking to herself. She sighed sadly as a tear drop fell from her eyes. She walked away slowly to be engulfed by the crowd. She walked over to the bar and sat down. She said "Get me a pineapple Martina.. NOW!" She smashed her head on the table ready to drink he problems away..

 

(She will do that cause she panicked a lot and will drink. But if she had a friend to stop her she wouldn't do it just let her drink for this once)

Charcoal nodded. "Sure, you can tell me. My body is ready." Charcoal joked and chuckled. "But in all seriousness, you can tell me your story if you would like to. I would like to know, but if you don't want to tell the story then that is alright with me." Charcoal said.

She looked around the party. Her drink in her hoof and she took a sip. The cold drink burning her throat as she watched the moon. SHe used to see her sisters shadow glimmering in the moon. Now the moon is empty. "What if they find out.. I'm her sister.." She said. She finished the drink and ordered another one. "I'm ready to drink the night away.." She sat down alone looking at the figures of Dusk and Charcoal.

Guardian realized that Luna was standing right next to him, he didn't feel comfterable with her hearing the story, "Ill tell you a bit later tonight, okay Charcol?" He said. He was looking for a tactful way to get rid of Luna.

*He took a deep breath and readied himself to enter the semi-busy restaurant , his heart fluttered but he managed to keep his calm expression, he stamped his hoof down gently and muttered to himself* Here we go then...    

 

*He quietly walked in and gazed around at the bustling ponies, it was more of a relaxed atmosphere than expected, he let out a small sigh of relief and walked over to the bar occasionally shooting sideways glances at the ponies around him*  Yeah Ill just take a glass of cider please, im not really to bothered about the brand *he smiles kindly at the bar maid, relaxing a bit and getting comfy on the stool*

"I need friends.." She concluded. She was thinking about her life and how boring she was. All she did was train and than study and play video games. The last drink getting to her head. She laughed like a crazy pony than rested her head on the table.

She looked beside her and saw Skylar. She laughed and said "Hi.." She managed to get out. She took a sip of her pineapple martini and looked at him. Her long dark blue hair cascading down her back and her wings out. Her ocean blue eyes wandering up and down the Pony beside her. She wanted to get a good look at him.

(GUYS SHES AT A BAR! READ THIS OK? She realized that you guys walked away from her and now she's getting drunk at a bar with skylar! Well she's not going to get nuts but I'm adding comedy to this serious mood! And I put it in caps cause it attracts your attention. I've said it 3 times now)

*He froze slightly hearing the mares cute sounding voice, he blushed gently and turned to face the Pegasus, though he didn't usually mind about a ponies looks, since he was never too confident about his own, he had to admit she was rather good looking*  Hey   you here for the party to or... just stopping by?  *He tried to sound calm but his voice cracked a tiny bit*

She laughed and said "I'm here to party! And thanks for all the stares your giving me hot shot.." She smirked and pulled her drink closer. Se said "You've been starting at me for a minute.. And it's ok to be shy around me! I'm not going to bite!" She giggled and took a sip of her drink. Her breath smelling of sweet pineapple. Her 'cute voice' said "Now what's your name Mr.Cider..?"

*He flinched hearing himself being called hot shot, he really wasn't used to mare attention* Oh I have? Ummmm    Sorry, I focus so much on my training I never really do ... this sort of thing... *his big blue eyes twitched slightly as he replied to her last question* The names Skylar.... and you ?

She mare said "Lunar Dance.. And you train to? I train ALOT!" She stepped off the bar stool to show him her toned body. She stretched her wings out and giggled "I'm sexy right?" She giggled to the stallion and got up on the bar stool. She finished another drink and started to get a bit woozy. But she shook her head and burped slightly and blushed like crazy. She said "I'm so sorry.. I've just had a few drinks and I'm just embarrassing myself.. I think I should order a water.." She told a waiter her order and drank her eater when she passed her one. Her mind slowly settling down. But still jumping around like a crazy bean!
