Dust looks up at Ambrose. "I don't deserve such a kind and beautiful mare, like you." Tears were starting to form in his eyes and the wing he had around her twitches.

The moment that Ambrose said that and kissed him, his heart stopped, and he kissed her back. "I love you." Is all he says as he holds het closer to him. He didn't want this moment to end. He smiles at her and pets Nightstar. Ambrose was the first pony he had told about his darkness, and she understood, that was good enough for him.

Ambrose smiled at him. She had finally gotten through to Dust. She turned to continued watching the movie all the while stroking his mane with her extra hoof. The other one was petting with Nightstar. Ambrose was content and happy, she just wanted to stay on this couch forever. Her eyes eventual grew tired and fell close.

Dust Stofm smiles, he gently picks Ambrose up and puts her on his back. He then carries her up to his room, puts her in bed and tucks her in. He gets out his special blanket and puts it over her. He then kisses her and whispers, "sleep well my angelic princess." And walks back to the living room to sleep on the couch.

Ambrose woke to the sound of birds. She was in te guest room, yet Dust wasn't here. 'Where did he sleep?' She thought. She went downstairs and found Dust asleep on the couch. She smilied and went back to her workshop. She needed to find a new project.

Dust woke to the sound of Ambrose working in her workshop. He yawns and stretches his legs. Then walks into the workshop, kisses Ambroseon the cheek and asks, "what are you working on love?" He may not know much about engineering, but he wanted to show a genuine interest in Ambrose's work.

Ambrose in truth had been fiddling with her crossbow. "Hold on give me two seconds...ah okay. Sorry I had to finish that." She turned to Dust a little embarrassed. "Sorry, just had I finish that up. Here follow me" he descended into a little basement with a target blast doors and a safety room. She primed the crossbow to fire with a remote trigger. Then she led Dust into the shelter.

"Right carful now." She pulled the trigger and the whole testing room exploded. Once the noise had cleared Ambrose turned to Dust, "that didn't work quite the way I wanted it to."

Dust's ears were ringing from the explosion, but being a guard, he got used to it. "No I guess it didn't, but what was supposed to happen?" Curiosity getting the better of him, "you'll get there though. I have faith in you, you're the most intelligent and talented mare I know."

"Thank you" Ambrose said. She and Dust left te workshop and went back to the kitchen. "So what should we do today?" Ambrose asked. She want quite fully sure what to think of Dust yet.

"Well we did something I wanted to do yesterday, so its your turn to choose something." Dust replies with a smile, "oh and Ambrose, last night when I was asleep, I felt something inside me change, I felt free and happy, as if the darkness had finally left me.,"

Ambrose smiled. "Happy to help. Also you chose, I don't want to," she said. Ambrose didn't like choosing because often she was afraid of forcing the other pony to do something they didn't want to do. "You can pick anything". She wanted Dust to be happy and have him stay that way.

"Ok, well...how about we go to the market?" Dust suggest, sure it wasn't romantic but that was all he could think of, besides, he needed to get a few things for Nightstar. He smiles, "breakfast smells delicious." He says.

Ambrose nodded happily, she needed more staples anyway. "That sounds perfect" she said and she led him along the road towards the market trying to fold her wing nubs in so they wouldn't be seen.

They pass a few stalls and something catches dusts eye. "Ill be right back," he says and quickly runs off to the stall. It was a jewelry stall that also sold pet collars and did engravings. He sees a collar that he liked, a small black one with a fee

W diamond studs on it. He buys it and asks for Nightstar to be the engraving. He then sees a beautiful diamond ring, and he buys it for Ambrose. He walks back to Ambrose and shows her the collar, "do you think he'll like it?" He asks

Ambrose nodded at Dust "we can ask him wen we get back" se said. Ambrose let walking deciding on a present to buy for Dust. She finally sees a bracket made out of hold with a crazy wind design etched into it. She rushed over and bought it for him hiding it in her bag.

"Brilliant..what's yer name love?" He said scanning her from head to tow with those observing eyes of his probably nit-picking all the little details she had on her. It was good to have keen eyes such as his for his line of work, observation was key and he held professionalism above most anything else.

Neon Fire jumped into the air and started flying.  She followed after Sketch, unsure of what just happened.  She met him, but he forgot that so soon?  She wanted answers.  She needed them.
