Midnight nodded, not wanting to push the issue and make another scene. "Sure!" She got up. She blinked, noticing his eyes looked a little puffy. "Were you crying???" She looked more closely. "Your eyes looked like you tried to..." She got confused, wondering what could make him tear up.

Grell stood and turned "I don't cry " grell said "come on its this way " grell said as he led her to the undertaker workshop "it's like nopony has been in here in ages" grell closed the door and upon doing so discovered a key "I haven't had a chance to check out the second floor yet"

Midnight blinked, looking around. "It's very...dusty..." She wiped some dirt off the wall. "So will it just be you staying here...?" She didn't want to automatically assume she was staying here too. She knew that assuming was one of her weak points. She continued to look around.

"well I thought you would stay with me but it's your choice "grell said as he looked around "let's check out the top floor " grell said as he walked over to the stairs he felt the ring lightly press against him as he started to go up once at the top he seen two rooms he opened one door and found a large fluffy bed he opened the other and seen it was empty but had a glass roof

Midnight followed. "I want to stay here with you, of course," she said, looking around the room eith the bed. "That bed looks sooooooooooooooo comfy." She giggled, jumping on it. "Oh my celestia, this is amazing!" She rolled aroud on it, dust flykng everywhere.

Grell sneezed "I think we'll need to clean it first " grell said and he laid on the bed he was surprised it was almost as comfortable as his coffin he decided he could sleep on it as long as midnight was with him "and we are going to need a bath " grell said looking at himself

Midnight nodded, sneezing three times in a row. "Cab I decorate the house pretty please? I promise it won't be girly. It'll be gothic and dark. It will be 'grell worthy'. I promise." She really wanted to decorate. She had every room she'd seen so far pictured out in her head.

Grell sneezed then thought "ok you can decorate " grell said as he laid by her he thought for a moment and got up going to the other room he set up the coffin and pulled out an apple and began munching on it he looked up at the stars and the moon it was a beautiful sight

Midnight smiled. "Perfect. This would be an excellent time to be a unicorn... Oh! Maybe Mrs. Nurse will help!" She didn't know the nurse's name but she was positive she'd help Midnight decorate. She got up and shook the dust off herself, sneezing again. "Gr-?" She blinked, remembering the ring and just followed it to where he was.

Grell munched his apple and heard midnight say something about time unicorn and nurse when she walked in grell was just starting up at the glass ceiling admiring the stars "what did you say all I heard was time unicorn and nurse " grell said trying to figure out what she could have said

"Oh nothing. Just planning on what to do to this place," she said, sitting down beside him. Her tail draped on top of his. "Watcha lookin at??" She looked up, blinking. "Oh wow! That's pretty!" She smiled, leaning on him. Even though they were surround by death, she felt surprisingly calm.

Grell Sat happily just staring up at the sky he put his foreleg around her and sneezed and pulled out an apple and began to eat it since he finished the other "it's getting about time to go to the meeting " grell said he wasn't looking forward to it because new ponies annoyed him

Midnight nodded. "As much as I know neither of us want to go, we have to..." She grabbed an apple and ate it, sighing. She really did not want to go to this meeting. She always got nervous when she has to introduce herself to new ponies. "At least we'll be suffering together," she laughed, nomming the apple.

Grell nuzzled midnight before standing up "well let's just get this over with" grell said as he took one last look at the sky before heading back downstairs to the door he stepped outside and tried the key he found on the lock and it worked he waited for midnight to walk out before locking the door

Midnight stood by Grell, smiling. "Ready??" She stretched, then fixed her mane. It was dirty from all the dust and dirt. She sighed. "When this meeting gets over, we need to go get cleaning things and start working on our new home." She smiled, kissing his cheek.

Grell smiled "yeah our home will be awesome " grell said he looked at himself his coat was know a light brown from the dirt and dust instead of its usual put tree pristine white he sighed because he looked like a hobo "we'll also have to clean ourselves "

Midnight nodded, walking out of the cemetary. "Most definitely. I feel icky." She kept flicking her tail, dust flying. "I shouldn't have rolled around in it... Ugh..." She shook out her fur again, sighing. She was now black instead of dark purple. She felt like a hobo too.

Grell stated to sigh but it turned into a sneeze "yeah I feel icky to and I can't stop sneezing " grell said then sneezed "I will clean our house I can't live like this I can't spend my life sneezing " grell smiled as he walked to the meting "hey midnight where's the meeting "

Midnight blinked, thinking. "Ummmm... I think it is at the mess hall... I'm not sure..." She smiled, sneeezing. She huffed, shaking out her coat again. "Sometimes I wonder if I'm a special pony... I am awfullly idiotic sometimes..." She sighed again, walking towards camp.

"grell smiled "you are special but not that way "grell continued to walk to the mess hall "alright let's check there grell said hoping that it wasn't in the mess hall and that they wouldn't find it all because he really didn't want to go he doesn't like meeting new ponies

Midnight walked out of the mess hall, smiling. "That wasn't as bad as I thought." She nommmed on a cupcake. "At least they gave us foood..." She smiled, continuing to nom on her cupcake. She loooked at Grell. "What'd you think??"

Grell laughed as he thought about the reactions everypony had him screaming death fiery pain death in the middle of the meeting

"i had fun " grell said as he ate a apple cupcake he also had five in Gus magic "let's go talk to silver and see if he needs us to do anything "

Silver awake from his nap to the sound of two ponies approaching. He looked up, and seeing that it was grell and midnight said, "Oh, perfect, I was afraid that I would have to track you two down. We have a rather serious problem. All the spirits which maintain or barrier have been getting into fights over some charred tree trunks or something. However, despite the triviality of the argument, it creates two serious problems first, parts of the barrier go down occasionally, sometimes for hours. Second, no forest spirit in their right mind would think about going anywhere near anything that could possible harm a tree, therefore, somepony, or something, presumable malevolent, is behind this. As I am preoccupied monitoring the shield, I need the two of you to investigate. Come to me immediately with any questions or discoveries. Understood?"

Midnight nodded, finishig her cupcake. "I will have to get my blade sharpened, though. It's pretty dull from the last fight we got into." She looked in the medical bag. "And more medical supplies. We need to be prepared for anything." She knew that is what Grell would suggest.

"am I really the best choice for this I can kill trees and plants to wouldn't the spirits not want me around " grell asked "as long as that doesn't interfere then I'm game" grell looked to midnight "well let's try to not almost die this time "
