Midnight touched his face, wincing a little at the pain. "A little painful but... I'm not dying... It just kind of feels like a bee sting..." She smiled up at him, trying to stand up. She got up, her legs wobbly. She opened her wings, smiling. "They're fixed!" She flapped them, giggling. "I can fly again!"

Grell smiled "yeah that happens when you gain extra life force, and I told you to be careful you could have just died " grell said "anyways this doesn't happen often only when I'm sure ill lose, my body starts stealing life force and heals me and adds to my power"

Midnight nodded, smiling. She flew up in the air, flying around. She looked really happy. She landed in front of him. "Wanna ride on my back to see what a pegasus sees??" She kept her wings unfolded. -I want to show him the sky... It's so pretty from a pegasus's point of view...-

Grell smiled "how about after I get my power level back down so I don't sting you " grell said as he looked around for something to use extra power on "we need some stuff to kill " grell said he walked over to a tree unwrapped his hoof and focused the aura flowed to cover his hoof and nothing else grell smiled "hey midnight check this out" grell said as he punched through the tree and three others all of them turning into dust

Midnight blinked. "Holy Celestia! How'd you do that?!" She got really excited, folding her wings and trotting over to him. "That was soooooooo cool! I wish I could do something like that. I'd love to be able to make things go poof!" (((I gotta go to work. I'll be back around 8)))

"my power level was about ten times normal so I could affect plants like I do ponies my power is potent that's why you need to be careful because that could have easily been you " grell said trying to make a point as he wrapped his hooves back up

Midnight nodded, sighing. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to worry you..." She looked up at him and pecked his cheek. She didn't want him to be mad at her. She knew he wasn't, but she also didn't like it when she made him worry about her. She looked at him again. "I'm sorry..."

Grell hugged her "it's ok but I want you to be extra careful till I can control it " grell said then kissed the top of her head "now how about you fly us to camp " grelll said with a smile he was curious about flying and she had offered to let him ride on her back

Midnight smiled, opening her wings. "Climb aboard," she giggled, bending down. She was excited to show him the joys of flying through the air. She loved the wind flowing through mane and couldn't wait to show that feeling to Grell. She smiled back at him.

((Meanwhile, outside camp))

Silver sunk his blade into the neck of a manticore, and winced as it thrashed around and slammed him into a tree trunk. He thought to himself, "These monsters are getting bold, I've never seen one seemingly intentionally be so close to the borders... I hope the others get back soon, we can't go on like this forever, we need to find the root of the problem here..."

Grell smiled and climbed up and wrapped his forelrgs her neck "alright I'm nready "grell said then kissed her cheek he couldn't wait to fly it was on his bucket list he'd have to edit it later he had a few new goals in life and a few to check off "don't drop me I might bounce " grell said with a laugh

Midnight giggled, taking off. She flew high up into the clouds, skimming the top of them with her hooves. "Ahh... I missed flying so much...!" She was smiling and giggling. She loved being up in the air. She continued flying, looking back at Grell to see his reactions.

Grell smiled and looked around the view was stunning to say the least "I can see why you love to fly the view is simply gorgeous " grell said with a smile holding on to midnight not because he was scared of falling he just liked to hold her, he didn't fear falling to his death at all$( ))

Midnight nodded. "It's so peaceful and calm up hear. Plus, there aren't any weird things up here to attack us. Well, as far as I can see," she said, grazing the clouds with her hooves. She wove in and out of the clouds, goofing off a little. "It's just so much fun!" She giggled again.

Grell snuggled in to her "this is an amazing view but I can think of one better " grell said smiling as she goofed around grell tightend his grip a little happy he didn't have to worry about being attacked he could really enjoy himself and enjoy being with midnight

"Oh? What's that??" Midnight landed on one of the clouds. She could walk on them since she is a pegasus. She gathered cloud in her hooves, playing with it like it's a ball. She looked so innocent and playful. She looked at Grell. "What could be more of an amazing view than this??"

Grell smiled and pecked her cheek "I'm sure you'll figure it out you're a smart mare " grell said playfully "but we really should get back to camp "grell didn't want it to end but he knew it was safer at camp then put on the woods even if they where flying and he also kinda wanted to be back on solid ground

Midnight nodded, flying agian. Soon they were right about the camp. She started to secend from their sky adventures, landing in the camp. She noticed something outside camp and wanted to go check it out. "I-I'll be back in a sec..." She opened her wings to fly off.

Grell didn't get off "I'm going with you I was still enjoying the view " grell said (hint hint wink wink nudge nudge ) and I saw something out there to so don't think that I'm going to let you rush off into potential danger" grell had his scythe out UN case things went south

Midnight blushed and flew towards where Silver was. She saw him battling something abd it looked like he needed back up. "I thought I saw someone in trouble. I'm not sure, though..." she said, flying closer to the scene. She got out her blade just in case thigs got ugly.

Grell seen what was happening and jumped off of midnight and teleported to the ground "hey need some help" grell said he knew how tough manticores where if it hadn't been for his death touch him and midnight would most likely be dead grell punched at the manticore and thankfully it exploded into a pile of ash and bone

Midnight blinked. -Well that's one way, i guess...- she thought, landing. She grabbed her blade and charged at another one. She went to go slice at it but it dodged her and punched her in the face, sending her flying back. She hit a tree, thumping onto the ground.

Grell seen what happened and was pissed almost instantly the plants within a twenty foot radios died and a dark aura appeared around him he wasn't breathing and was ice cold while still drawing the life force he focused it into his hooves and went on a rampage punching through all the remaining hostiles turning them into pure ash not even bones remained but grell had taken so much power it overwhelmed him and he passed out and stopped drawing life force but remained ice cold and didn't breathe

Midnight got up and brushed heraelf off, a little blood going down her mouth. "Grell!!" She ran to his side, shaking him, not caring about the pain. "Grell! Please wake up!" She kept shaking him, tearing up. There was no way she was going to lose the ont pony who's ever cared for her besides her mother.

The Dark aura was going inside of him he woke up briefly "im ok "grell said but no sooner than he finished talking he passed out again but he started breathing and his body temperature slowly climbed to normal but he was still weak his body wasn't ready for that level of power
