Let's just say I'm not comfortable exposing the fact I'm an alicorn for everypony to see even though I know everypony knows it lol.

And here's another one, been awhile I've posted some of my own artwork, but I got inspired from one Doc. Volt did, involving his OC and a friend of his from Germany.

 

Well my husband is also from Germany, and I've made an OC of him as well which is a shape shifting dragon who can turn himself into a pony at will. So inspired by the nation flags of our two countries that couldn't keep us apart, here it is! (Thxs for the insperation of this image Volty!)

So it's been awhile since I posted any new artwork on here, I've been busy with RL problems and taking requests from my store. But on that note here are some of my recent works.

 

This is a new OC for my OC thread of Lightning Bliss

 

 

And this is a new actual OC I created, a rival for Lightning Bliss, I call him Chase Razor, he's also in my signature. (I would appreciate feed back on his character sheet!)

So this... THIS is the piece I want John Delancie to sign for me! I hope to mail it off to him in some fan mail for his autograph!

 

Basically it's disord, ripping a whole in time between his view of chaos and outer space...He's teasing Lightning Bliss while distracting her husband with a makeshift of his tail of the USS Enterprise starship lol

Ya I think I'm gonna redo the background in the Ponyville chaos scene, its kinda pixled out, and I'm not getting as much as I'd want so a bit more tweaking...

And well I finally got this image out of the way so I can work on a scary image of my OC encountering King Sombra. But I wanted a proper pic of Nights Hoopla with Lightning Bliss and here it is!

I've been plagued with wanting to do that image for awhile, but I couldn't fully picture the scene, the drama, the terror... I needed motivation or if you will, 'insperation', to which I finally got when I saw a fan made vid of the Princess Sisters battling Sombra. Finally I found the right tone and got it together hehe. It took me a few months but its finally here!

Well... It's hard to teach without physically being in front of you to talk, display and 'show' my techniques. Prehaps I should consider making a youtube video displaying what are my methods for creating these pieces of art?

 

I guess I could say this though as tips or 'lessons'.

 

1. You need to have some art skilll, and determination, and most importantly, passion for it

 

2. If you get an idea clear in your mind, get it on paper soon as possible. It doesn't matter if you mess up on it 5, 10 or even a 100 times, if you have an idea, jot it down on paper.

 

3. Remember that alot of my images start as drawings, they are scan, or in my case 'photographed' then uploaded to my Adobe Flash program, to be cleaned, and colored. I sometimes load them into Photoshop or After Effects to give off more atmospheric effects.

Hehe well I'm glad I still got my stuff despite the stressful month. But now that I'm feeling a bit better I decided to join another gala RP. So here's my new OC's gala attire.

 

She's got makeup and her crown, but I decided to give her a tarp or scarf to wear too.

 

And this is another piece I did about a week ago. I got insperation from an OC that is owned by member when I was having some stressful times due to personal family issues. Long story short, I wanted to blow off some steam, by challenging Vitani's OC, "Hurricane" to a race since she likes to challenge alicorns. So here it is! Thanks again Vitani for letting me post your OC with my OC!

This is my OC and what she would look like in a steampunk universe. She's actually a naughty little pony who makes pouty faces to get her way, in the steampunk world, she'd be known as Blissy Tinker!
