RD and Daring Do the same?

Ok, correct me if I am wrong, and you have the right to hate me, but to me, they made RD and Daring Do way to similar.

 

I don't know if the writers meant to do this, but please hear me out

1. RD and Daring Do have the same mane style. This isn't really a big bother, but I wish when they first introduced Daring Do, they could of made her mane style a little different but instead they made it exactly the same as RD just different colors. Same with the eyes

 

2. Personality. Daring Do was a little more rough but that's about it. They both felt like the same ponies mostly due to the personality.

 

So, I just wished they made Daring Do have a little bit of a different mane style, and maybe a different eye color, and maybe a change of personality, mostly because they feel like the same ponies, and it sort of bothered me.

Their mane styles look the same just with different colors, different eye colors, and their personality is something that I'm still trying to figure out. Daring Do has some trust issues, we can see why and some point down the road she'll be able to trust some ponies. Rainbow Dash has a arrogant, brash, but being that her Element is Loyalty she is able to trust any of her friends. That's just me.

Tell you the truth, I think she's almost a foil to Rainbow Dash. Just look at the way she constantly denied Rainbow Dash's help, a stark contrast to the loyal RD that we all know and love. Of course, she does have an adventurous side, but that's not for adventure's sake, but for a real cause. Also worth noting is how she never really exalted herself, rather, used her A.K. Yearling alias to fly under the radar.

Well, Daring Do was originally supposed to be a fictional character who is just like Rainbow Dash, so that's probably why she bears such a resemblance to Dashie. The exact same design is meant to physically show their similarity I suppose. When they decided to turn Daring into a real pony in Equestria, I guess they realized that it would be kind of awkward since she and Dashie look exactly the same minus the colors and cutie mark, but decided to go along with the plan anyway. It's pretty trippy, but I kind of like it :3

To be honest, I thought the first time we saw Daring Do, It was Rainbow imagining that it was her...but that's just my two cents...Unless we can see the cover of that first book had a picture.
