planning Need some help with a somewhat dark RP

Hey everypony, I had an idea for an RP I wanted to start, but this is my first time. So, I had in mind some sort of dark fantasy thing with a focus around a heavy metal band of some sort. The band would have to stop this event (dead rising, armies of demons?) from happening, but all the while discovering the true  meaning of their music. Sound good so far? It will be story-driven, action packed and the like, but I also want to include some sort of minor romance. Like I said before, this is my first RP. Let me know what you think here. Also, could someone please help and be a second DM? Or at least teach me how to be a proper DM. Thank you everyone!

Yeah I'm interested. Now, when you say the band needs to " stop this event " then bracketed dead rising and armies of demons, are you talking something similar to those games happening? In the rp? And the band needs to stop them from happening?

 

I'm just trying to understand everything here ^^;

By the brackets, I'm meaning what sort of event will happen, the one they are trying to stop. I'm not referring to the games at all.
