I was advised to simplify the cutie marks of my OCs, being told they are too complex. If you have any ideas for such please go ahead and offer them. Also I was asked to consider for Golden Dawn to have a picture made where his mane and tail is not blowing in the wind. Honestly I never put too much thought in mane and tail designs so if you have ideas please go ahead and suggest them.

Mythos Gray
Description: A travelling storyteller and entertainer from Canterlot, having lived the life of an elite though more open to fun and excitement. Has a love of stories and seeks out ore on Equestria's past. Ponies need be weary of his charm and his use of manipulation though, especially mares. Also does what some could call ‘shady business’ on the side gathering information on others.

Cutie Mark:

Stardream
Description:A young mare from adopted and raised in Manehatten, whose special talent is that of a seer with her means to communicate with the stars. She often lacks confidence, especially in her gift as she is still learning to interpret and understands what she learns from the stars and in her dream. Has history with Mythos this ended badly, largely because of his behavior and activities.

Golden Dawn
Description: A young royal guard fresh from the Academy, having joined before Luna’s return and with an unwavering loyalty to Celestia because of the stories told to him by his father about the princess’s actions of wisdom and care towards her subjects. Because of this he often speaks in reverence and devotion involving the royal sisters, especially the eldest and can often be overly serious.

Hmm, perhaps... what would you suggest for simplifying the design of my OCs cutiemark and the manestyles of Mythos Gray and Golden Dawn?

I find when it comes to Cutie Marks, reducing noise is very important. I used to have a very detailed Cutie mark, of a sprouted leaf, on a stem, in the earth. It just overwhelmed the rest of the drawing. now I have a very simplified version. I'll include sketched of what each one looked like.

As far as Mythos Grey goes, you can cut the text off the left page, people will still know it's a book. And the dragon doesn't need so many tendrils and spikes. a small wingy lizard would get the point across, if it's breathing fire.

In StarDream's case, the problem I think you're having with regards to Cutie Mark is that that is a HUMAN eye. Doesn't look quite right on a pony's flank.

I really like Golden Dawn's character design, although I stand by what I said. Less is more on a Cutie Mark. One ghost might be a better idea than like, 5. and less stratification on the sunbeams would cut more noise from it.

All the stories you have are spot on. Yet again, I really enjoyed Golden Dawn. Reminds me of my boyfriend's OC. Anyhoo, Keep it up, and keep posting
