Grell lifted the filly and walked out found midnight and the civilians "hey midnight you missed a filly " grell said he was about to move rosey when he seen she fell asleep on his back

Midnight giggled, stroking her mane with her hoof. "What's this adorable little girl's name??"

 

Luna smiled, snuggling close. "I love you, too, Steel..." She looked at him, rubbing her nose on his.

 

Lunar continued to drink, awake now. She was still weak, however. She coughed, looking like she was running a fever.

Steel smiled happily he seen equinox and punched him hard "don't ever disrespect Luna like that again " steel growled the him then went back to hugging Luna

Grell used his magic to put rosey on midnight "it's rosey she was terrified I gotta get back to my post " grell said

Equinox laid on the ground holding his nose. "Ow...that really hurt" He said as he got back up. "But I deserved it" He added to what he said as he checked to see if his nose was bleeding. "Okay it's not bleeding...just hurts really badly" He said to himself as he backed away from Steel and Luna

Midnight blinked. "Why don't you come with us and grab a little something to eat in the mess hall? If Steel says anything, I can shut him up for you. I've known him my whole life."

 

Luna blinked, frowning. She booped Steel on the head. "Quit being mean." She pouted cutely.

Grell sighed "I would but I take my job serious and I won't just blow it off to eat " grell said as he pulled out an apple and munched on it

Steel shrugged "he deserved it even he said it "steel said then he realized that he seen them kiss he turned to him "you say anything about me and Luna it'll be the last thing you say "

"I deserved it though" Equinox said still feeling pain but ignores it. "Now if I may I guess I should leave now" He said as he started to walk away and out of the building. "Get some ice also since that hit stung like hell" He thought to himself as he. "Don't worry your secret is safe with me" Equinox said

Midnight frowned. "But we have a whole lot of apples Luna brought in..."

 

Luna giggled, pecking him. She was happy she finally kissed him. She knew it was weird, a thousand plus year old pony dating a fresh adult, but hey. It works.

Grell sighed "I know most are for me but like I said I can't abandon my post midnight" grell said as he ate his apple

Rosey woke up and used her magic to teleport onto grell and snuggled into his back "please let me stay with you sir" rosey said

Grell smiled "I suppose you can and im grell "

Midnight huffed. -Master, please send a thought to Grell telling him to go hang... I want to hang out with him...-

 

Luna did so; she knew Midnight wanted to try and impress him. -Grell, I have Steel here. I know you're a knight, but you can have a life. Go socialize with Midnight. I don't care if you have a life. I can talk to Steel. He will understand.- she thought to him.

Grell sighed "using Luna to make me do something is the best way to get on my bad side " grell said then he thought at Luna "maybe I don't want to go hang out with her Luna maybe I'd rather do my job or tend to the dead " in truth grell did want to hang out with her but what she did wasn't cool, rosey snuggled up on his back

Steel sighed "we should get ready Celestia is sending assassins I think it's time we mounted an attack on her " steel said

Midnight's ears lowered. -Forget it... He hates me...- She lowered her head and started walking off, tears in her eyes. She didn't think he'd not like her; she had such a strong feeling he did. In fact, she still felt that feeling.

 

Luna sighed, looking at Steel. "Why did you have to make Grell so emotionless, babe? He's still young and obviously has a crush, but is putting it aside. I understand this is a war, but he could still be a LITTLE normal..." She started walking down the stairs, her ears a little low. -Having such a young pony so rigid and emotionless... I never wanted that...-

Steel sighed and flew over to her "I never intended for him to be like Luna, but I did what my grandfather did " steel said bitterly

grell sighed and used magic to teleport in front of her and wiped away her tears "relax I'm not worth the tears trust me " grell said he turned to walk away planning to go workout

Rosey nudged him and whispered "hey you like her don't you " rosey said

Midnight was still teary eyed, walking away from Grell. Her tail was limp and her ears flat. -I guess I really am forever alone...-

 

Luna sighed. "I know, I know. I'm just saying, I don't like this. He's so young and you have him fearing to be a normal teenage stallion because you might 'punish' him again..." She looked up at her night sky, watching the stars.

"Iv punished him once when he defied a direct order from you that's it " steel said as he looked up "I'll talk to him but in the meantime we should really plan for the war Luna just staying here waiting for her to attack us will get us nowhere "

Grell walked to the gym and began punching on the bag rosey hoped down and ran off in search for midnight

Midnight sat by the door of the mess hall, guarding it as the ponies ate. Her eyes were low and ears were flat; her head was also lowered. She didn't look like the confident pony she was 5 seconds ago.

 

Luna frowned. "Will you quit worrying? We still need to assign our captains of each section. We're having a new meeting tomorrow with just Stormwing, Equinox and Desdemona."

Steel sighed he couldn't help it he was a warrior at heart and he wasn't one to sit idle during war "ok Luna I'll try " steel said

Grell went to the ring and put on sparing gear and begins sparring with some stallion

Rosey found midnight "miss can I speak with you " rosey asked as she bowed

Luna walked inside the castle. "Once we assign the ponies to their positions, we will start training. We don't need to rush. The war has just started. And this intel Equinox gave me made it even surer that we will win."

 

Midnight looked up at the little filly. "Yes, sweetie...?"

Steel followed close behind still really happy about the kiss "ok Luna you are going to eat tonight right " steel asked he knew Luna skipped meals but he wasn't sure why

Grell easily beat the stallion he was sparing and another two jumped in

Rosey looked up "he likes you " was all rosey said

Midnight let out a small laugh. "You don't have to lie to spare my feelings. He hates my guts. I know he does. All I wanted to do was show him a good time, and he got mad at me for it..." She ruffled Rosey's hair. "Thank you for your concern, though."

 

Luna shook her head. "I have paperwork I need to attend to," she answered, her stomach growling. She ignored it, as usual.

Steel sighed "okay I guess ill just eat all alone then "steel said his head dropping as he turned to the dining room in the castle

Rosey sighed "I'm not trying to spare your feelings I asked him he said yes he doesn't hate you and he told you why he got mad " rosey said

Luna frowned. "Fine. I'll eat with you, but in return, you must give me one back rub before we lay down for the night." They were in the hall by themselves, so they could talk freely here.

 

Midnight looked away. "Sweetheart, I'm sorry, but I can't believe it if he has you say it instead of him..."

Steelnodded happily "deal " steel said happy his plan worked plus he didn't mind giving Luna backrubs all she had to do was ask

Grell easily beat the two stallions two more climbed up as well as the ones he beat so he was fighting five grell smiled hoping for a challenge

Rosey sighed and got in midnights face "he doesn't know he went to the gym and I hopped down and came to find you " rosey said

Midnight sighed. "But how in the the world am I suppose to get him to actually want to hang out with me? All he cares about is this guard crap..."

 

Luna huffed, then smiled, ruffling his hair. "You know, sometimes you are just too cure for your own good. You know that?"

Steel smiled and shrugged my "I suppose that's true " steel said as he once again fixed his mane he let Luna get away with stuff he thought he'd never allow someone to do

Grell fought hard and beat the stallions " and thats why I'm Luna's dark knight " grell said moving over to the dumbbells

rosey sighed "he takes his job seriously I guess you gotta get on his playing field he's at the gym working out right now" rosey said "maybe you could get him to train you or something "
