Hey guys, this may only apply to those who live in Australia or New Zealand, but for all those on BroniesAustralia Forums what do you think about it?

Like I said in the "Any bronies from Australia?" thread I like it there. Sure it's not the best design but there are still some great people. Sure there are some assholes there but show me a forum that has 0.

While I have made many friends on there, sadly the amount of trolls and bucked up moderators/admins outnumber the amount of decent people on there. The guys from the Melbourne group were awesome, and a few from NSW and WA, but other than that... I wish I didn't donate to that crappy forum. Waste of money (even if it was only like 10$)

And that is speaking from personal experiences, I've gotten numerous warning points for really stupid things. Like saying something on my mind, and one of the mods (mostly ones like Porcupine) go "oh I don't agree with what you're saying, 50 points!"

Also as I mentioned in the other thread, most of the mods/admin there are immature little teenagers who have no idea what it is like to be responsible, not to mention they abuse their authoritative powers far too often (well they shouldn't abuse them at all, but they still do it, a LOT!)

 

Where-as the staff here, are like a gazillion times better! They are fair, understanding, and they actually CARE about the members here!

I have never heard of that forum before. This is the only forum i use. But, judging by what you guys are saying, it didn't sound like a really good website. I am assuming that this one is better?

I have never heard of that forum before. This is the only forum i use. But, judging by what you guys are saying, it didn't sound like a really good website. I am assuming that this one is better?

This one easily has a better layout but still check it out and head to a few WA meetups. Haven't spoke to many WA bronies but the one's I have seem nice ^^

I actually made this thread because the other one got locked.

 

But yeah, I was only on there for a couple of days and I met a few people, but I never got to see any of the real action. But really put me off was that it was really under developed compared to this one, it was really jarring to me so I could continue going through it. Though from time to time I like to check the meetup thing to see if anything pops up in WA for me to attend

It could just be me, but I fear most of the staff and a fair few members on there have a personal vendetta against me for no reason at all, except for the fact I used to post somethings without thinking them through in the past, and even when I regretted it like 10 minutes later, it was too late.

 

Where-as I had been on there since early last year. So nearly two years.

It's an ordeal to navigate sometimes but check it out now. There are a few pre and post Xmas meetups in discussion.

Fair enough, unfortunately I've had to deal with assholes constantly so I decided to leave, which would have saddened me, but it was for the best and I have most of my 'friends' from there on facebook.

uploading stuff is a real hassle i personally find that really annoying though i think on here it's the same not sure but it feels quicker to upload here than there
