gaming PS4 / inbox chat room confusion...

So something strange happened to me. I turned on my PS3 and I see that I have new messages. I go to check them and I see that my inbox is flooded with messages that have nothing to do with me. The messages centered around PS4 chat room confusion.

 

My PS3 got all the messages from a PS4 chat room.

 

Does anybody know why this happened? Has this happened to anyone else or am I the only one?

Hmm that is strange I have no idea why that would happen. Maybe it's a glitch within the PSN servers. I know that PSN on PS4 is having some problems at the moment. Sorry I don't have an explanation for ya. I don't have a PS4 myself.

That's fine. It's just strange that my inbox filled up with a conversation that I had nothing to do with. It has stopped, but it still confuses me.

This has happened a few times to me as well. Not sure what causes it, but it is annoying. :/

Yep, happened to me as well. And the chat came with ponies too, straight to my inbox.

Holy crap this just happened to me today! Now I know what your talking about. I added someone from the forum and they have a PS4 and I don't and when I went to log in to my PS3 I got bombarded by a stack of messages from a conversation he was having with other PS4 users. Like I said before, probably just a glitch within the servers.^^
