Grell nodded "yeah when I mediate I can leave my body that's the only way to touch a soul unless they have managed to breach the wall nI which case it's referred to as a haunting by normal ponies I know it as a breach" grell said

Sapphire looked at auron, tilting her head "Heh, I think i would still be a live pony then dead..." She sat down and yawned, then looked to grell "Thats crazy, I wish you could teach me...Eh, oh well, guess ill just have to be normal like every other pony" She chuckled and looked happy

Runedawn was not even surprised when he saw even cadence hadn't escaped this horrible fate. It only reassured hin of the unlikelyhood of HIM escaping it... Of anypony escaping it. He noticed he still had the rune of force on him, and did fhe only thing he thought to be respectable at the moment. He swunf his hammer at cadence's statue, hoping to free her dead body from this shameful display. He didn't care what North Wind would do, since he couldn't even think about any consequences at the moment. He was way too emotional.

But in mid swing, he stopped his hammer. This wasn't the answer either. He dropled it and a single tear came down his cheeck. "Hurry up and give me somethin' to do. I can't stand to look at this place, or you!" He yelled at North Wind as he busted into the throne room...

North Wind chuckled at Runedawn's emotional display, though he was somewhat disappointed that the stallion had reigned in his anger and not smashed the statues that he had so purposefully positioned.

 

The throne room that Runedawn burst into was empty accept for ice statues in guard armor. North wind's chuckle turn turning into a cruel laugh, "the princess is napping up in the royal bed chamber. But don't worry I'll give you something to occupy your time." With that there were cracking noises behind North Wind and throughout the chamber. The frozen guard statue's heads turned eyes glowing with individually colored auras.

 

"Take everything from him, put him in the dungeons. Break him." A blue and pink aura each take hold of Runedawn's limbs yanking against him, and pulling to strip him of his possessions. Behind North Wind the frozen ice remains of Shining Armor and Cadence stepped through the huge doors cruel looks on their faces but still their own auras glowed in their dead ice eyes.

Auron laughed " I've forgotten what's it's like to be alive my time has Long since passed" auron said

Grell half smiled "there actually is a way I could teach you bit it would envolve a ritaul that takes time and true dedication from both parties to complete" grell said

Runedawn felt himself lose power of his own body. Magic took over as he was floating helplesly in the air. "You sadist bastard you!" He yelled as he tried to move a muscle, but clouldn't. As he was dragged to the dungeons, he couldn't help but scream. "You darn insane royals wont know what'll hit you when you give me my hammer!" He purposely yelled at the thoughtless statues. "What are you going to do? Torture me? I can take pain and I have nothing to lose! What are you going to do?!" He kept screaming and struggling. There was no escape. He was scared, but he wouldn't let them notice it.

Steel looked up hearing willow gebhadnt noticeed that Luna was awake hebwalked uber to her and saluted the shoulder piece still had the lunar sysmbol on it "I need to speak you my lady when you have the time" steel said sounding very formal

Grell smiled "you just have to be determined to help and respect the dead you have to want it in your heart" grell said

Auron smiled "you are right um what is your name" auron asked

Sapphire blushed and looked at auron "My name is sapphire, its nice to meet you" She then looked back at grell "Ok, then let us do it"

 

Embers took out a coin and started fliping it "gah.....were is some food when you need it?" He sighed and chuckled as steel talked to luna

Grell shook his head (oh btw auron is black and white with silver eyes his main body is black the accent is white and his has a her faint bluish glow) "not until you can easily and quickly tell the diffrence between a soul and a real pony evey soul looks like the would in life but try have a very faint blue glow" grell said

Sapphire smiled and looked from greel to auron "Sure, whenever is fine with me, just tell me" She got to her hoofs and winked at auron "See you around!" She then started walking off

 

Embers sighed and started righting in his pad, he had no idea what to do anymore

Cadence's hoof was light on Runedawn's chest holding him down as Shining Armor secured him in chains, but the way it moved was to be soothing, though it lacked the true warmth of a living thing. She spoke in the kind voice of the princess of love, "you shouldn't fight this, North Wind is just giving the world new purpose."

 

Shining Armor's voice was encouraging, "Yeah, the world is already dead, he's just trying to make sure that everyone comes to terms with it. We all died, why do you think you or any of the survivors are special?"

 

Cadence ran her icy hoof up Runedawn's neck, "just give in, it's not so bad being cold... Giving up on warmth and light..." there was a longing in her voice. "At least you get to keep on living."

 

Armor was chewing his lip guiltily, "besides it's not really like we have a choice in what we're doing, we're his now. And you don't really have a choice either, your his now too, the whole world is his." He sounded utterly defeated by what he was saying.

 

The hoof on his neck became a claw, "sorry about this, I really am, it's going to be really bad but it will help you. With him inside you than you'll understand how useless fighting against us is." The tips of the claw becoming needles puncturing into his neck, Runedawn felt the cold push under his skin. It was so cold it burned, and he felt the cold spread through him as if ice water was being pushed into his veins. As it spread so did the horrible burning pain made worse by the numbness it left behind as if all warmth was being driven from his body.

 

He felt it circle in him, pushing through every inch of his body down from his neck and at last his heart. After the pain of his body had faded and everything had become numb, only then did the next horror reveal itself. The icy flow spread up now from his next pushing into his skull, drilling into his brain. Once in his mind it began to force visions upon him, visions of the future that North Wind dreamed of, visions of Runedawn's worst nightmares brought to life. All the darkness and horrors of his mind ran wild and Runedawn was lost in this not knowing what might be lasting merely seconds or hours.

 

(Sorry I was focused on Scribblegroove's stuff for a bit, getting back to the group in the next post)

Willow wrapped a hug around Luna. All she wanted for them to be a family again. Celestia was probably looking down with a big smile on her face. If only she were here. "Mom, when this started, where did Celestia go? What happened... because maybe she is still here somewhere... and we can find her..."Crystal's face lit up. 《Really? The world is bigger then I thought! But what are caribou?》She looked at the maps, imagining what all these places could look like.

Luna looked to Crystal Flower who was busy listening to Wanderlust and kept her voice low so that the younger of the two wouldn't hear, "I'm sorry Willow but she's gone... What-whatever it was that over took her, whatever that sickness was she was burning apart like a phoenix at the end. It didn't hurt her but it was light she was full of fire inside and was barely keeping it in." Luna's voice was trembling as she told Willow, "she waited till the last second to teleport me down here, she-" Luna caught herself unable to continue, "...she's gone."

 

Wanderlust was busy trying to explain what caribou were to Flower, "well they are a lot like big ponies with really thick brown fur and they have horns like unicorns, only they are called antlers and they have two horns on each side of their head like a Minotaur except they also branch out into a bunch of smaller horns..." He sighed this was hard to explain than he had expected and decided to pull out a notebook and show her the drawings he had made of the different lands he had been to and flipped quickly to a crude sketch of a caribou.

 

"Um, Mom? I really have a bad feeling about Runedawn. I'm pretty sure he went to the Crystal Empire to find the Sun Shard. I'm worried about him. Can we, um... can we go to the Crystal Empire? I know you are tired, and I would never want to make you even more tired. So, can we start heading there?"

Luna was distracted, her eyes were distant as if focusing on following something. "I think you're right. He did go to the crystal empire... And now none of you need to go there at all. He hit the shard, he moved it somehow. He moved it really far too." She was amazed at what had happened to the sun shard. "I think he hit the shard clear into Ponyville and if it's in Ponyville than it's close to the other shard in Froggy bottom bogg. You should all go and collect the two of them, I'm not sure if the shard being flung like it was will go unnoticed." She hugs Willow close, "and I am tired Willow, very very tired. That's why I can't go with you and Flower, I can't travel with you and keep the sun strong. I have to stay here and protect Equestria from the cold and dark that will come if the moon were to lose any of my magic. But you have all these strong ponies to watch over you. You'll be strong and careful for me right?" Tears were in her eyes and she was on the edge of openly breaking into weeping.

(@ if you want to have a scene with Luna before Steel came over we can finish it and say he showed up after, or we can have it he interrupted and while Luna was having a moment with you, she still understands the importance of dealing with the more shady matters of being a ruler. Hard to ignore one of the most lethal known assassins walking up and saying he needs to talk )

 

"Stained Steel" Luna nodded respectfully at Steel, "I..." she looked down uncertainly at Willow, "Uh, Willow, you'll have to excuse me for a second. Go make sure that your sister is alright and not getting too taken in by that vagabonds stories." She stood and used her wing to shoo Willow towards Wanderlust and Crystal Flower.

 

Looking at Steel, "let's walk a little, best not to discuss our business around the others..." She lead steel out of the cave and up onto a castle wall.

"If I was attacked by a determined enough foe than I would die. But don't underestimate my position, the crystal cave I am hiding in is the panic room of the castle, your group was only able to find me because my girls were with you. The crystal door only opens for those who don't mean me harm and the crystal are specifically arranged to amplify an alicorns power, that's why I've been able to keep the planet warm at all." She looked up staring at her moon a sad look on her face, "but your concern is greatly appreciated Steel... But I'm not who you should worry about... I have a very important mission for you."

"To protect Winter Willow and Crystal Flower in their search for the sun shards, should you accept this mission you will be facing some of the darkest and most vile things that exist in this world. I'm asking you to be willing to sacrifice everything for them, to be willing to sacrifice anyone for them, to die for them if that need ever should arise." Luna was somber and stared Steel in the face while explaining to drive the point home of how serious this mission was.

 

"I wouldn't be sending you on the mission without my support though, I can cast a spell on you that will allow for you to be in contact with me when you need to and will allow me to see and hear through you. Furthermore I put a spell on the filly's while curing them of the shock of the sun shard, it is a powerful teleportation spell. If things get too bad all you would have to do is let me know and I can activate it and the two of them and anyone within 10 feet of them will teleport back to the crystal cave." Luna stood tall in front of steel trying to look as regal as she could with her reduced appearance, "can you accomplish this mission Stained Steel?"

Embers rested his head in his book, then slowly looked around, he could see a few other ponys sleeping and steel and luna talking

Luna nodded and leaned forward touching her horn to his forehead, light flared in his head and he momentarily went blind, when his vision cleared he still saw spots. Luna was staring at him, and he heard her voice in his head, 'it's done, I've linked my mind to yours. Should you need me call out with your thoughts and I will be there to answer.'

 

She turned and started back into the castle and toward the cave, she started to speak aloud again, "do you have anything else to ask me? Otherwise I believe it is best your group departs, dark forces gather against you and every second we delay is time they will use against us."
