Astrid looked into willows eyes and they turned purple causing a shap pain to shoot through willow head "I will never trust you" Astrid said "never" she Was still crying but that didn't bother her she loved steel and because of these ponies he died

Willow winced and stumbled several steps back, but she kept her hold on Astrid. She closed her eyes and looked down, and the reddish aura surrounding both of them turned blue, and then white. A voice sounded in Astrid's head. "Why? Why do you hate me so much? You saw your daddy throw the knife at Grell. You saw him use that magic, while I stood there." It was Willow's voice, and she slowly looked up at Astrid.a

Astrid heard her " because you hated him and you didn't try and stop that stallion from hurting him" Astrid yelled she tried to move but couldn't she growled at willow "let me go" Astrid yelled she was only getting madder the longer she struggled

Sapphire stared at the two fillys "Please...stop fighting, we can save both of them..." She looked down at grell, she was still crying

 

Embers sighed and stumbled once more, falling to the side "Why do you have to make this so hard stupid filly? WE CAN STILL SAVE YOUR DAD!"

"I couldn't have done anything! But you know what you could have done!?" "If Grell was alive, fixing the spell wouldb have been easy, for every spell there is an anti-spell, which Grell would have known, but because you decided to be an idiot and kill him, you made things worse. See!?"

Sapphire looked down at grell, then up to willow "Willow, He still is somewhat alive, please...I need you" She mumbled as she cryed

 

Embers sat there, not moving because he was losing blood, and fast. He sighed and looked around "Alright, Guess are whole party can die due to 1 little filly"

Astrid lost her fight and just cried ignoring the others not caring what they had to say she just wished they would die they just didn't understand her pain and they never would she was sobbing now and trying to get to steels body but couldn't because of willows magic

Willow let go of Astrid and crumpled to the ground. "Go. Go to your daddy." She sighed and rolled over onto her stomach. "Ouch..." Willow blinked back more tears, the air was heavy with sadness, it surrounded her in its black clouds. They churned and boiled, trapping light inside of them and then letting it go in small flashes like storm clouds.

Astrid ran over to steels body weeping she thought about what willow had said about the counter spell grell would have knirw she got up and walked over to grells body her eyes turned purple as she looked into grells eyes she learned the spell but wasn't strong enough to do it she walked up to willow and liked I to her eyes sending her the spell allowing willow to learn it "save my daddy" Astrid said tears streaming down her face

Embers sighed and let his face hit the dirt around him, He looked down, knowing full well he might die. But it wouldnt matter, because willow was still alive, and that was ALL that matterd now, is that she went on with her quest, and saved the rest of the world, not like he cared

Astrid liked at the stallion and grabbed grells med kit and walked over to embers "don't make me regret helping you" Astrid said as she began sewing him up she had figured out his to when she was liking though grells mind trying to find the spell to save steel

Embers tryed to get away "Dont, Use it on somepony who will matter, like willow" He winced as he crawled away "Ill be fine, I dont need it, even if I die, you saw what I do here, its all I can do, fight" He sighed and looked up at the stars, his eyes turned glazy and he looked down

Astrid grabbed him with her magic and forced him to stay still while she sewed him up she was still crying hopin that willow could really save her daddy with out him there's no telling where she would have been by now she loved him and couldn't bear the thought if losing him

Embers sighed and went limp, he looked up at astrid "Why help me? Why?" He put his face into the dirt, then looked over at willow "Dont worry, she knows her magic, she should be able to save both of them" He smiled as he looked up at the filly, who wasnt all that bad

Astrid looked at him "I'm saving you because from that stallions memories your the only other true fighter so if she can't save my daddy you'll be needed" Astrid said she looked him her crying had subsided for the moment "I hope she does save both of them that way I can kill that one again" Astrid said she now had abut king hatred for grell

Embers smiled "Thats nice...Kinda like how I would think, to bad i dont think...Anyways, It was fun meeting you, I know you and steel will most likely leave, but it would be nice to have a new face around here" He smiled and stumbled ot his feet, looking down at astrid "Grells a good pony, so leave him be"

Astrid looked at him "he killed my daddy " Astrid said "and I don't care if we leave here or not with Luna you ponies should be fine may have some trouble without daddy but you'll be fine that is if you stop acting insane when you're not that will lead to problems"

Embers sighed and looked down at her "Its true I was acting a little out of it, But I am feeling wierd" He smiled and looked around "You to should be fine, you have some good skills" He winced as he tryed to walk "You would make for a good kid, And im happy that steel is your dad"

She liked at him "I am a good kid that's why I fought you, you was trying to hurt my daddy and you had to be stopped" Astrid said "is there anything you could teach me" Astrid asked she loved to learn and with her apical ability ahe could learn at great speeds

Embers eye twiched "No, I cant teach you, I dont know much fighting as it is, I never really had anything real to teach me, just some old books" He sighed and sat down, looking over at her "Im not a real fighter, I was never trained. All my fighting was by myself or by books"

"I'm sorry, I can't do anything. *sigh* One of the downsides is that when I use magic, this happens. I'm too tired to do anything, I can't even stand up." The sadness still hung in the air, whispering, surrounding her in its black depths. "And I have a bit of a problem here. Oh no..." she muttered.

Embers walked over to willow, wincing as he did. "Uh willow...You dont look so good, do you need sleep? Because you can have plenty of that...whats wrong? what problem?" He sighed and looked at her "Uh...You can still save steel and grell right?" He sighed "sorry, Ill let you get some sleep"

Astrid did the one thing she was taught to do when she was fighting with steel a spell that gave enrgey and stamina she charged her horn and cast it in willow "that should give you your energey back please save him" Astrid said she was in the verge of crying again

"I'm not sure if this will work..." she slowly stood up, wobbling. "I feel sick..." she muttered under her breath. Willow spread her wings and slowly flew to Astrid. Willow dropped to the ground and sunk to her knees in front of Steel, one of her wings half-spread. It glowed with a million colors of light and slowly enveloped Willow's body. "Ohhh..." then the light faded into nothing and Willow fell to one side. "We need Melody."
