Wanderlust looked over towards Whisper his face a little hard and doubtful, but after a few seconds he decided she seemed to be herself again and his expression softened and he gave her a small smile. But he didn't call out to her, instead he leaped on to the sailboat he had been inspecting, it was still tethered to the harbor wall and only rocked slightly as he landed.

 

"This one is a little small, but I think it is the best we'll find for the job." He disappeared below deck to checkout the cabin, and yelled back out to the others, "we'll have to sleep in shifts and their are only two bunks but with the right winds and sea currents everyone should only need to sleep twice." He stuck is head out from the cabin grinning, "no leaks and the sails are all down here, we should be able to leave as soon as we want."

Luna just smiled at Astrid still saying nothing; she could tell the filly had some serious potential but she wasn't impressed yet. She forced Astrid from her mind suddenly and forcefully and prepared a medium level wall around her thought, 'that was good I didn't even notice you at first, never break a barrier if you don't have to, it let's others know you're abilities.' She was confident that Astrid could still reach this thought.

Astrid examined the mental block and after a few seconds got around it she sat In Luna's mind for a moment looking for the link to steels once she found it she attached a link to it so she could get to steels mind then -I'm in and I thought so-Astrid said

Steel took flight and landed on the boat "alright I'll let Luna know" steel said "I'll be back soon wit the others" steel called as he flew to the group

Lightwing was more worried about the spear than ever.She started to see weird things since she used it for the first time,and now she could swore that it was alive.There was only 1 way to end with this...

She poked the spear

"Are...Are you alive,spear?"

She knew that she was going crazy,but...It was harder to go as Embers.

On that moment,the spear seemed to respond,and the pike started to spark,as if it wanted to talk to her

Embers looked around, he had no idea where he had walked, at first he had thought that he was following steel to go find grell, but he must have lost him and now he had no idea where he was going. He yawned and looked around, looking over at him sword, then to the area around him

Lightwing's spear flashed a couple more times but it gave her no other response, there was no voice in her head or any indication that it was intelligent.

 

Famine however did respond, she was talking and Embers could hear it but it didn't seem to be directed at him. "D-d-don't you tell me to s-shut up! O-oh please like you ever even d-do anything! You're t-t-too stuck up to let your w-wielded even know what they're h-h-handling. I-I do not talk too m-m-much! No! I won't t-tell her anything, you t-talk to her yourself-f-f!" She then made a raspberry sound. "F-fine stay q-quiet then!"

Steel made it to the group "Luna we've found a boat wonder grell and whisper are there waiting for us" steel said he didnt notice that Astrid had a cutie mark or did he

Astrid heard steel and smiled she teleported to his back "let's go then daddy" Astrid said

Lightwing saw how the spear emited flashes,but nothing more...

"Maybe i'm driving crazy after all,hehe...just like Embers"

She watches how Embers is "Talking" to his sword,and then she came near him

Embers glanced over at @@Lightwing, , then back down at his sword. He winked at his sword and looked around "Well, Im guessing that were going to go find a boat, I think we needed to go to the griffin empire or something" He said with a shake of his head as he looked around

Lightwing started to look through the place,trying to find a boat

"Hmmmm...Where can we find a boat?"

Then,she saw a boat near a house,and then she flew next to it

"Gotch...Oh no,it's broken..."

She points to a hole

"We need something to fix it..."

Luna nodded, "okay," she let out a sigh, "off to the griffin kingdom it is then, I only hope that they have held together better than Equestria; if the griffins have no law and order to restrain them it could be very dangerous." She looked over at Shadow and saw the sun shard at his hoof, "I had thought Wanderlust was holding on to that shard." She examined the stallions face, "good to know someone more responsible is watching over it." She started walking toward the harbor.

Wanderlust continued to ready the boat, he felt a bit awkward being next to Whisper now and didn't really know what to say about what had happened. He'd tell her he was sorry it had happened to her but deer where so close to nature maybe she thought it was a good thing, maybe she welcomed being a puppet to that deity thing... He knew he was being bitter and unfair about the nature magic now and it was no reason to be angry at her for what the nature deity had said to him while she controlled Willow's body but he couldn't help himself... He let out a heavy sigh.

 

He had dragged the heavy sail on to the ships deck and fed the sail edge into it's feed, then started to pull a rope with his mouth. The sail started to rise until it tangled and jammed in the feed, he sighed again and looked to Whisper. "Could you help me a little with this?" He gestured to wear the sail edge went into the feed, "I need the sail to go in evenly as I pull so the sail will rise smoothly."

A deep, rich and self assured voice spoke into Lightwing's head, "I can't believe I actually have to speak with someone as uncouth as you... You're really not that bright or ambitious are you, content to walk behind a group as a follower and beside a mad pony to play romantic with, pathetic." The voice had been loud, though no one else could hear it and seemed to come from everywhere, at the same time their was no obvious place it originated from.

Embers looked over at grell and grinned "Alrighty, lets go find it then" He said with a laugh as he looked down at his sword with a huge smile on his face. He then followed grell with a grin "Hey hey hey grell, do you remember when you were beating the heck out of me?"

Lightwing heard somepony saying all those things.She could notice that he was near,but,where?...Without any option left,she screamed to the wind,hoping that the mysterious entity could hear her

"Are you hearing me,whoever you are???Because i have a couple things to tell you!.First of all,i'm not uncouth!!!And second,i'm not pathetic!!!"

She screamed to the wind,with both Grell and Embers watching her

Grell looked at embers "yeah I do remember and I also remember you brought it upon yourself by just stabbing steel with out saying a word" grell said of embers tried to fight he was ready then whisper yelled he liked at her confused "there's nopony here but us"

Lightwing started to look around herself,and Grell was right.There wasn't more ponies than them

"Hmm...What's happwning with me?First I start to see inexistent things,and now I hear imaginary voices..."

She tried to clean her mind from all those thoughts,and then she talked again with Grell

"What's the next step on the plan?"

Grell walked over to her "our plan is to get on the boat and ride It to the griffin kingdom and maybe it was your spear it could be like embers sword" grell said looking at it (( if there is not soul inside it ignore the following)) grell seem the soul hiding within

Luna shook her head, "nothing thing threatening, just a powerful spirit pledging her help to our quest; though in return we should do our best to keep Whisper safe and offer her some praise after we've rebuilt Equestria."

Famine was giving off the feel of being very distracted from Embers conversation with Grell, her focus was on how Lightwing was yelling into the night sky and she was very amused.

 

In Lightwing's head the voice was smooth but mocking, "oh yes because yelling at the sky to figure out where a voice is coming from is a brilliant and refined strategy. Relax, I'm not going to hurt you, I could help you become something great. Just first kill that crazy unicorn stallion there then take his sword and throw it into the ocean."

 

Famine maybe a side comment into Embers mind, "I didn't meantion it before, but I hate my siblings."

Steel nodded "so just a spirit saying they'll help us and I should make sure I protect whisper anything else" steel asked he was curious why nopony mentioned Astrids cutie mark he turned his head to see she had fallen asleep on his back he smiled and looked back ahead

Lightwing listened to Grell's opiniom,and then back to the spear

"I'm not completly sure of that..."

But then,she heard again that voice.This time,she tried to talk internally

"I'm not going to throw his sword to the ocean,and much less to kill him!!!And who are you,er...Whatever-Your-Name-Is?And why are you communicating with me?"

Embers grinned as he looked down at his sword "No, I think you did say that, Why are you talking about it now though?" Heglanced over at lightwing and laughed "You going just as crazy as I am yet, lightwing?" He only was half joking, he was wondering what was going on

The voice snorted in Lightwing's head, "you don't deserve to know my name, maybe if you turn out to be a little more worthwhile than my last wielder I'll tell you and share of my some power. Or you could do as I say and I'll help you kill... Embers was it? Yes, kill Embers and bury his sword in a shallow grave and I'll be your best friend. As for why... his sword is stupid and ugly just all around offensive to everyone associated with it! It would be better if that sword had never been made."

 

In Embers head Famine sounded upset, "i-i-it's nothing, if I m-mention him to you h-he'll just get more upset-t at me."

To Luna, Steel trying to hide the fact that he had noticed Astrid's cutie mark was very obvious so she decided to play with him a little, "nope, absolutely nothing else important happened while you were gone. That pretty much sums it up." She readied her magic, a spell to cover up Astrid's cutiemark when Steel looked at the sleeping filly on his back again. She fought to keep a grin from her face, maybe it would be enough of a surprise for him to wake Astrid and have to congratulate her.

Whisper had toned down at Wanderlusts' look and silence and had simply inspected the boat, having never been on one before. For a moment, she turned to Wanderlust happily to ask him if this was the boats he used to tell stories to her about. But then she turned away to satisfy her curiosity about the boat.

 

When he had asked for her help, she looked up surprised and climbed over to him; looking up at the giant sails. "What do you need me to do?" she asked nonchalantly.

Lightwing turned to Embers,ready to tell what was happening,but then,she reached the conclusion that this was a battle that she had to fight for herself...

"Er...Nothing,I'm just having a little headache,haha!"

She started to talk,but this time,ensuring that the others couldn't hear her

"I'll not destroy that sword,and much less i'll kill embers.He's my friend,after all!!And how you can judge me,er...Thing???"
