Ha! I knew it! Twilight really DID explode in the season 3 finale and now all the events that have happened since then were merely hallucination as she floats up into pony heaven/purgatory! Still, what a TWIST! We just got shamallama'd.

I like how Angel bunny's eventual transformation to the new Discord was really well foreshadowed in previous seasons, I honestly should've seen it coming.

 

Also, Nightmare Moon actually being good and Celestia was actually evil was just jaw dropping. Made me think why we didn't question her supreme dictatorship before and seeing Luna's side to the Nightmare Moon story really helped enlighten us to Celestia's true dark self.

 

Also Sweetie-bot becoming canon was one of my favourite episodes.

This season was seriously the best by far.

 

Many ponies have already brought up the big moments, but is nobody at all going to mention Discord sacrificing himself in order to prevent the Ursa Major from blocking out the sun and destroying the universe? I mean, sure, it was a bit over-the-top, and the logic and respect to sizes WAS a bit faulty here and there, but it was a powerful scene.

 

... Also, I absolutely loved the way they made Spike into an alicorn. I admit, I was a bit skeptic when I saw it in the commercials, but I think they made it work pretty well, all things considered.

I loved the episode where we found out that Derpy actually was Celestia's mother! Who would have thought that she was a pony with the power to see two universes at once?

Personally, I think episode 19 was, by far, the most emotional. Learning about the death of Fluttershy's parents in that terrible water-skiing accident made it twice as difficult to bear when they rose from the grave and ate the Mayor. Fortunately, Rarity was able to open a worm hole and drop the zombies into an active volcano.

 

And that song and dance number featuring the music of Thy Art Is Murder? Classic.

What do you guys think of episode 29? (weird they started to have seasons 39 episodes long) Ya know, where a lot of ponies were on a ship, Lyra shot a harpoon at Captain Celestia's face, and she bucked all the fillies and colts down into shark infested waters?

What about that unfinished episode with the sharkosaur? They only did the storyboard. I saw some of it but it's really hard to hack their databases so the file I got was corrupted.

I liked the 15th episode where celestia cut off twilight's horn, and she said that she was accually Dolan, and then twilly fell to the bottom of the city, where she was rescued by the other mane 6. Luckily her horn was replaced by an artificial one.

 

It was weird watching fluttershy slaughter angel and then drink his blood in a bowl.. Luckily he was only in a coma and survived.

Still not the best episode though, remember episode 22 when the racist paraplegic monkey butler had an intense fighting scene with spike and the rainbow sharting unicorn with an epileptic desire to strap dynamite around its chest so that he could become king of Equestria after discord had destroyed Celestia and Luna in episode 21.

 

Meanwhile Fluttershy drank tea.

I'm surprised no one mention the fact that Coco Pommel happens to be a time traveling cyborg and her rather large family with Star Swirl. And who knew Star Swirl one passion was making ice cream that lasts forever. And you know I really hate how Rainbow sacrificed herself to become part with Tank, the one true God of Equestria. it was so underdone and breezed over. I don't care on Applejack trials while transforming into an apple goddess or Rarity secretly being a breezy.
