Drone stared at her more and looked at his bloody hooves,he blinked a few times before his eyes turned huge,he looked back up at the Queen and said,"W-what's your name?"he asked her.

The queen thought,"...I...don't remember..."she said.

Sentinel gulped softly and shook his head,"... I really am no better than her..."he stated before looking at the metal encasing her hooves,he looked at them and started bending back the metal,giving only a little effort,he let her up and said,"how old are you?"he asked.

She shook her head,"I...don't know...19?"she asked.

Drone looked taken aback by her answer and sat on his rump,he shook his head and sighed softly.

Flash and Firebrand looked at each other and Firebrand shook his head. "This just proves my theory that the creatures in this world are barbarians." he said no longer trying to keep his voice low. "Let us go." he said. Flash nodded and said "It would appear that we are no longer needed here. Although I'm not sure we ever were." He smirked and then his eyes rolled into his head and he collapsed on the ground. Firebrand shot a last cold look at Drone before he too collapsed into unconsciousness.

Drone watched them drop and he looked down at the bloody floor,he started to feel the blood dry and mat down on him,he looked back up at her and said softly,"Come here..."he said in a soft voice.

She blinked and slowly trotted over to him,she looked at him a moment with a tilted head before she hugged him tightly.

Drone blinked and blushed at this action,he asked softly,"...w-why?"he asked.

She giggled softly,"because you looked like you needed one."she said.

Drone started crying and hugged her tight,whispering to himself,"I am such an idiot,I just committed a crime against my own morals...I'm such a terrible pony."he said,whispered.

Chrysalis smiled slightly."Oh,that's a lie."she said softly.

Flash woke up and groaned as he held his aching head. Beside him Firebrand was also waking. Sitting up, Flash shook his head and asked "What the heck happened?" Then his jaw dropped as he took in the scene before him. The red earth pony sat in stunned silence next to him. The golden pegasus jumped up and pointed at Drone yelling "What the buck is going on? What happend?" He grunted in pain as he rubbed his hurting head again. "I blacked out there." He looked shamedly at Firebrand and said "All I know is we lost control." He hung his head and Firebrand put a hoof on his friends shoulder.

Drone sighed and looked at his friends,he softly departed from the memory-lost mare and walked over to them,his head held low as he said in a soft tone,"I made her lose her memory..."he said softly,he sat down and closed his eyes,he felt exhausted from the fighting and dissecting... He just wanted to curl up and go to sleep...

Chrysalis watched him and yawned loudly,"Anyone else sleepy? I'm sleepy."she said,stretching and smiling at Drone,her two fangs looking...cute...

Sentinel looked over his shoulder at her and looked down,he felt like it was his duty to protect her now,like he owed her,he sighed softly and smiled back slightly.

She looked at the door and started walking to it,not really caring or noticing the blood splattered on the wall,

Drone looked back at his friends and followed her slowly,he shook his head as he then thought about Derpy.

Said mailmare was slowly waking from her much earned nap and started walking about her house.

Volt extended the landing gears of his craft and alligned himself to the submarine carrier

 

"100 miles to touch down"

 

he said lovering the flaps to 60%

he was ready with his hoof above the airbrake command, he lifted it by a small percentual, he then turned on the ILS (Instrument landing system)

 

"gaining thrust, engines to idle power"

 

the aircraft was almost on the carrier

 

"landing hock down! first wire is mine Icarus!"

 

he said touching the runaway

 

"reverse thruster on! maximum powers to engines! airbrake on!"
 

a long metalic plate raised from the back of the cabain, a parachute opned behind the plane, just above the ecm pod, in some meters the plane was almost in a complete stop

 

"Here Doc1, i request instructions for the hangar plus a taxi to it... thank you for the warm welcome! Doc1 over!"

 

(ooc sorry all guys for the late post.. btw i hate you all you made me remmeber of my days at the army.. damn it it was so cool as navigator on the F-16.. i still remember how much i hated the ILS! piece of crap of an instrument)

Just then, a large blue and gold bird appeared in a flare of blue electricity. There was a loud crack as he appeared. He quickly moved aside as the small bolts of electricity from his teleportation crackled in the air. They soon stabilized and began to grow and widen until there was a large portal crackling with energy. Doc the unicorn walked slowly out of the portal and said "Time to go home."

Carrier

 

As the plane landed on the aft pad, Blizzard (aka Arkangel) walked to the viewing platform, pulling a radio from his vest.

 

"Arkangle to Doc1. Please retract landing cable and brakes of your craft. The traction projectors will pull you jet into the superstructure and then you will depart from the craft."

 

He then signaled a lower officer to open the aft hanger door. After doing so, a field emitter pulled the plain inside the hanger.

 

A crackle come over the comm line of the radio as Seth called the carrier.

"This is lone wolf to Atlantic, I'm on your port side. Requesting access for port landing pad."

 

"Access granted, Lonewolf. decrease the wingspan and let the traction beams pull you in"

 

As the Continental came close, the two main cargo beams retracted as the giant was pulled into the lower landing bay below the landing strip.

As Seth walked out of the transport, he was greeted by a tan beta wolf.

 

"Welcome sir. The first pilot has just landed and is just being pulled in now if you wish to see him."

 

"Good. When we secure the second one, prep the ship for dive. Wait until I give the ok for the plunge though." Seth said, walking towards the lift to the upper hanger bay. Exiting the lift, he found himself staring at one of the most beautiful just he had ever seen.

Drone and Chrysalis both jumped back and gasped,Drone gulped and stared at Doc,"how did..."he shook his head,he didn't even question it,he knew things were NOT right in this world,he was immortal and he was just a normal pegasi!

Chrysalis scrambled behind Drone,getting as small as she could behind him and shaking as she peeked over his shoulder with her hooves on them,she stared at the pony that walked out of the portal.

Drone blinked and blushed lightly as he looked over his shoulder at her,this felt so...odd...the Queen of the changelings,the meanest,most infuriating race in the world,was cowering like a little filly behind him...like she was just...a normal old pony...He also noticed the crown on top of her head was completely gone,not there anymore,even thought it was part of her body...how...odd...

Doc said "I heard everything over the com channel. And don't be afraid." He looked at the portal as he spoke. "Its really simple. Flash's friend here" he gestured at the bird "is a thunderbird. He can teleport using electricity he builds up in his body. All I did was use a machine of my own invention to open his 'transportation channel' so to speak, wider and more stabilized." As Doc spoke, the bird flew over to land on Flash's back and nuzzle his cheek. "Hey Sparks. Howya doin buddy." Flash said quietly. Doc looked back at Drone and the queen and said "I assure you it's quite safe."

Seth walked up to the wolf and the pony from behind the jet.

"That will be all, ensign" Seth ordered the wolf. Turning to the pilot, Seth saluted him.

 

"Welcome to the W.E.S. Atlantic, lieutenant. Pride in the fleet. She may not have the most guns, but she can take a lot of

punishment and still dish out wolven hell."

I'm sure you have questions about what happened to Flash and Firebrand when they powered up. Also, I have a propsition for you. Regarding your immortality. " he turned smiling and walked through the portal.

Seth smiled at the pony.

 

"At ease, Doctor. You and I are vets. I just like to be formal to mess with ponies. I may out rank everywolf on this boat, but I consider us equals. Fallow me, I'll take you to your quarters." Seth lead the pony through a corridor as the plane descended into the cargo hold. As they made their way to the living section, Seth nodded to a door off to the left end of a hallway. "That is your privet quarters. It is third bet aboard the ship, the captain and myself ahead. If you need anything, ask any wolf to find me."

 

Seth was about to leave before a coal black wolf with a gray patch across his face ran up to him.

 

"Sir, we just got info about our target base. One: recent sat images seem to point that it is abandoned. Two: there is a lot of ion massing in one section of the base, like a quantum gateway just opened."
 

Seth looked confused for a second, but then turned to the wolf. "Get that second pilot in here now. I want this ship ready to launch within fifteen mins!" He barked. "If you need me, I'll be on the bridge."

Drone and Chrysalis looked at each other before they both walked into the portal at the same time,at the other side,Drone looked around at the water and he smiled slightly,saying to Chrysalis,"Last one in makes dinner."he said,then started running to it.

Chrysalis gasped and ran after him,"Nuuuuu!!!"she cried,and started running past him,"HA!"she cried out behind her,sticking her tongue out.

Drone smiled,"Not so fast Chrysalis!"he smiled and spread his wings and shot past her and right into the water with a huge splash.

Chrysalis's face was shocked as she stared at him in the water,she slowly stepped in after him and said,"Dang...well,looks like your getting a meal tonight guys..."she said.

Drone smiled and laughed,"YES HA!"he laughed before washing off,leaving lots of blood in the water,the area around him turning red.

Chrysalis said softly,"Um...Drone...c-can you...wash my back for me?..I can't reach.."she said,blushing.

Drone blushed red and looked away a moment before sighing and nodding,he slowly swam over and started scrubbing her back,he was looking away the entire time,a red blush on his face.

Chrysalis had a blush on her cheeks as well,but she looked like she was peaceful.

Back at Ponyville,Derpy was thinking about Sentinel..."Hmmmm...maybe we could hang out together...I'll go track him down!"she said,her eyes wall with a slightly devious smile on her face as she started flying around,looking for him,then,finally,she found him,in a creek with Chrysalis,she gasped and landed,"D-DRONE!!! THAT IS QUEEN CHRYSALIS!!!"she cried out to him.

Drone's eyes went wide as he shot out of the water and he landed right in front of Derpy,"SHHH!....she lost her memory...she is good now,trust me..."he said softly.

Derpy blinked and looked past him to see a confused Chrysalis,"...I-I...guess your right...but...why were you rubbing her back like that?"she asked,her eyebrow cocked.

Sentinel blushed red and said simply,"Its a long story..."he said,looking back.

Derpy shrugged,"Well...I was thinking,you know,we could hang out."she said,a blush on her cheeks.

Sentinel blinked and blushed softly,"Uhh...yeah,sure..come on over..."he said,flying back in the creek and continuing to wash himself and Chrysalis off.

Doc entered the portal after Flash and Firebrand. The three exited on the other side and Doc turned around to power down his gateway machine. It powered down with a whirring noise as Flash and Firebrand dived into the river. Doc called out to Drone and said "When your ready for explanations and my proposal as to what to do about your immortality, ill be inside." He turned aound and headed into the lab as the portal closed up.

Seth thought over all the potential ideas, then remembered one he wanted to test. Calling the black wolf, Seth commanded, "Get Volt a quick non meat meal on the dubble and tell the dive officer go for dive."

 

Turning to Volt, Seth said, "You aren't taking a plane. I got a quicker way."

 

Tapping into a comm unit on the wall, Seth called to Blizzerd. "Arkangle, prep for a jump two klicks from the ToI" Seth smiled again. He loved being back in his teck. As the ship slowly tilted, the wolf walked to the bridge.

'Oh boy. Where to begin.'

 

Seth slowed his pace so Volt could catch up. When he did, the wolf began his explanation.

 

"A quantum gateway is a field that ties the normal dimension to the quantum dimension. In that state, an object can move at an experimentally faster rate than in the normal dimension. That's what we are taking to get to the base." Reaching a door, Seth and volt entered to see the bridge. On it, they could see the ocean floor as well as a metal ring as it began to glow.

 

 

"We go through there, we end up at the base in roughly a second's time." Seth finished. The ship began to enter the field, cutting the ship slowly down as it went. When it reached the bridge, two watched as they entered what looked to be a wormhole. After a second, they found themselves back in the water under a field of ice. "Any questions?" The wolf asked with a smirk.

Drone nodded to Doc,he and the two mares were in the water,playing,and when the other two jumped in,they started playing with them as well.

Chrysalis smiled and jumped at Sentinel,she latched onto him and they sank into the water,she and Drone stared into each other's eyes for a long time before they started to struggle for breath,then they both swam up to the surface.

Derpy smiled and started playing with Drone souly,they smiled and laughed as they played together.
