Flash smirked at Drone and said "They're not doing what you think they're doing you know. Jay is a walking ball of tension and Fluttershy is a magical massage therspist." He laughed and walked to the door and opened it. Standing there was a very irked Rainbow Dash. Shs stalked foward, while a nervous Flash slowly stepped backwards. "So." she said angrily. "You go on a dangerous mission, and you get home and you don't even come to say hi first? Some stallionfriend you are!" She harrumphed and turned away, sitting on her rump and folding her hooves. Flash smiled sheepishly and walked over to stand next to the blue mare. "I'm sorry babe, I wasn't done helping yet. And I was planning on spending the night with you. But I got tied up. But,....." he spoke slowly. "We're here now. And it's getting late. I could use some company." He was nuzzling her ear now, speaking softly. Her frown twitched for a moment before she broke into a reluctant smile. "Fine." she said. "But tomorrow your making me breakfast in bed." She ordered sternly. Flash bowed and said "Your wish is my command." He smiled as she flew past him into Flash's room. He turned to look at Drone with a grin.

Drone smirked and chuckled,"Go get her...tiger." he chuckled softly and said,"Oh...I'm gonna stay up a little later..if you hear singing and crying...just...uhh...just ignore it..."he said,looking down at his hooves,the lonesomeness irradiated off of his body,he knew he had friends but...nothing more,and now he was being almost mocked by those friends because they are closer than such...He waited till Flash walked off to go to the balcony and stare out at the night,leaning over the guard rail,he looked down and started singing a sad song,he was an amazing singer,and fenominal fighter...but the one thing he wanted more than anything...love...he had never felt real love...He started breaking up and he started crying to himself,his song turned to nothing but soft sobs...

Flash nodded smiling and flew up to his room, trying to ignore the intense need rolling off of his friend. He closed the door and turned around. Rainbow was sitting on the bed with her head cocked to the side in curiosity. "Is something wrong?" she asked. Flash walked over to the bed and sat down. "Yeah, Drone has solved his first problem, but now he has another one and he is still hurting. I'm going insane." Rainbow smiled sympathetically, and then seductively. "Well then, I'll just have to distract you." she said with half lidded eyes. She wrapped her hooves around his neck amd pulled him down onto the bed with her. She kissed him slowly and passionately. Flash forgot all about his worries as he returned the kiss with equal passion.

Drone wiped his face and looked down at the ground,he sighed softly and looked out at the city,he heard the softness of silence out over the small village,he sighed and looked at the sky a moment before slowly turning and walking past Flash's door,the feeling of lonesome and depression was so immense he could feel it ten fold than before,he slowly walked out the door and started to stroll down the street,his head held low as he sighed softly.

Flash was holding Dash tightly in his hooves. They had made out for a while and then they simply cuddled. She was almost asleep now, but Flash was far from dreamland. "Hey Dash?" "Hmm?" she answered sleepily. "I need you to help me set Drone up with a special somepony." "What?" she asked confusedly, waking up a little more. "Flash, you know I'm not good with that sort of thing." She snuggled in closer as he frowned. She smiled and said "Go to sleep. We can figure it out in the morning." She fell asleep as Flash attempted to push his worries out of mind. Eventually he too fell asleep.

he said hitting the throtle and enjoing the kick back of the acceleration, he almost forgot about the mission.. he was on the skies, again, with friends, with a mission, with a dream

 

"finally.. finally i can.. i can do it this time! i wont dissapoint you again Pixy!"

 

he looked at the frozen water behind him, the coffin system was already showing him the right direction for the computer, the carrier becoming small and small

 

"i.. i can feel the power in my hooves... this. this is the real fredoom, even if i am closed into a cockpit..!"

Drone slowly trotted through the little town,he hadn't noticed it,but he was right beside Derpy's house,he sighed as he walked past her house slowly.

Derpy was not asleep,but she was laying down in her bed,she couldn't sleep...she was thinking about Sentinel and could NOT get him off her mind!...then she heard hoofsteps outside,he blinked as she thought silently,'Who could be out at this hour? It's almost midnight!'She thought silently before looking out of her window and recognizing the stallion,she blinked a couple times as she saw the sadness on his face,so she got up and slowly walked outside,her night robes on as she trotted up behind him.

Drone looked down at the ground but stopped when he heard a door behind him open,he looked over his shoulder and watched the door as Derpy slowly trotted out,he saw her night robes and blushed lightly,they exchanged quiet hellos before trotting on to the park,both sitting on a bench.

Derpy looked at Drone with soft,caring eyes,she felt his lonesomeness...knew his pain..."Hey...you don't look too happy...what's wrong?"she asked softly,scooting closer to him.

Drone blinked and sighed softly as he had tears start to stream out of his eyes,"I-It's just...all of my friends have a special somepony...they are all happy,cheerful and laughing while I just sit in a corner,wishing I had somepony like that.."he said in a depressed,sad voice.

Derpy sighed softly as her eyelids closed a little bit,"Drone...I know what you feel like...I feel the same way because I'm so different..."she said softly.

Flash tossed and turned in his sleep. His dreams were plagued with images of his friends abandoning him and feelings of loneliness as Rainbow left him for someone else. He woke up in a cold sweat, breathing heavily. It was still dark. He looked next to him to see Dashie sleeping soundly. He kissed her cheek and she smiled in her sleep. 'Drone if you don't find someone soon, I'm going to go insane.' he thought to himself. Laying back down he tried to go back to sleep.

Drone and Derpy sat in silence for a about 30 minutes before Derpy made a subtle move on him and hugged him softly,saying in a soft,quiet tone,"It's ok Drone..."she stated softly.

Drone blinked the tears that remained out of his eyes as he hugged the grey mare back softly,they held each other for a good 30 more minutes before Drone said softly,"I think...we should go get some rest...you have work tomorrow..."he said softly,Derpy nodded and nuzzled him softly before walking back to her house,he walked her there,but he stopped outside his friend's house for a few more minutes before slowly and quietly slipping into the door,Did Derpy...really just nuzzle him?...nah...couldn't have!...I mean...could she? He shook his head before retreating to his room to catch his sleep,and he did.

Flash awoke the next morning alone. He could tell it was late morning. He knew Rainbow had lesft for work. She and the other wonderbolts were working on a new routine. He stretched and groaned in satisfaction as he felt his joints pop. Yawning, he rolled out of bed and walked lazily to the door. He flew down to the first floor to see what he could rummage for breakfast.

Drone sighed softly as he woke in the morning,stretching hard and hearing his back pop,he walked out and saw Chrysalis watching Flash rummage for food in the fridge,he raised an eyebrow before walking over,"Mornin'"he said,his hair a mess and his face showing how tired he was from the just waking up.

Flash popped out of the cupboard his head was shoved in, and said "Guh Mornimf!" His mouth was stuffed with various food. He looked comical as he gulped and swallowed his mouthful. He shook his head and ran foward tackling Drone and laughing while he tried to get him to wrestle.

Drone blushed slightly and started wrestling with him,rolling around in the floor,"HA! Can't beat me bro!"he said with a wide smile on his face,playfully punching him and rolling around in the floor with him.

Flash rolled away from his opponent and then turned to face him. He growled playfully and dived down, knocking Drone off his feet. Then whipping around he wrapped his hoof around his friends neck in a headlock. He didn't apply too much pressure though. He didn't want to choke him. "Ha, what now?" he said challengingly.

Drone blinked and recovered quickly,he struggled a little before flinging his opponent over his shoulder and doing a roll over him while he was down,he then pinned him to the ground and had a wide smirk on his face,though he didn't hurt him while doing any of this,he did however stick out his tongue and let a long strand of spit slowly dangle down,letting the strand of saliva almost touch his friend's lips,he said,"Say uncle!"He exclaimed.

Chrysalis watched this and her smile faded as she watched Drone do this,would he REALLY let his spit touch his best friends lips?...well,whatever,it's just fun! She giggled more.

Flash stared up at his friend in horror. Then he smiled evilly and said "You must not know me very well!" He leaned up and opened his mouth and let the saliva fall in. He shook his head and said "Say Uncle? Never!" He pushed hard with his back legs, launching Drone away.

Drone blushed red,"GAH! Wha?!"he looked shocked and almost disgusted by his friend before he was launched off,he tumbled inot the counter and he growled playfully as he charged back,he ran into his friend's side and spread his wings as he flew into the air and put his friend into a head lock,pulling his hooves in a manor that he couldn't use his arms,and he flew to the top of the treehouse,"SAY UNCLE!"he cried as he head locked his friend with a smile,"Oh,and I never knew you were bisexual,Flash,because technically,you just kissed me!"he laughed before whipping his friend around in the air.

Flash burst out laughing and said "Why, are you attracted to me buddy? I'm touched but I must decline for I am straight. But you forget I have travelled the world and I have had stranger things in my mouth." He paused as he realized what he just said and growled "Don't you dare think of that in the way I know your going to!" He cried out in surprise as he was tossed through the air. He flared his wings and righted himself and launched at Drone.

Drone burst out laughing loudly,he dropped out out of the sky and laughed extremely loudly,"OK OK HAHAHA!!! YOU WIN OH MY CELESTIA THAT SOUNDED SO GAY!!!"he laughed and hit the floor,he was now laughing and crying as he rolled on the floor.

Flash stopped midlaunch and stared in disbelief as his friend sank to the floor and rolled around laughing. Flash scowled and harrumphed as he turned his back on the two ponies and sat down crossing his hooves. He sat there scowling as he waited for their laughter to stop.

Finally,after 5 minutes,they stopped laughing,but Drone was still giggling a little as he got back up,"ohhh...that was j-just way too funny...oh man..."he wiped his eyes and sat in front of his friend,"well,I'm hungry,what do you have to eat?"he asked.

Chrysalis' belly growled loudly and she blushed,"Uhhh...me too..."she giggled softly as she looked at her belly.

Flash turned his head and raised one eyebrow at his friend. He had a somewhat grumoy expression. "Oh, are you done laughing now?" Getting up slowly he rolled his eyes and walked back into the kitchen. He grabbed some veggies out of the cold box and threw them on the table. Then he sat and frowned and said "There. Try not to laugh so hard this time though, I hear those carrots are really funny characters."

Drone looked at his friend with a cocked eyebrow,"Well...look at you MR.Grumpy."he said and gave him a noogie,"Come on,lighten up,it was just funny the way you said it."he said and sighed softly,"Look,we're sorry,ok?"he said softly and smiled,"Now,come on,smile."he said.

Flash rolled his eyes again and walked away saying "Yeah yeah." Then he stopped and turned back with a playful gleam in his eyes though he still had a frown on his face. "But this isn't over. You just wait." He smirked and headed for the door. "See ya, I gotta go to work."
