Today turned about to be a great day Blaze thought as the sun set, he learned that we would soon squash the rebel scum, he gets to watch a rat fight for his life, all the while he was thinking about the expression he would witness on Sky's face, he was looking forward to it, he was going to face public execution and he would make sure she was there to witness it.

Shadow started making his way down the steps of the audience and to the top of the ring wall. Making sure his gear was secure he heard the announcer over the speaker. "We have another combatant joining the mix please welcome back Shadow Fire!!!!" With that Shadow jumped past one of the guards and into the ring. He undid his cloak and let it hit the ground reveiling his swords. "OK you two let's have some fun."

Once again the bigger stallion made the first move. He ran forward swinging the flail and Firelight dashed foward to meet him. He tossed the dagger into the air and reached up and grabbed the chain of his opponents weapon, and wrapping it around his hoof he wrenched it from his grip and threw the stallion off balance. He grabbed the handle of the weapon and swung it viciously, smashing it into the pony's right rear leg. There was a loud snapping sound as the stallion screamed and cfell to the ground. Firelight jumped up and grabbed his falling dagger in his mouth again. He tossed the flail away and began advancing on his opponent who was trying to get up. Just then another stallion jumped into the ring and dropped his cloak. Firelight looked up in surprise at first but then he shrugged and got into his battle stance.

 

Sky flinched at the violence but looking back she smirked as she watched her stallionfriend fight. Then she looked surprised and worried as another stallion joined the fray.

Blaze was astonished how did this person get into the arena, Blaze looked at the Pit Master and looked at his expression of approval, he then turned towards Sky who's jaw was on the floor, he liked watching her she then yelled at the Pit Master that this was against the rules, the Pit Master only replied "what rules? there are no rules" she looked at him with anguish Blaze watched the battle and said "you'd be wise to shut your mouth" Sky sat there feeling defeated

Equinox went into the arena with himself covered. He looked at Firelight and pointed a jet black katana at him before he unsheathed another blade that floated around him now. "There goes staying in secret" He muttered as he didn't like Firelight at the moment.

Sky looked at this pony she disliked so much. She scowled at him and stared back into the arena, silently cheering Firelight on..

 

Meanwhile the red earth pony was circling his two opponents, his senses on fire. Then he looked up again as yet another pony jumped in. The bigger stallion was looking around in bewildered rage. He had no idea what was going on. Firelight laughrd and said "Finally, a challenge."

Nopony could tell but Equinox was smiling. They didn't know how fast he could move, how silent he is, he has been watching from a far and know Firelight's attacks and strategy. "Trust me this will end quickly" He said as a voice in his head spoke. "Kill them all and leave nopony alive, strew their organ across this arena and let them be afraid of you" The voice annoyed Equinox who annoyed it

Blaze was furious he was sick and tired of ponys interrupting where they didn't belong! The Pit Master spoke to Blaze "if anything more is to happen that is unscheduled, I want you to step in" Blaze nodded he wanted to let this Happen quickly he was becoming flustered. Blaze couldn't decipher her expression or maybe it was just blank

Shadow jumped into the mix drawing his katana and lurching towards Firelight. Shadow missed on purpose digging his blade into the ground and moving within ear shot while stopping the flail with his two short blades. Shadow had a hoof on Firelights head holding him from attacking. "Firelight...you want out right...well I'm here to help you." Shadow grunted quietly. Shadow pushed the other stallion back and kept at him with his short blades using magic to keep them moving.

Firelight's eyes widened for a fraction of a second as he parried the newcomers blows. He could tell he wasn't delivering full attacks. "One question." he said as he tossed his dagger in the air again and dived quick as a flash between the blades to hit his opponent in the chest knocking him backwards. He caught the dagger and quick as lightning flung it into the chest of his original opponent who was now charging again. He fell over with a gurgle as the life ebbed out of him. He jumped on the stallion he had knocked over and began to wrestle with him. "Why shoudl I trust you?" he asked.

Blaze heard this talk "That's enough!" Blaze jumped into the arena and sent a flying orb and captured Shadow in it then throwing him into the wall "what your planning is treason and will be dealt with as such after this duel!, he looked at the Pit Master then back to Firelight "due continue my friend" he had Shadow tightly compadres into the impenetrable orb, "stay put" the horns echoed into the stadium and signified the battles restart Firelight now faces his opponents once more

Shadow continued to struggle with Firelight holding his own but refusing to use his blades at the moment. Shadow managed to roll Firelight onto his back before slamming both blades magically into the ground on both sides of his head. "Because I'm the only pony standing between your death in here and seeing your beloved again. And I'm not saying I'm killing you. There's a reason why there has never been a champion in this arena." Shadow jumped off Firelight and drew all three blades and mouthed to the stallion "Do we have an agreement?"

 

It was then Shadow saw another stallion jump in and before he could react he was in a containment field. But thankfully the pit boss allowed them to continue. Shadow looked at the other pony and glared. "I'm not committing treason there are no rules correct plus what's wrong with a good fight?"

Firelight eyed this pony carefully. After a moment he slowly blinked a yes. Just then, the commander jumped in and contained the stallion in an orb of magic. He really didn't like this guy. He turned to the hooded pony. He was the only one left. If he wanted to survive he would have to do some pretending. He faced his last opponent and appraised him, trying to get a feel for him.

"The point is your trying to help this stallion escape and that is a law punishable by death" Blaze held the containment orb and escorted Shadow to the exit "I'm one for a good fight, but what your doing is against the law, you may leave and never return, Blaze sent the orb rocketing into a building" He's lucky I was in a good mood, rat, Blaze entered the Pit and nodded towards the Pit Master

Equinox appeared behind Blaze and kicked him before moving to the field and breaking it with ease. He then looked at Blaze. "Face some one fast don't you" He said challenging Blaze. Equinox is a strategist who looks before acting. He attacks when he thinks is right he also uses the shadows to his advantage

Blaze looked at the orb he flung "a fake" he said "very cunning" Blaze added "Do you want to see something very cool?" Blaze unsheathed Clarent and instantly a ring of fire cloaked Blaze and another ring circled both Blaze and Shadow the fire was so immensely bright it illuminated Shadows face distinguishing all Shadows features

Equinox got away wanting to keep his own face hidden. "Blaze...that name sounds horrible" Equinox said as he das hed forward and made water appear to douse the fire that was conjured by blaze. "Easy to tell weakness just by the name how sad" He said as he kept his weapon up

"What are you fighting for Shadow?, I know you, I've watched you, you wander the streets and take a liking to that cloak of yours" Blaze conjured a force field around himself hoping this tricky stallion didn't have anything else up his sleeve to counter attack Blaze once more, one thing Blaze didn't expect was Shadows skill with water magic.

Firelight simply sat and watched the events unfold. That hooded guy was fast. And skilled in magic. He looked from the hooded stalion over to shadow, both of them facing down Blaze. He looked up at Sky Flower and smiled. She smiled weakly back at him and waved. He nodded back but quickly turned his attention back to the fight. He was actually entertained.

"My name is not Shadow it's....Shade" Equinox lied as he raised his blade up and broke the barrier. "I'm fighting for what I want. I also want to know why you are allowing this" He asked as he had a lot of stuff in is sleeve. He started chanting and kangi meaning silence and death floated around him.

"I want expecting a disturbance of this performance," right as Blaze said this armed militia showed up with M16 and crowd control gear, "I'd advise you to surrender but that would probably just give you the endurance to try and take my men and I on even more" Blaze underestimated his opponent this much was true, he gave this Stallion a way out and he refused it, this Shadow was going down with lead in hem or in hand cuffs it was his choice.

"Can you even cathc me" He said as he disappeard and sliced one of the mens head of before disappearing again. "Forbidden Magic: Weeping Angel" He reappeared and snapped another mans neck. He know the more he does this the more magic is consumed so he should kill a few more. Reappearing again he cut Black and dismembered before disappearing and reappearing out of sight panting heavily.

Firelight watched as the armed militia ponies surrounded the two ponies who were seemingly trying to help him. Truthfully there was not much he could do. Without weapoms he was powerless. He looked at the two ponies and slowly shook his head very subtly hoping they noticed. But of course the hooded pony went on a bloody rampage. He hung his head and sighed.

"Hmm peculiar if I do say so myself, but my men have strength in numbers and they'll keep re-appearing no matter how many you kill I'm afraid" Blaze let his Claren slice the air sending a fiery wave through the air smashing into Shadow but barely making him stumble "You're strong but I will not use Clarents full power full, you couldn't comprehend the power this blade has, you look tired I think you'd fair better if you let my men take you in" Blaze was unsure if this Stallion was going to quit but Blaze wasn't forfeiting either

Shadow stopped next to Firelight and erupted a orb of pure fire along with a while that surrounded both of them but keeping them hidden behind the flames. Shadow looked back at Firelight. "Nows the time to choose either come with me and see your love again when it's safe or stay here and die. My employer is very interested in meeting you, she wants to change things in Equestria and make it harmonious again."
