What to do with Ideas for Fanfics, When You Don't Have Time to Write Them?

Surely everyone goes through this?

Let us, as world scientists, discuss this dillemma!

If you have, "good," ideas for fanfics, what can you do with them if you don't have the time or skill to write them?

Well, I personally tend to try to tell other people about them; maybe one of them will like the idea and be able to do something with it. Or, if I don't have time right now, but I will have time in the future, I might put down a basic description of the idea and elaborate on it if and when I have ideas for fleshing it out.

Time and skill have never been deciding factors for me; I have both of those in abundance.  The key factor has always been motivation.  It's been a cycle that's happened to me three or four times: I get struck by inspiration like lightning for an excellent, grand fanfiction, then crank out three or four chapters before wondering what to do next, subsequently losing steam, and running out of motivation.

As for what the fate of those fanfictions are?  I write everything down.  The plot synopsis.  The little things I'd forget.  The complete Bios for every fan character involved (As most of my fanfictions at least feature a fan character).  I leave them on my desk, and maybe I'll finish it someday...but, then again, maybe not.
