Thy growled runing back in with her lazer gun and pointed it right at volts head , hissing. The Spirts in her head yelled for her to kill him, and at the moment she agreed .He was insane and deseved to die. She bucked him hard in the back of the head and put the gun away. She quickly started to punch him hard and quick. She couldent help but smile . It felt good. And she disliked to act ''normal'' anyway.

"STOP IT!!"Golden quickly put a telekinetic field around each pony in the room and levitated them as far away from each other as possible. She pointed a hoof at the pony who was beating up Volt.

"You. Don't hit him. He's a suspect as much as the rest of them. I put him in that glass cage so that he wouldn't hurt wnyone but himself. Got that?" Golden turned to the rest of them. "As for the rest of you, don't ake me put into glass cages of your own. And yes, I'm speaking to the suspects."

Volt grinned, while blood was  flowing trough his mouth, he then spitted on the ground bursting to a big laugh

 

"oh this is so funny!!! remebers me my times at the university after exams ahaah! please keep it on! ahahahh!!!"

 

he started rolling on himself almost crying for the laugh, his mouth still bleeding

 

"ih ih so detective.. what are you going to do now? arrest me.. for the third time?"

Volt's question made her do a complete 360.

"What do you mean 'third time'? I've only arrested you once and that was at the case two months ago. Besides. You still haven't told us who you think the murderer is." Golden Flames was now curious.

 

Starcover had gone to the bathroom and when he came back, he saw that evrypony shifted positions. They could have walked around but he knew levitation placement when he saw it and this was a levitation placement.

"What." Golden Flames turned to see a dark blue Unicorn return from the bathroom. She walked up to him.

"How can you be the murderer?" She asked him.

"You're seriously considering what this pony is saying?" Starcover asked the detective.

"I said I wasn't ruling anything out and I meant it."

"Well, sorry to burst your bubble detective, but it seems to me that I'm not your murderer. It's like I told the other detective. There were two Egyptians here, shouting about a curse that the Eye of Uadjit has. This morning, he was found dead. That's all I can say." Starcover walked away, thinking that his job was done for now.

"Okay then. He thinks that Egyptians killed the curator. Then where are the Egyptians?" She asked jo-one in particular.

"Implausible." Said Dan. "I don't think one such as Starcover could have done it, but, like I said, we must discover these suspects motives." Said Dan. He turned to Detective Golden. "The Egyptians were not anywhere here during the time of the murder." Said Dan.

He looked at Doctor Volt. "Volt, if you're so sure Starcover did it, what was her motive?" Asked Dan.

"We need ANSWERS, Doctor, not obscure riddles!" Yelled Dan, slamming his hoof down on a nearby table. He took a moment to cool off. Dan let out a sigh, before looking back up after he had sunk his head quite low. "Now..." He said. "You say you're hungry?" He asked Doctor Volt.

"No you don't." Said Dan, smirking. He had anticipated this, and out a barrier around the museum. Not even a teleportation device could penetrate it. Due to this, Thylacine came back. He took the jewel from her. "I'll take that." Said Dan. "Should have expected this. Light said you were a thief, after all..." Said Dan.

Lee looked around. Is anyone doing anything productive? Or is everyone just trying to take the amulet?

 

Paladin

Paladin landed next to Dan. "Shall I take the amulet to Canterlot for the time being? For safe keeping? I have a vault in my office that I can put it in for the duration of this case."

"You're Paladin right? It would be for the best if you take the amulet away from the museum. Most of the ponies seem to want it for themselves. So who are the suspects besides Volt, Starcover and Thylcine, I think her name is?"

 

Starcover wistfully looked at the amilet. He doesn't know why he keeps thinking about that stupid amulet!

"What do you think you're doing?" Starcover looked up from his position on the floor. He didn't even realise that he was nose-to-nose with the amulet.

Paladin nodded at the pony infront of him. "Yes I am. I'll take care of it immediately. Also, to answer your second question, I think that that pony over there *points at masqurade* and that tan unicorn over there *points at lee* are possible suspects, though I'm not sure of the others. I arrived here last night right after closing time so I only saw a few ponies leaving." He pauses to catch his breath and holds his hoof out for the amulet. "I'll put this away somewhere safe. I'll also make sure that there's around the clock guards protecting it until this conundrum is straightened out."

Starcover very reluctantly handed the amulet over to Detective Paladin. "I don't know why I'm acting this way Detectives."

 

Golden nodded at Paladin's suspects. "Ill go and talk to them now. Thanks for handing it over Starcover." Golden walked to the tan Unicorn. "Hi. I'm Detective Golden and I was wondering if you could tell me your name and what you think happened?"

Lee looked up in surprise as he's approached by a pony. "Wha- Oh. Hi. I'm Lee. I was, eh. Well, to be honest. I'm not sure what happened. All I know is that the curator and some Egyptian ponies got in some big blow out over the amulet. They said something about a curse and owner dying a gruesome death. Then they left and it was closing time. Next thing I know, I'm asked to come back here and I find out that the curator is dead and I'm a suspect."

Golden frowned at the statement. "That's what Starcover said. The Egyptian part not the coming back to the museum part. Thanks for that. Is there anything else you'd like to add before I ask the others?" Golden jotted down a couple of notes while she waited for an answer.

Lee shook his head. "Nope. Well...actually one. Where is the bathroom? I need to go." Getting directions from the detective, Lee followed the signs to the rest rooms where he looked out the windows, hoping for a way to escape. Seeing the dome surrounding the museum, his hopes of escape dropped like a rock. He relieved himself, then made his way back to the suspects and detectives.

"You're most likely experiencing the same effect that Doctor Volt has faced with the insanity portion of the jewel. It seems to only occur in ponies with pre-existing conditions like insanity." Said Dan, deep in thought. "The urge may never go away, we may never know." Said Dan.

"Good to see you return to our company, Lee." Said Lieutenant Dan Morrow as he saw Lee return from the lavatory. "You like the new security system, also known as 'the big bubble'?" Joked Lieutenant Morrow, chuckling. "I figured ponies would attempt escape, and made that bubble to fix the problem."

Golden Flames just sighed and shook her head. She went over her notes and headed over to Detective Dan.

"Detctive Dan, Lee said that there were Egyptians here yesterday as well. Should I ask the other suspects about this?" It was the one thing that confused her. If both Starcover and Lee had seen the Egyptians then why weren't they here?

Paladin made haste. Flying, not to Canterlot, but the caves deep in the Everfree forest that the bat-ponies lived in. He landed and walked through a very very deep and maze like structure of underground tunnels until he arrived at his office. He checked his magic mirror, enchanted by Luna herself to allow her to communicate with him while he was away. Nothing. Good. That let him pursue this murder mystery. He walked over to a specialized vault and activated the magical lock that only reacted to his touch. "Magic. I guess it does have it's uses. Still. Hmmph. If it weren't for magic or curses or that other mumbo jumbo nonsense, the good doctor would be alive and I could be here." He sighs and puts the amulet in the farthest part of the safe (it's a very large safe). Then, returned to the museum. He landed on the ground just in time to hear Golden Flame ask about the egyptians. "I have some information on them, if you'd like to hear it. I actually asked the late doctor about them myself. I'd heard they had caused a bit of trouble and was interested in sending a few guards after them. The doctor told me that they had left though. He was sure they hadn't stuck around after making their threats."

Goldem Flames saw Paladin light down in the museum. He must have gone to put the amulet in his safe over in Canterlot. "Actually, some information would be nice. The only thing that I've gotten out of them is that the Egyptians had a curse placed on the amulet."

Thy sighed hideing on the other side of the museum as the lights went out . She was lonely . She had moved here with light . Then Celestia asked him to stay up there for a week . And now she was alone and had nothing else to do but think about him. She hoped he would be safe.
