A few minutes later. Maya woke. "M...mommy? Why were you laughing? Did I...I..." Maya still couldn't figure out the word. She was still a little groggy mostly because of using her abilities in the past few hours. As Maya grew up, she got used to using more and more of her abilities.

Meadow smiles, "oh darling, you were just tickling mummy's tummy and it felt nice." She says muzzling into Maya, "Darling, there...there's something I want to ask you, but, it can wait until after dinner, are you hungry?" She asks, giving Maya a big snuggle and a kiss on the nose.

"Yes...and I guess I was...dreaming..." Maya stated stirring a bit. As she stirred, she ticked Meadow's belly again. "Mommy? What's tickling?" Maya asked as she continued to lightly tickle Meadow's belly with her hooves. She still had much vocabulary to learn for a filly her age.

Meadow giggles and starts to tickle Maya as she had done in the past. "remember this, darling? How I would do this and make you giggle, laugh and be happy? This is tickling, and what you were doing to my tummy just then, that's tickling." She says continuing to tickle Maya,

Maya started to giggle that adorable happy giggle she used to do back in the forest. Maya started to tickle Meadowlark as she continued to tickle. She tried to ease Meadow on her back so she could get on top of her and continue to tickle. She was still giggling happily.

Meadowlark lay on her back and pulled Maya onto her tummy for a snuggle and chirped as she snuggled her.

 

Daechiril hears the laughter and goes to check on them, seeing the two of them together like this made her heart melt, "aaaaw"

 

Meadow then began to tickle Maya again.

Maya giggled again and she started to poke and tickle Meadowlark's belly. It was soft, warm and snuggly. It even made tiny litte sloshing sounds too. "This is fun mommy!" Maya said happily as she continued to giggle, laugh and tickle Meadowlark's soft belly.

"It sure is sweetheart, tell you what, I cannot wait any longer. Sweetheart, do you love my mum and dad?" She asks, hoping with all her heart that Maya would say yes, she wanted to ask Maya if she wanted to live in Cloudsdale, she could find a way to make Maya's wings more permanent or for a way for her to have wings, perhaps some mechanical ones or something.

"I do mommy." Maya stated as she continued to tickle Meadowlark. She then saw some leaves from a plant. She then focused her energy to draw them to her. She then began to tickle Meadowlark with them while she was laying on her belly. She felt very comfortable. 

 

(OOC: Maya's leafwings could become perment, that is, if and only if she doesn't make them disappear for 24 hours.)

Meadow smiles, "that's wonderful, because they love you a lot too, both of them. Listen love, I know you like living in the forest but... We cannot live there forever, especially as you're getting older and bigger, so..how would you like to move here in with my mum and dad? You'll always have the garden, and I know mum would love your help"

"...But I...love the forest..." Maya said as tears started to well up in her eyes. She certainly did not want to leave that big flower she blossomed from. She started to sob lightly, for most of her memories were in that forest itself, and she did not want to leave them all behind. Maya had stopped tickling.

Meadow smiled, and nuzzled into her and hugged her "It was just a suggestion dear, please don't cry. Mummy doesn't like it when you cry." She licks her mane, "But if there was a way to maybe bring your flower to the garden or something, would you?" Meadow was saddened, she hoped that Maya would say yes, but she also understood.

Maya was still sobbing lightly. "If...it's the...only...choice..." Maya said still sobbing and burrowed her face into Meadow's fur. She especially didn't want to leave behind the house she built, which gave Maya her cutie mark. "What about...that house...I built..." Maya said still sobbing.

Meadow had an idea, "I'm sure the garden is big enough to move it there, sweety. But like I said, it was just a suggestion, I was just thinking about how mum and dad would love to have us close by, and how it would be nice to have them close to us." She snuggles Maya in her wings.

Maya soon stopped sobbing. "...Okay mommy." Maya said with a faint little smile. She was happy that she would be able to move the flower and the house she built to the back of the garden, but still sad that she would have the leave the forest, for she won't be able to roam as much.

Meadowlark could almost read Maya's thoughts, she smiles while stroking her fur gently. "Sweety, I know you love roaming around the forest, and you can still do that, I promise." She wraps her wings around her and cuddles her tight to her chest, "I want you to be happy love, but I also want you to be safe"

Maya was still disappointed that she wasn't able to roam anymore. Suddenly, her leafpony came by her side. Somehow Maya called on the wind unconciously and brought the other one to where she was. Both of her leafponies were now snuggled with Maya and Meadowlark.

"What's wrong sweety?" Meadow asks her kindly, "It isn't like you won't be able to roam the forest." she muzzles her and hugs her and her leaf ponies, "I'd ask mum and dad to move with us, but they're jobs mean they have to stay here, and hey, the garden is like the forest, we can always expand it and put familiar plants and flowers in it to make it feel more like home, and you do want flying lessons, don't you sweety?"

"M....maybe...." Maya stated as she continued to snuggle with her leafponies. Maya's wings were still folded, until all of a sudden, one of them popped out nearly whacking one of Maya's leafponies in the face. Maya flinched. "What just happened?" Maya asked starting to quiver.

"Oh, that happens when you're excited, don't worry though, one of daddy's first lessons is how to control it" Meadow says with a light chuckle, "you know your grandma and grandpa love you very much and would do anything to make you happy, but they cannot afford to lose their jobs"

"Wh...what are jobs?" Maya asked. "Are they...hard?" She added. Her left wing was still stiff. It soon relaxed and Maya was soon able to fold it back.

 

(OOC: When Maya makes her wings appear, tiny roots connect to Maya's circulatory system to sustain the wing's durability. Once 24 hours pass, enough roots are formed to make them a permanent part of Maya's body.)

"Well dear, a job is something a mare or stallion does, to earn money to buy things that they need to live, like food and drinks, things like books, toys and other fun things also cost money. Some jobs are hard and some are easy, it depends on how much the pony enjoys it, For daddy, I know he loves it a lot, so for him it is very easy"

"Hmm....when can I get a...job?" Maya asked as she fantasized about opening her own plant shop. Since she was half plant, it would be reasonable for her to take a job since she has a knowledge about plants since she's a half plant herself. Maya's leafponies snuggled in a little more.

"Well.. Most ponies wait until they are older, say 13 or 14, so you still have a few years to play and have fun" Meadow says, she smiled at how eager Maya seemed to be to getting a job. "Take your time to think about what you want to do, and in a few years, I am sure grandma or grandpa may be able to help you find work"

"Okay mommy..." Maya stated. She then thought for a second. "Mommy, can we go back to the forest and move everything to here now?" Maya asked. She did not want to wait any longer. It was a nice day and she wanted to lay in her flower, before she got too big and wouldn't be able to fit in it anymore.
