"Certainly dear, we will get grandma and grandpa to help too" She gets up and calls for her parents, who immediately arrive and agree to help them move everything, Meadow smiles and they soon depart to go back to the forest. On their way there, they pass the spot where the Sage had attacked them. Meadow thanks Celestia that Maya doesn't remember it, but a single tear drips down her cheek at the memory.

Maya soon arrived at the house and the flower was still there, with it's bright pedals. Maya then turned to Meadow's parents. "This is where I was born. I'm half plant." Maya stated. Even though the memory of the sage's curse was gone, she still had the memory of how she was born.

Daechiril smiles and hugs her tightly "And we still love you none the less, half plant or half changeling, it matters not to us dear, what matters is that you are you and you make Meadow happy." She kisses her on the nuzzle, "now come on dear, lets move that beautiful flower of yours and this neat little house"

Maya focused her energy and uprooted the flower. She kept radiating her energy so the flower won't lose any of it's nutriants. She then turned the house and slowly disassembled it from the roof down. She then arranged all of the parts in an organized fashion with her energy still radiating on the flower. "I think we need a...a..." Maya couldn't figure out what they needed. They needed a cart of some sort of carry all of the parts.

Shadow smiles, "A cart dear?" he whistles and two stallions come down with a cart big enough for everything to fit in it, "here we go, put everything here, and we can get moving" he says, still smiling, making sure not to bare his fangs so not to scare Maya. Meadow walks over to her parents and muzzles them, "thank you" she whispers to them

Maya focused her energy and placed everything in a neat pile. She then placed the flower on top of it all. "Are we...ready?" Maya asked as she continued to radiate her energy on the flower to keep it stable and alive during the time it was out of the fresh forest dirt.

Shadow nods and the two stallions pulled the cart away, "yes dear, we are, come on, I can imagine you are eager to get everything set up in the garden." He says nuzzling her, "come on, how would you like a ride on my back?" he asks, kneeling down so that Maya could hop onto his back.

Maya hopped on Shadow's back and held on. She spread her little wings out still keeping radiation energy on the flower. She lowered the ammount of radiation she let out, for she was getting a little tired. She was slowly drifting off to sleep on Shadows back

Shadow looks back and smiles, then ascends into the air, making way back to the house in Cloudsdale, Daechiril following behind. Meadow stayed a little longer to make sure everything was taken, then follows them. An hour later they arrive back home.

Maya had fallen asleep until Shadow was no longer moving. "P...Papa?" She asked as she woke. She was a little woozy from the ride. Her flower was still in perfect condition and none of the twigs or logs fell off during the flight back to Cloudsdale. Maya started to quiver lightly.

Shadow smiled and gently lifted her from his back and snuggled her tight, "what is it sweetheart? is everything alright?" he says kindly and gently, cradling her in his arms, "are you still tired still?" he says as he continues to cradle her in his arms, humming a tune.

"Are we here?" Maya asked as her eyes were still half closed and was was wobbling a bit trying to stay up. "I guess when I radiated my energy...on my flower...it tuckered...me out..." Maya said as she continued to wobble and try to stay up. She leaned on Shadow for support.

Shadow smiles, "Yes sweety we are, how about I put you to bed for a nap and we can set everything up after you've rested?" He asks here with a smile. Gently picking her up in his arms, he carries her to Meadow's bed and tucks her in. He sits next to her, and kisses her on the head, and gently strokes her mane. "sleep well little one, if you ever need or want anything, just call out, okay sweety?"

"Okay papa." Maya hadn't realized she called Shadow this. She just let it go and fell right to sleep. Her flower was in super perfect condition because of all of that solar energy she radiated on it. Maya was in a very peaceful deep sleep.

Shadow smiled, he loved it when Maya called him that. He kisses her on the cheek and places her plushies under her arms, "I can't wait for our first flying lesson" he says gently as he gives her mane one last stroke before leaving the room. He then sees Meadow reading in the living room. Smiling he goes to her, "You've done a marvelous job, dear"

 

Meadow smiles, "thank you dad, she's my little angel."

Maya stayed asleep for the next twenty minutes. She soon woke up and wandered in to a room where she found Meadowlark reading. "Mommy?" She asked looking up at Meadowlark.

Meadow looks up from her book and smiles at Maya, "yes sweety, did you sleep alright?" she asks kindly. She puts her book down and motions for Maya to sit on her lap. "Is everything alright dear? Are you hungry?" Meadow truly loved Maya, and she was very proud of her.

"A little..." Maya stated as she hopped on to Meadow's lap almost slipping off. She tried to push herself up but nearly fell back down to the ground. She tightly grasped Meadow's right leg to prevent herself from falling on the floor. She looked up at Meadow with sort of a scared look.

Daechiril hears from the kitchen, "I'll be there with food and water in a minute sweety" she calls out,

Meadow smiles and wraps a arm around Maya to stop her from slipping off her lap and nuzzles into her. "you know sweety, I am very proud of you" she says, holding her close to her chest.

"For what?" Maya asked. She was very curious about this. She suddenly heard Daechril call out form the kitchen. Maya's stomach growled, but this time it was soft. Maya felt the warmth from Meadow's fur on her chest, but fought the drowsiness this time and looked into Meadow's eyes.

Meadow kisses her on the head, "For being so selfless love, I know it was hard for you to leave the forest, but doing this for me and your nana and papa, it is very selfless, and that is why I am proud of you, although, I'm always proud of you" she continues to embrace her, stroking her fur softly with her free hoof.

 

Daechiril soon comes out of the kitchen with a tray of sandwiches and a jug of water.

Maya looked up at Meadow with those teary eyes. "I...I'm gonna miss the forest..." She said sobbing very lightly, burrowing herself into Meadow's fur. Although Meadow complimented her for her selflessness, Maya was very sad deep inside that she had to leave her once home.

Meadow hugged her tight and kisses her on the cheek, "I know how you feel sweety, but we can visit it as often as you would like to. I promise" she says, reaching for a sandwich from the tray and giving it to Maya, "you're a very special, talented, sweet, and cute little filly, never let anypony tell you different."

Maya soon stopped sobbing once she saw the sandwich. She took a small bite out of it and waited. She then took another by. "Thanks." She said as she continued to eat the sandwich while sitting on top of Meadow's lap. She was a little happy that she could go and visit the forest.

Meadow smiles, "Anything for my very special little filly" she says, taking a sandwich for herself and nibbling on it. She swallows her bite then says, "I bet you're looking forward to your first flying lesson with your papa, I know he is." Meadow was very happy to finally be home, and now that she had a better control over Draconia, if anypony harasses her or Maya, she can let Draconia out without making the same mistake as she did when she was a filly.
