"Wait? Why 12...what is it for? Is it...is it...bad?" Maya asked putting the box on the table starting to quiver again. She was nervous and thought that the box contained something bad that would take effect when the clock strikes twelve. She sort of backed away a few steps.

"No my dear, it contains something wonderful. Something you will love, and it is something I made myself" Solar says with a warm smile, "You will like it. I promise".

 

He then turned to Meadow and nuzzled her, and whispered.

 

"Nu uh, we are doing this together" He chuckles.

"Okay..." Maya said as she put the box some place safe. She then heard Meadowlark and Solar talking amongst each other. She looked at the two conversing with a clueless face "Uh...what are you two talking about?" Maya asked with that curious and clueless look on her face.

Meadow smiles, "O-okay, I just feel that you'd be better at it than I would be." She says muzzling him back.

She then looks at Maya, "Maya, flower petal. There is something you need to know about what can happen if you fall in love or if you fall in love." She looks at Solar to begin.

Solar nods to Meadow and starts.

 

"My little flower, do you know were children come from ? You know that they come to couples in love yes ? Well, guess it's about time we told you how they come" Solar says to Maya.

 

He looks at Meadow and blushes deeply as they start on the topic.

Maya laid down and listened. "Wh...where do they come from? The love that a mare and a stallion make? Does it magically form the foal right in front of their eyes?" Maya asked as she continued to think.

Meadowlark smiles, "Good girl, now, do not forget about your meeting with the Wonderbolts, would you like to go to that now?" She asks, still hugging Maya tightly.

She then lets go of Maya and snuggles back up with Solar, happy with how the 'talk' went and happy that she had Solar there for support and to help explain it.

Solar leans in and pulls them both onto the couch in a big light groups snuggle.

 

"Well, now that we got that out of the way" He kisses Maya on the Forehead, " How about a happy little group picture before we all get down to business ?" He asks.

"Okay." Maya stated as she waited for somepony to get the camera. She was happy that she had it all explained to her, and hoped that when she meets her special stallion, it will turn out to be true love, rather than blatant and false love only used for the stallion's pleasure.

Solar gets up and grabs the camera, and sets it in front of them, and then clicks, activating a ten second timer. He then quickly sprints over to Maya and Meadowlark and hugs them both lovingly.

 

"Say CHEESE" He says with a big goofy smile as the camera ticks down.

Meadow smiles and just as the camera reaches the ten second click, she grins and says "cheese!" there was a flash of light from the camera and the photo was taken. She then hugs both Solar and Maya tightly and whispers, "thank you, both of you" with a smile.

Solar hugs them both back with a big happy smile.

 

"I love you both so much, I hope you all have great fun today" He says with a big smile. He nuzzles Maya and Meadowlark with love, and gets up  to retrieve the camera and photo.

Shadow comes in with a big smile, "All ready for your big meeting with the Wonderbolts, Maya love?" he asks sweetly, sipping a cup of tea. "Just say the word and I'll take you to the Arena" He says again with a big smile on his face.

 

Meadow nuzzles into Solar, "with you darling, every day is great and fun" she says as she buries her face in his soft mane.

Maya had a big smile when the camera clicked. She then hugged both Meadowlark and Solar. "I love you two." She said affectionately. "I was planning to fly down to Ponyville but...do you want me to meet with the Wonderbolts first?" Maya asked unsure of what to do.

Shadow nods, "That would be best, the Wonderbolts are very busy and can't stay at the Arena all day, plus I think the have a surprise for you" he says with a smile, "you've grown up so fast" he says wiping a tear from his eyes.

 

Meadow nods, "It's okay love, but when you do go down to Ponyville, be careful and stay safe. Come right home if something happens, and remember, we love you"

 

she turns to Solar and snuggles into him, content to just snuggle and be there with her loving husband.

"Okay." Maya stated as she focusd her energy and made her leafwings appear. She then went outside and looked around. "So...where's the arena from here?" Maya asked as she continued to look around and get acquainted with her surroundings before she took off.

Solar snuggles  with meadow happily.

 

"Eight years since we met. Six since we married. My my, time really does fly does it not my love?" Solar says to Meadow snuggling with her. His mind filled with memories. Of how they met. their little adventures together. When Maya opened up to him. When they married. He was overtaken by nostalgia as he hugged his wife.

Shadow smiles, "right over there" he says, pointing over to the arena, where three ponies in flight suits were waiting for them at the entrance "I've told them a lot about you, and they're very eager meet you, especially their leader, Spitfire." He says as he leads the way.

"You're right love, It's been so long, but we've gone a long, long way. Especially Maya, I mean she is still as sweet, innocent, naive and adorable as the day i met her, but she has also grown up to be a very beautiful young filly" Meadow replies with a smile and kisses Solar. "honey?" she asks, "I...do you think Maya would like a little brother or sister?"

Maya then flew over to the arena. She flew there quite fast. She then landed on the clouds and saw three pegasus ponies in what it appeared to be special flight suits they wore. She was a bit nervous and stepped slowly toward them. "Um...hi." She said to them.

"I dont know dear. Maybe we could ask her later when she gets back" He says, Nuzzling her and wrapping their tails together.

 

"Heh, did our 'talk' make you think of that ?" Solar asked, giving an immature smile to Meadow.

 

Really.... eight years...... best eight of my life if I do say so  myself.

The Wonderbolts were waiting for her and Shadow at the entrance to the arena. Spitfire smiles at her, "Well, you must be young Maya Flower? Shadow Wing here has told us a lot about you, says that you're a natural flier, and that you even broke his record. I must say that that is quite an impressive achievement. Oh and before I forget..." She reaches behind her and brings out a flying uniform, identical to hers, "Happy 14th birthday beautiful" she says with a smile.

"Mmmm.. maybe darling, I mean.. It would be wonderful." Meadowlark says, leaning over and kissing Solar. "I love you darling, though the circumstances of how we met could have been much better, I am really glad and happy that we did." Meadow says again, nuzzling into Solar's fur. "And well, these 9 hears I had of raising Maya, 8 of them with you, they were the happiest years of my life" She says, closing her eyes, though they had recentlyish woke up, she was still kind of tired.

"I would be more than happy to accommodate you on that" Solar winks at Meadowlark," I am sure she would like a sibling though. But maybe we should ask" He says snuggling up to her.

 

As he did, he wrapped his tail around her's and stroked her front hoof slowly.

"You're right, it would be best. Though I am sure she would love it. She's just that sweet and caring." Meadowlark says, kissing Solar on the muzzle and stroking his hoof in return. She smiles when he intertwines his tail around hers, this was one of her favorite things to do when they snuggle, it just made things more romantic and special for her.

Solar leaned over to his wife and kissed her with passion. After a few moments, he turned it to a french kiss before stopping.

 

"Heh, so what do you want to do dear? It's a beautiful day outside, and we have some alone time with each other" Solar said romantically.
