Solar follows her to the door and smiles as she opens it. As soon as she dose, he spots the princesses. His eyes go wide.

 

"Wow, the Princesses here ? AWESOME" he says, before clearing his throat," Erm, I mean, your highness" he bows briefly.

 

"So, Maya, I guess your night was fun ?" He says.

"Yep. Do you think it would be too much for my friends to stay over tonight?" Maya asked with a little sparkle in her eyes. She eyed Solar, not sharply though, hoping that he would allow her friends to sleep over until tomorrow. "I hope he says yes." Maya thought to herself.

Meadowlark gets up and leads everypony inside, "I..."

Celestia, Luna and Twilight smiles, "It's alright dear, it is wonderful to see you after so long, and doing so well" Celestia says, nuzzling Meadowlark

Meadowlark smiles and nuzzles her back, "Y-you too Princesses, come in"

They all walk in.

"Maya, your father and I are very proud of you, and I don't see why not, right love?" she asks Solar Dust

Maya squealed happily followed by some giggles. She blushed a little embarrassed that Solar saw her do that. "Hope Solar thought that was cute." She thought to herself as she waited for something else to do.

Maya turned to Solar. "Yes Solar? ...You look a little nervous...is something wrong?" Maya asked as she continued to look at Solar who apparently wanted to tell her something but was nervous about it. She waited patiently for Solar to tell her what he wanted to tell her.

Maya covered her mouth as tears started to well in her eyes. She started to quiver lightly. "You...mean y-you...want...to be....my....my....h-husband?" She asked as she continued to quiver and some tears cascaded down her cheek and plopped onto the floor. She was speechless and didn't know what else to say.

Maya was overwhelmed with joy that she hugged Solar tightly and sobbed into his fur. "Oh Solar...you don't know how much this...means to me." Maya said as she continued to hug Solar tightly and sob. She had never felt this overwhelmed before and didn't know what to do.

Maya still didn't know why she was crying. "M...mom...if this...if this is a happy s-situation then...why...why am I c...c-crying?" Maya asked still sobbing lightly. She still did not get the concept of ponies crying when overwhelmed with joy. She thought that she'd be smiling and giggling.

"Beccause when  a pony is VERY happy they cry as well. The best kind of crying. Because you are so happy that you can do nothing but that" He said, a few tears coming out as well. Solar was filled with joy. He was proud as a father, proud as a husband, proud as a pony. He was just freaking proud all over.

Maya wiped the tears away but could keep herself from sobbing lightly. All she could was just hug Solar tightly. "Th...thank you so much." She said still sobbing lightly as she continued to hug and embrace Solar. She had never felt this much joy in her life.

Maya finally got it together and wiped the tears away. "O...okay mom." Maya stated. She then laid on the floor and waited for Solar to come and snuggle with her until dinnertime. She even rolled on her back and laid belly-up. She flickered her eyes at Solar. "Well?" She asked.

"Dear, we need to take Maya out with Solar to help them find a wedding gown and suit. With Celestia helping us, we can give them the perfect clothing for both of them." Solar said nuzzling Meaddowlark, before kissing her on the lips

"Oh! Oops!" Maya said with a giggle as she gently eased Solar off of her and got up. "So...wanna go to the garden first, and then come back inside? The garden even has the flower I blossomed from." Maya stated as she walked to the backdoor and waited for the others.
