Hearing the panic and fear in Maya's voice, Meadowlark immediately drops the knife and rushes outside, she ignores the vines wraps her wings around her, hugging her tight, then stroking her fur and mane, "shh, shh, it's ok baby cakes, my sweet little angel, mummy's here now"

Maya held on to Meadowlark tightly. The vines that had extended out from her body were still out. Maya was too afraid to know what to do with them, since this was her first time making vines. She was still quivering. "These-these..." Maya stated pointing to the vines that had come out of her body, still quivering.

Meadowlark hugs her closer, "Sweety, that's nothing to worry about, do not forget this a part of your powers. So.. if you stop focusing on them, and they will most likely disappear" She snuggles Maya, "time for me to be a mother" she quietly says to herself, and strokes Maya's fur and mane, "shh, shh.."

Maya soon calmed down and the vines disappeared. She was still a little spooked about them appearing. Unconsciously, she made her leaf wings appear. They started to twitch naturally, as if they were real true pegasus wings. Maya stirred, which caused them to flap a little.

Meadowlark felt the breeze from Maya's tiny wings, "aaw, come on inside sweetheart, breakfast is nearly ready."  She says, getting up, then giving Maya another hug, "darling, I hope that one day you will trust me enough to tell me what is truly troubling you" Meadow states as she walks inside to finish preparing breakfast

Maya followed Meadow back inside. She then saw the fruits in front of her and went for it. She started to eat them sitting up, but then laid belly up to eat the rest. She continued to eat. She then poured the water on her belly, which was completely absorbed in her body.

Meadowlark smiles, she has an idea, "Maya, sweetheart, mummy's got to go out to the shops for a little bit, will you be alright by yourself?" she asks as she gets a few bits for what she wanted. she cuts up some more fruit for Maya, "this will be for when I'm out, I won't be too long, I promise"

"O...okay mommy." Maya stated as she still laid belly up still eating her fruits. She could hear as her belly was making funny noises. She started to giggle lightly. While eating, she thought of ways to use her ability to entertain herself while Meadowlark was gone shopping.

Meadowlark kisses Maya on the cheek then walks out. About an hour later, Meadowlark returns, she takes out a lot of scrolls of parchment, and a fair few crayons, she places them on the table, "Maya, sweetheart, come over here please" She calls out as she sits down waiting for him.

Maya was outside playing with some leafponies she made with her powers. "Coming Mommy!" She called out. She went inside and the leafponies she made followed right behind her. They waited patiently for Maya's next command. "You two can just sit right there." Maya pointed. The two leafponies walked over to where Maya pointed and sat down. "What is this stuff mommy?" Maya asked. Somehow, the leafponies knew Meadow was Maya's mom and did not attack her.

Meadowlark smiles, "This is parchment and these are crayons, I bough them for you sweetheart, so you can draw things." She sits down with Maya and shows her how to draw, "there you go dear, now how about you give it a try" She hands over a few crayons and watches Maya draw.

"Ok mommy." Maya stated. She then started to draw what looked like an abstract picture of Meadowlark herself, but it was actually a picture of Meadowlark hidden behind the forest. Maya then focused her energy, and made the vines appear again, which spooked her out again, but she soon calmed down. She then used them to grasp some of the crayons and make the background. The leafponies were still sitting, looking at the activity.

Meadowlark smiles, "You're doing really well love, keep up the good work" she says as she goes and rummages through her backpacks, she comes back hiding something underneath her wings, she smiles again, "Sweetheart, can you please stop drawing for a moment, and come over here?"

Maya stopped drawing. "Wh-what is it mommy?" She asked nervously. She got off the table and walked slowly toward Meadowlark. Maya's leafponies just looked at her. One even laid on the floor on its own and watched. Maya continued to walk slowly towards Meadowlark.

Meadowlark smiled and took out a small stuffed version of herself and Maya, then held them out it to Maya, "these are for you sweetheart, I hope you like them, I had them made especially for you, so whenever I'm not around and you get scared or frightened, you can hug them and feel as if I am here."

"Thanks mommy!" Maya said hugging the stuffed animal. Suddenly, one of the leafponies came by Maya's side. "Oh! And I also have my new friends here to keep me company." Maya stated as the leaf pony laid beside. Soon, the other one came and laid beside her. 

 

(Wow...Meadow hasn't noticed the leafponies and they've been sitting there for the past few posts. I can fix that)

Meadowlark smiles, "So I noticed darling, I am guessing you created them with your powers? that's wonderful dear," She says, "you are so talented" Meadowlark nuzzles Maya then goes to sit at the window again, she looks out into the forest.

Meanwhile Maya was playing around with her leaf ponies. But, she accidently used her power on one of the leafponies, which then transformed into a duplicate of herself. "Huh?!" She sort of yelped. The other Maya just looked at the real Maya who had curled up.

Meadowlark heard the yelp and walked over to Maya, she could tell which was which because she knew her filly. She sits down next to her and wraps her up in her wings, "shh, shh, it's ok baby, mommy's here, maybe you should give trying out your powers a rest for a short while, ok dear?"

"O...okay mommy." Maya stated as she focused her energy one more time for then, and the other Maya turned back into a regular leafpony. Maya was a bit tired from doing all of that stuff with her abilities, so she just fell right to sleep. Her leafponies came and snuggled with her.

Meadowlark smiles as she pulls the blanket over Maya and her leaf pony friends, she kisses each of them on the cheek, "sleep well little ones" She walks into the kitchen and prepares some food, and bakes a cake for Maya for when she wakes up. She then sits down and starts reading a book.

Thirty minutes passed. Maya was fully recovered and woke up with her leafponies by her side. She slowly woke and so did her leafponies. "Mommy?" Maya asked with her leafponies snuggled by her side. She got up and went to search for Meadow, and found her reading a book. Her leafponies were right behind her.

Meadowlark looks up from her book and smiles at Maya, "Hello sweetheart, did you sleep well?" She asks giving her a big snuggle, "are you hungry? I've made a cake for you, it's cooling in the kitchen, why don't you go have some love, I baked it especially for you"

"Th-thanks Mommy!" Maya stated as she returned the hug. She then went to the kitchen and found the big cake. Her leafponies followed her. They couldn't eat the cake, since they were only leafponies. Maya looked at the rather large cake. It was still steaming.

Meadowlark smiled, "eat it slowly though dear, don't want you getting sick" she says as she goes back to reading her book.  She gets to a part of the book and gasps, "I could never do that to her!" She exclaims and throws the book down, she walks over to Maya and hugs and kisses her on the head, "My sweet little filly"
