"of course darling, any time" Meadowlark says with a smile as she goes to get a glass of water for Maya, then returns with it, "Remember what I said earlier dear, you don't have to ask for food or drink, you can get it yourself" She says nuzzling Maya again, "my precious little filly"

Maya took the glass of water and poured it on her belly, which was absorbed. She continued to play with her round belly, giggling, laughing and flailing her little limbs. Her leafponies were right by her side. Maya felt as if there was no curse at all. The sage was furious beyond furious. "Grrr! That runt!" He shouted as he got off his chair. "Now I'm gonna have to get that pony out of there." He stated. The sage was now searching for Maya.

Meadowlark was beyond happy to see Maya like this, She smiles at her and picks up her book to read it again, she skips through the chapters about punishment and gets near the end, "tell me when you want to go and play outside, ok love?" She says gently to Maya.

"Ok mommy." Maya stated as she stopped flailing her limbs and patted her chubby, round and distended belly. She somehow knew the sage was out looking for her. She continued to play with her belly, as her two leafponies looked on. Her belly soon started making funny noises, causing Maya to start giggling again.

A little while later, Meadowlark finishes her book and puts it away, her stomach growls a little and she blushes, "Oh, I've been so busy with making sure that you were well fed, that I completely forgot to feed myself" she says as she kisses Maya on the forehead then goes into the kitchen to get herself something to eat.

Maya blushed at this as she continued to giggle lying belly up. Her leafponies remained by her side. Meanwhile the sage was searching all over for Maya. The sky had greyed again. It was also humid, the perfect conditions for a thunderstorm. Maya continued to play with her chubby, round and distended belly.

Meadowlark smiles widely, and hums a tune to herself as she prepares a meal for herself, and puts it in the oven. She then walks over to Maya and smiles, at her, "do you want any toys to play with sweetheart?" she asks, as she picks up Maya's plushies and gives them over to her.

"I'm fine mommy." Maya stated. Her leafponies had snuggled next to her. One even fell asleep. Maya snuggled one of her own plushies. She soon fell asleep because of Meadow's humming. She stayed asleep for the next few minutes. Soon, the second on her leafponies fell asleep.

Meadowlark smiles and pulls a blanket over them, "Ok then sweetheart, and I know they're just animate forces of you abilities, but I am glad you have some friends to play with" she says kissing her on the forehead. She then sits next to her and brushes through her mane, softly singing the "Hush Now" lullaby to her, making sure she had a restful sleep.

Melody snuggled a little deeper. She was in a deep sleep, enough for the sage to take control. Meanwhile the sage was entering the far east side of the forest. But it would a week or two to arrive at the west side, where Maya and Meadow were.

 

Thirty minutes passed. Soon Maya woke and looked around. Her leafponies were by her side.

Meadowlark looked over at her, "is everything alright dear? You didn't sleep for very long."  she asks her, still stroking her mane and smiling at her, "did you have another nightmare? are you hungry or thirsty? I can get you some food and water if you would like"

"I-I'm a bit hungry..." Maya stated as she rolled on her back and layed belly-up. One of her leafponies had a move out of the way. It then laid back down next to Maya. Then, out of nowhere, Maya started to giggle lightly. Her leafponies weren't tickling her or anything.

Meadowlark smiles, "Okay then sweetheart,  you know it really warms my heart to see you smile and laugh like that, it helps me feel that I am actually doing a good job as your mother" she says as she walks into the kitchen to get Maya some cut up fruit and some water.

As Maya was laying belly up, a small fragment of dust landed on her muzzle. A feeling of an urge to sneeze washed over Maya. "Ah...ah..." She tried to hold it in, but failed. She let out a somewhat loud sneeze, which jolted her up and caused one of her leafponies to jump out of the way. Maya started to quiver. "M-mommy? Wh-what did I just...do?" She asked still quivering a little.

Meadowlark chuckled a little, "It's ok darling, you just sneezed, is all, It's a natural reaction when something tickles your nuzzle." She says as she walks into the living room with a platter of cut up fruit and a jug of water, "it's nothing to be scared about" She nuzzles into her and sits next to her with a smile, hugging her.

Maya hugged back and started to eat her fruits. She ate them one by one. Her little belly started to poke out a little. She noticed it, and blushed lightly. She then continued to eat her fruits. She then laid belly up, and poured the water on her belly, which was automatically absorbed.

Meadowlark smiled and started to stroke Maya's fur, "oh darling, I hope I am a good mother to you" she says a little sadly at the though that she may be the opposite, a terrible mother. She then starts to tear up a little, thinking of how she never really knew her parents, as she had run away from home as a little filly.

 "M-mommy? A...are you...hiding something?" Maya asked as she continued to eat her fruits. Her little belly started to poke out a little more. In fact, it was expanding very slowly and making gurgling sounds. Maya's leafponies were still by her side, watching everything.

Meadowlark wiped the tears away and snuggled Maya close, "Not really darling, I just.. I never really knew my parents either, I ran away from home when I was a little filly, about your age actually. I just don't...I just don't ever want to be a bad mother to you."

"You're not a bad mother. You're a...good mother." Maya stated as she continued to eat her fruits. Her little belly was sticking out a bit.

 

Meanwhile the sage was getting closer and closer to Maya. He desired to have her back under his power, after all, he created her.

Meadowlark smiled and hugged her even closer, "Thank you Maya sweetheart, I really needed to hear that." She smiles and looks around the house, it was starting to get messy, and even though the likelyhood of them ever having visitors was very slim, she still wanted to keep a tidy house, so she gets up and starts tidying up.

Maya noticed Meadowlark cleaning up the up the house. Unconsciously, she focused some energy, gathered up some twigs, leaves and some pine-needles and made a broom out of them. She then used the room and gently patted Meadow on the flank to get her attention. The broom was just levitating there. Maya had a small smile on her face.

"aaaw thank you sweetheart" Meadowlark says, taking the broom and starts sweeping the place, "Darling, could you please tidy up your toys, we don't want any of us tripping over them, now do we love" she continues to sweep up, humming a tune happily. Hearing Maya tell her that she's a good mother and then her making the broom, it just brightened up her day.

"Ok mommy..." Maya stated as she got up and picked up her toys. "Hmmm..." Maya thought. She then found some twigs laying on the floor. She then focused some energy and made a basket for her toys out of them. She then put them in it. "All clean..." Maya said to herself as she went back to finish her fruits.

Meadowlark looked all around herself, "very well done love" she finishes putting everything away, She then smiles and walks back to Maya, "What would you like to do after you've finished eating darling? I'll play anything you want to.. For being such a good little filly and daughter"
