Daechiril sighed, then points to the plant, "you see this plant sweetheart? How it looks all dried up and dead? Well you see, it's a special kind of plant, one that your mummy planted just a few moons before she ran away. It has a connection to her, you see. And only with her being close by and being happy, will the plant ever live again"

"Hmmm...." Maya stated as she focused some of her energy. Her body started to glow a green aura. The energy then radiated onto the plant. The plant started to unfold and it's green color was coming back. It grew, and grew, and grew. Finally it had sprouted back to it's original. Maya smiled at this.

Daechiril's smile widened and she hugged Maya tightly "oh thank you so much sweety, you enjoy yourself here, I need to show this to your mother and grandfather" she says with tears in her eyes and runs inside to get them. A few minutes later they walk into the garden.

Maya was right there next to the plant. "Look mommy!" Maya stated pointing to the statue of Meadowlark and the newly revived plant. She was so happy that she had these abilities that were able to make people happy and like her. Even though she was still young, she had an understanding of her abilities.

Meadow's eyes were full of tears and she picked Maya up and held her tight, "Oh darling, they're beautiful, just like you" she says, kissing her on the nose and and stroking her fur, "thank you, thank you so much. You truly are a very special little filly" she says, trying to hold her tears back

"Don't cry mommy...." Maya stated embracing Meadowlark tightly. She had a strong relationship with Meadowlark now and did not want to see her cry. She still did not get the concept of ponies crying when they were happy and still thought that they were sad.

"Honey, remember what I told you earlier? Ponies cry when they are happy too." She says holding on tightly to her. "Oh Maya, you truly are wonderful, I am so very proud of you, so very, very proud of you" she says kissing her on the nose again.

 

Daechiril smiles and asks, "Who want's some sweets and soda?"

"Wh...what's soda?" Maya asked. "I would prefer water." She added. The only thing that Maya couldn't have was sodas due to the ingridients that could potentially clog her insides. The only way she could drink sodas is if she took it by mouth, which she hadn't done in a while.

Daechiril smiles and explains what Soda is, but gets Maya some water as she requested. She then goes back inside and gets the sweets and cakes. Meadowlark keeps hugging Maya tightly, "I love you dear, and I will always love you" she says, with a smile on her face while looking at the statue.

"I love you too mommy." Maya said reaching to give Meadowlark a kiss on the cheek, which she had never done before. She then waited for Daechril to get her water and some sweets. She continued to look into Meadowlark's eyes. A thought then popped into her mind about when she would grow up.

Daechiril soon returns with some water and the sweets and sets them down in front of Maya with a smile. "All for you sweety" she says, then sits down next to Shadow who was beaming.Meadow was stroking Maya's man now. "so young, and yet so beautiful, both inside and out"

Maya reached over and poured the water on herself, which was absorbed. Maya saw Shadow and started to quiver a little. "Wh...who's that?" Maya asked still quivering a little. Shadow looked a little scary to Maya. She thought that he was going to do something bad to her.

Meadow smiles, "Maya, love, you met him before, this is my father, Shadow Wing. Don't worry, he may be a Changeling, but he is a really kind and gentle pony. He'd never hurt even a fly." She says, booping Maya on the nose lovingly and playfully. "He actually teaches little fillies and cols how to fly"

"Fly?" Maya asked as she focused her energy. A little green aura surrounded her. Her leafwings appeared on her sides. A gentle breeze blew. They slowly swayed in the breeze. Maya flapped them a little bit and then folded them back. They continued to sway in the breeze.

Shadow smiles, "yes dear, I'm a teacher at the flight academy for fillies and colts. I can teach you too, if you would like." he says, leaning over and licking her on the cheek, "anything for my darling little granddaughter"

 

Meadow smiles and thinks "why did I ever run away?"

Maya hopped off of Meadow's lap. She then slowly flapped her wings and started to gain height. She decreased her flapping rate when she was high enough. She then slowly flew forward, slowly towards Shadow. She then landed right in front of him and look up into his eyes.

Shadow smiles, "I'll take that as a yes then?" he says as he hugs her tight, he whispers in her ear "thank you sweetheart, I don't think Meadow would have come back to us if not for you, and she hasn't been this happy ever. So thank you" he says, still embracing her and stroking her head gently.

Maya sort of flinched when Shadow picked her up. She was still a little curled in a ball but relaxed and sank into the hug. Suddenly, Maya let out a yawn and was slowly drifting off to sleep in Shadow's arms. She could feel herself getting a little more tired as she relaxed deeper.

Shadow smiles and gently carries her up to Meadow's room. He then puts her to bed and tucks her in. Sitting next to her and stroking her fur, he gently sings a lullaby and says "goodnight little angel, sleep well and sweet dreams" he kisses her on the head and stays with her until she is fully asleep.

Maya fell into a very deep sleep. While sleeping, no bad dreams and nightmares came into her head since the curse had been lifted. She had pleasant dreams. So pleasant, that it caused Maya to start giggling lightly in her sleep. She ended up lying belly up and giggling while still sleeping.

Shadow smiled as Maya giggled in her sleep. He picks up one of Meadow's old stuffed animals and puts it in Maya's hooves.He then kisses her on the head and walks out of the room. A few minutes later, Meadowlark walks in with a smile and gently gets into the bed to snuggle with Maya.

Maya felt that familiar warmth from Meadowlark, and burrowed deep in to her warm fur; deep enough that she could feel Meadow's soft belly. She sort of slowly rubbed her hoof across, supposedly tickling Meadowlark in her sleep. It was the most relaxing sleep Maya ever had.

Meadowlark smiled and gently kissed Maya on the cheek before wrapping her up in her wings and falling asleep. Daechiril and Shadow stood at the door watching for a little while then walk off.

"It's so wonderful to have our little Meadowlark back, and her little filly, such a sweet little girl" Daechiril says with a smile.

Shadow smiles back and kisses her, "It sure is, lets let them sleep then see if they want dinner later on."

Meadowlark begins to gently lick Maya's mane in her sleep.

Maya sort of stirred when Meadow started licking her mane. Maya sort of tickled Meadow's belly lightly with her hooves to try to get comfortable. She was also in a bit of a dream where she was running through a meadow full of flowers with Meadowlark. She continued to tickle Meadowlark lightly on the belly in her sleep.

Meadowlark giggled and chirped lightly in her sleep, wrapping her wings tighter around Maya. She nuzzles into her and sighs happily.

A few hours passed and Meadowlark wakes up, not wanting to wake Maya, she lays there, with her wings still wrapped around her.
