Meadowlark smiles, "It sure is beautiful outside, we could go for a romantic walk or flight. She then remembers something, "Sweetheart, it's been 8 years today since the day we met. We met on Maya's birthday." She says nuzzling him gently, "So it is a double special occasion."

"Hmmm, so it is my love, so it is." Solar scoots up even closer to Meadow and starts to rub her belly.

 

"A romantic flight sounds great to me, maybe even some dinner down at the casino would be good, they make great pasta" He says with as he keeps rubbing her tummy.

Meadowlark giggles, this was another thing she loved Solar doing with her. She smiles at him and kisses him, "Then just let me get my scarf and flying goggles and I should be ready." She gets up, kissing Solar again and gong to their bedroom. A few minutes later, she emerges with her scarf and flying goggles on. "ok sweetheart, I'm ready"

"Good. You look nice with that scarf n. You always do" He says walking up next to her and taking her hoof.

 

"You know what I was imagining while I was rubbing you there?" He blushes "I was imagining you with a baby bump" He says licking her ear really quick as they walk.

Meadow smiles, "the thought did cross my mind darling, and thank you, handsome" she gives his ear a quick nibble in return. "Well lets go then love, I know the perfect spot." She says as she leads Solar out of the house and spreads her wings to lift off. Her tail swishes ever so slightly in front of Solar.

Solar makes a running start and spreads his wings. As they catch the air beneath him, he lifts into the sky behind her. He notices the movement of her tail and blushes a little as he pulls up next to her with a smile.

 

"Heh, so were is this spot ?" He asks Meadow.

Meadow giggles, "Depend on which 'spot' you are talking about sweetheart" she says sensually, swishing her tail a little more. "But in either case, it's right over there" she says pointing to a small hilly meadow over the horizon. "Looks beautiful doesn't it?"

Solar blushed even more at her comments, and at her revealing tail movements.

 

"Hmm, you seem like you want something" He says with a small sly smirk, and then looks up.

 

"But yes, it really is beautiful, especially at this time of day were the lighting is simply perfect. "

Meadowlark giggles, "maaaybe." She says with a sly smile, "And just you wait until you see the hill up close" she says leaning over to kiss him. They soon reached the hill and Meadowlark lands. It was a hill with a small meadow on it, covered with lots of beautiful flowers "Well darling, what do you think?"

Solar walks up next to her and kisses her on the cheek.

 

"It's beautiful dear, just like you. I wish I knew of such places around here, but you did explore this area a lot." Solar says to her.

 

He throws an arm around her and nuzzles her cheek lovingly as he looks arond.

Meadowlark smiles and returns the romantic favors, "Well darling, you see..This is where my parents met, and where I was conceived and born. Hence my name, Meadowlark." She says, wrapping a wing around Solar.  "Oh darling, you and Maya both make me the happiest mare in all of Equestria. I couldn't ask for a better husband and daughter."

"Wow. I was conceived in the Canterlot barracks, technically" Solar blushes.

 

He then lays down in the grass on his back and stares up at the beautiful sky. He pats the spot next to him, hoping that Meadow would join him. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful sky.

Meadow gladly lays down next to Solar, she smiles at him as she rolls over to embrace him. "I am so glad that Maya warmed up to and started to love you as a father fairly quickly. And your influence on her, what can I say, it's been amazing" she says kissing him on the nose, "Thank you"

"Heh, you are welcome my love. And I thank you for making my life so wonderful, and for introducing me to such a beautiful family" He says.

 

He rolls over as well and embraces Meadow as well, kissing her with much passion and fiery love. He was the luckiest stallion on earth.

Meadow returned the kiss with equal passion and love, she then flips him over onto this back. and with a smile she sits on top of him. "Are we ready?" She asks, leaning down and kissing him with excitement.

Meanwhile Maya was up with the Wonderbolts. She slowly walked up to them after saying hello from a distance. "Um...my name is Maya Flower...and...my parents referred me to you because...of my grandpa, Shadow." Maya stated as she gulped a little nervously and took a step back.

Soarin smiles, "We know dear, and don't let Spitfire's hard exterior fool you, deep down inside, she's just a big softy. Like a big teddy bear" He gives over the flying uniform to Maya, "I bet you'll look quite beautiful in this" he says, flashing her a big warm smile.

Maya gasped when she was presented the Wonderbolts suit. "Is...is this for...real?" Maya asked. She thought she was in a dream, for she didn't think that the Wonderbolts would give her a suit. Giving her a suit meant that she had just became a Wonderbolt. She was slightly immobilized by shock.

Spitfire grins, "Sure is, see this as a formal invitation and acceptance into the academy" she says, "Can't have such a talented flier not being a part of the team."

 

As soon as she finishes saying that, a young green pegasus colt with a straight brown and green mane and tail walk up to them, "Miss Spitfire I'm.." he sees Maya and blushes a deep red, "H..hello" he says shyly

Maya really didn't notice the green pegasus looking at her. Her eyes were sparkling with surprise. "Oh my gosh!" She shouted and took the suit from Spitfire and slipped it on. "I can't believe I..." She stopped jumping around and saw a green pegasus staring at her. "Uh...what are you looking at?" She asked trying not to sound rude.

Spitfire grins, "Oh hi Solar Cloud, didn't realize you were here too."

Solar Cloud nods "Yes ma'am." then looks again at Maya, "I..I'm sorry. It's just that..well you're really pretty" he says blushing again.

Shadow smiles, "Maya, sweety, this is Solar Cloud, he is..was one of my students, and Solar Cloud, this is my adopted granddaughter, Maya Flower"

Maya blushed at this. "Oh...hi there." Maya said with a sort of quiet giggle. "So...what are you doing here?" Maya asked Solar as she turned her back to Spitfire. She had many thoughts in her mind, and since now a colt was attracted to her, she was a bit nervous and thought about what her parents had said.

"My mother set up a time for me to spend some time with the Wonderbolts today. B..but now I have a greater purpose to be here. To get to know you" he says with a small, shy smile.

Spitfire smiles, "Oh that's right, I completely forgot about that, sorry Solar Cloud. Well you two can always spend time together with us" she says winking at them

"Wi......with....me?" Maya sort of hesitated and started to quiver a bit. She never had a stallion ask to spend time with her, and since this was her first time, she was a bit worried. She still had the thoughts of her parents telling her to beware of some stallions. By the looks, this one looked clean.

Shadow smiles and leans down to Maya, "It's okay sweety, Solar Cloud is one of the kindest, sweetest colts I've ever had in my classes. You can trust him" he says, giving her a small nudge.

Solar Cloud smiles, "Yes, with you. You are very pretty and beautiful, and I can tell that you have a very sweet personality."
