As the door opens, Celestia says with a smile, "Well Princess Twilight Sparkle of course.  She was my most faithful student before ascending to Princesshood. You can learn a lot from her and I am sure she can learn a lot from you too." She says as they walk through the castle to the throne room.

Maya's eyes sparkled a lot when she saw the giant throne room. "Wow! This place is huge!" She exclaimed with a giggle. "I bet you get quite a few vistors every day." Maya commented. "And Princess Twilight? My teacher? That is awesome!" Maya added still giggling.

"Indeed we do little filly, it gets quite boring though. Dealing with ponies problems, I swear, sometimes it's like they are so incompetent with their problems that they have to come to us to solve it, then when it's empty, it is quite empty." Luna explains, "and yes I agree with my sister, you can learn a lot from Princess Twilight Sparkle."

Twilight speaks up, "Celestia, Maya wants to become part of the Mane six, can she?"

Celestia smiles, "Why do you think I suggested she learn from you Twilight Sparkle, of course she can. Of course she still has her work with the Wonderbolts, but Spitfire understands"

"Yay!" Maya said with a giggle jumping up and down excitedly. She then remembered she wanted to tell Princess Celestia and Princess Luna how she was born. "Wait...I was going to tell you how I was born...are you ready to hear the story?" Maya asked as she waited.

Celesttia giggles at Maya's reaction, "Of course dear one" She sits down on her throne, as does Luna and she pulls a plush chair up for everypony, "We're ready when you are dear" She says, patting the seat next to her with a smile. Luna looks her over, and smiles to herself.

"Okay...so it all started when this sage planted a tiny seed. It wasn't just any seed, it was a magical seed, capable of doing anything the sage wanted to. To quicken the growth, he poured some magical potions on the seed. However, none of them worked. He thus abandoned the place and kept searching for ways to become powerful. Of course he was an evil sage. Anyway, days passed and the seed didn't grow. It wasn't until a rainstorm passed by, which ignited the potions and caused the seed to grow rapidly. It grew into a big flower. Soon, the flower blossomed open......and there I was." Maya explained.

"That's quite extraordinary, and you are quite the talented and beautiful little flower too" Celestia says with a warm smile

"She sure is princess" Solar Dust says, kissing Maya on the muzzle, "and I would love her even if she was just a plain ordinary pony like me."

"Oh you!" Maya said giggling and blushing and nuzzled Solar on the cheek. "Well...anything else to do here?" Maya asked as she continued to look around at the various pictures on the wall. She saw one with the mane 6 defeating Nightmare Moon with the Elements of Harmony. "Huh? What's that picture mean over there?" Maya asked.

Luna sighs, "that is a painful memory. You remember how I asked about you being an outcast before? Well the reason for that was well.. you see a thousand moons ago, I let my jealousy control me and I became Nightmare Moon, that's the mare in the window that the mane six are fighting. Celestia had no choice but to imprison me on the moon for a thousand moons."

"That's...that's terrible." Maya stated as she continued to eye the picture. "And what's jealousy?" Maya asked as she continued to eye the picture. She felt bad that Luna had to go through what she went through, but was happy that she was now restored and on the good side.

"Jealousy is a powerful emotion. For example, if you were at the shops, and you wanted something so bad but you didn't have the bits to pay for it, and one of your friends buys it for themselves? That can start jealousy. It is a dangerous emotion. It can tear friends and family apart from each other. and it was indeed terrible, but I am no longer that evil mare," Luna explains

Celestia nods, "would you like to see the archives?"

"Certainly!" Maya answered with a jump and a giggle. She then waited for Celestia to take her there. While waiting, she saw a picture of the mane 6 defeating Discord. Maya giggled at Discord's picture. "What is that funny looking thing in that picture over there?" Maya asked with a giggle.

Pinkie Pie giggles, "Discord sure is funny looking, isn't he?"

Twilight sighs, "That pest, seriously Flutters, I cannot see why you are friends with him."

"H..he's changed..h..he's reformed" Fluttershy stutters

"If you say so, anyway we're here" Twilight says opening the doors to the archives.

Maya looked around. "Wow! So what exactly do these archives carry? History? Accounts of...of..." Maya couldn't think of what accounts the archieves held. "Hmmm, reformed? Was he bad at the start?" Maya asked as she continued to think about Discord and how Fluttershy reformed him.

Celestia smiles, "The archives contains histories, destinies, accounts of the movements of the stars and planets, which sweety, is what your daddy gives to us. Then there's legends, folktales, anything you can imagine really. And in order to answer your question, he wasn't exactly bad, like he wasn't really evil, just a nuisance and a pest, he still is, but he's calmed down a fair bit."

"Okay...would it be safe to meet him?" Maya asked curiously. "And wow! No wonder why Solar Dust knows a lot about the night sky, for when I was little, I used to see tiny little dots in the sky and wondered what those were. I never got to ask Meadowlark, but maybe I could get Solar Dust to tell me about them." Maya stated.

"Fluttershy has him under control, so I don't see why not. Though e careful, he can be quite...random and manipulative." Celestia says, she browses through the shelves and a scroll falls to the ground, she picks it up and gasps, then quickly puts it back on the shelves.

Maya saw as Celestia recovered the scroll. "Was that a special scroll?" She asked. "Boy it would be nice to meet Discord, but I don't get what Celestia means by ma-ni-pulative." Maya thought to herself. "Princess....what does manipulative mean?" Maya asked as she continued to look at the scrolls.

Celestia nods, "It is a very special scroll Maya, one that I cannot show you until you are ready" She says, "And manipulative means that the pony, or in this case Discord, can and will find ways to make you do what they want you to do for them. Whether it fetching them a glass of water or something dangerous."

"Uh-huh..." Maya stated. "And when will I be ready to see the scroll?" Maya asked Celestia, making sure that it wouldn't irritate Celestia. She then continued to look around. "So...anywhere else to explore around here?" Maya asked as she finished looking around.

"you will be ready when I deem you ready, which will probably be soon anyway. And there's the garden, it's quite beautiful this time of year." Celestia says with a smile

Solar smiles, "But I bet it isn't as beautiful as Maya" he says, hugging her close and kissing her.

Maya blushed and giggled at this. She then nuzzled Solar. "So...where's the garden?" Maya asked as she waited for Celestia and Luna to escort her out the garden so she could explore. "I wonder when Celestia will deem be ready..." Maya thought to herself as she continued to wait.

Celestia leads everypony to the back of the castle and opens the gates to the garden, "Maya dear, any time you want to come here, please feel free to. I often come out here to think things over and clear my mind." She says, sitting down in the shade, "It's beautiful, isnt it?"

"Very beautiful." Maya said with a giggle and her eyes were sparkling. She continued to walk slowly through the garden next to Solar. "What do you think could be in that scroll Solar?" Maya asked as she continued to walk. She made sure that Twilight and the others were with her.

Solar thought deeply for a moment, "I don't know love, but it must be something very important, and something to do with you. Maybe it is one of those destiny scrolls that we were told about earlier. Who knows" he says, as he walks with her. He thought a bit more on what Princess Celestia said about the destiny scrolls and wondered if there was one about him too.
