Geoff turned to the voice. 'Well...today has been rather....stressful to say the least. I can't get the illusion out of my head...' He admitted tiredly. 'I had the worst nightmare for a very long time, on top of those.' He added with a sigh. 'Walking helps me clear my mind. Mostly.'

[Mr. Critical 434]

"Oh. Well... may I join you. I do enjoy walking in the moon light. And it would be nice doing it with somepony else that I hold dear to me."

Luna walked up to him.

"Uh, w-where is this coming from?"
"Well, you and I have been through a lot and I have gotten to know you a bit. And I would like to know you some more. And you don't treat me like a princess. For once, I see somepony who sees me as an equal, not a royal."
"Then... I accept. One date won't hurt, I guess."

Geoff smiled. 'Yeah, that'd be nice...' He said. He moved out into a large courtyard and walked slowly, staring at the ground as he tried to clear his head. He got an idea. 'Hey Luna, mind if I look at the stars for a bit?' He asked as he sat on the grass and looked up. He traced the constellation he had created again. That made him feel slightly better.

"Of course. Let me join you."
Luna sat down and lay next to her friend. She too began to look at the night sky she once commanded. She always loved looking up at it. Though, Twilight does do a fantastic job as well.

"So, what do you think of the skies? They are quite beautiful."

Geoff began tracing new ones. 'They're beautiful. Even prettier than Earth.' He mused as he looked at the stars. They seemed brighter here. 'Though you made them. Why wouldn't they be amazing?' He smiled as he finished another constellation. One of these days he'd find a telescope and do it properly.

Luan gave a giggle. Another perk over the alien world.

"Well. I'm glad you think so. I have always loved the night sky. Even after I relinquished my title as princess to miss Sparkle. But, she still lets me paint the night. But she takes over when I am away."

'Back where we come from the night is never like this. It isn't made either. Depressing on what you believe, of course. It's nice she still lets you do what you used to.' Geoff said as he finished the last constellation. He was relaxed now. He let out a tired sigh. 'Its been a long day. We should get back to the room.' He said as he sat up.

"Agreed. Let us head to our room."

The two began to walk back into the castle. Luna leading Geoff through the hall and back to the room. Celestia had already fallen asleep after their game. However, Aaron was messing with his new mask. Finding all the things it was capable of.

Geoff opened the door to Luna and his room. He have a small smile at the torn up jacket as he sat on the rather large bed again. He figured he could sleep. He yawned and lay down, ready to sleep. He felt Luna get in as well. He drifted off to sleep, glad that he could this time.

The group slept through the night and slept in peace. Aaron fell into his Celestia's dream and ate the mounds cake in her head. The lady loved her pastries. Luna slept with the human she has grown so attached to with her wing over him. Soon enough, the sun will rise.

Geoff opened his eyes. He felt disoriented before he realized why. He wasn't in the forest. He gave a small chuckle at that. The forestry had become his home. He felt Luna's wing over him and his smile grew bigger. He shook Luna gently. 'Morning my princess.' He joked with a warm smile as he stretched.

Luna awoke with a blush. 'What did he say?' She got up and looked at him stretching. Her face having a smile grew with each second and embraced him.

"Oh, sweet Geoff. Your advance has been noted and I would certainly love to court you."
She was in bliss. Yet she didn't know that he was joking.

Geoff's face went pale. He wasn't exactly sure what to say. He was just confused. He looked to his jacket as he tried to avert his eyes before realizing it had been taken, presumably to get fixed. He put on a weak smile. How was he supposed to explain this?

 

He sighed on the inside and went along with it for now. He did like her, and Aaron said she liked him. A lot. He had a huge smile and hugged Luna.

Luna was ecstatic. She was going to court a being that has shown her unconditional kindness. She finally let him go from her hug and looked to him. He seemed pale.

"Geoff. Are you okay. You look a bit... ghostly. Do you require medical attention? Shall I retrieve the nurse?"

Geoff smiled. 'Im fine. Thank you for asking Luna.' He said as he noted the excitement and...something he could place in her voice. Giddiness? Maybe. He eased out of the bed as he felt hi stomach grumble. 'We should go find Celestia and Aaron, as well as some food.' He suggested.

"Yes. Let us find my sister and Aaron to tell her the great news."

They left the room to go and retrieve the other two. Celestia and Aaron were awakening to the sunlight. Celestia was allowed to sleep in since she no longer held responsibility for the position of the sun. Aaron began to shake her awake.

"Come on, time to get up, Celestia."

Geoff nodded silently as he followed Luna out to where Aaron and Celestial were. He had second thoughts. Maybe this wasn't such a bad thing after all. The hardest part would be the first parts. Then he felt...hoped...it'd be easier. He sighed as Luna knocked on Aaron and Celestia's door.

Luna burst through the doors. The two looking at her surprised.

"Sister! Most excellent news. I have begun to court the fare Geoff."

Celestia and Aaron looked in confusion. Aaron was the first to comment.

"Well... I hope someone pick up that phone."

They all looked in confusion at the human.

"Because I CALLED IT!"
Aaron was standing on the bed in triumph at his prediction.

Geoff sighed with a muttered curse. 'You're worse than Barbara...' He chuckled, remembering the Chikentooth employee who would do nothing but make jokes and puns all day. 'But yes Aaron. You did. Congratulations, here's a prize.' He laughed as he pulled out the $20 bill he had kept.

"Nah. I don't need your money. Besides, in a strange coincidence (no, really) Celestia and I are actually going to try the dating thing."

Luna looked surprised.

"It is true, Luna."

"W-When was this."
"Last night. Celestia and I were playing a game of question and she asked me out."

Geoff let out a small laugh. 'Isnt that a coincidence...' He said with a small smile. He heard his stomach grumble and remembers the reason for coming. 'Oh yeah, we should probably go get breakfast. I'm hungry. How about you?' He asked the group as he stepped towards the door.

The group went down to the dining hall. There, Princess Twilight was dining. Awaiting for the others to arrive. They all sat down and were served on the spot. A simple fruit salad for them all to dine on. They immediately dug in. After they were done, they would depart for the town of Hollow Shades to retrieve the item the sisters were originally after.

Geoff finished his salad quickly. He hadn't eaten since...when had he eaten? Probably why he was hungry... He finished the salad and say back, waiting for the others. A thought came to mind. 'Hey Luna, could we pick up my jacket before we go? I'd like to wear it again.' He asked.

Twilight looked up at Geoff.

"Worry not. The maids informed me of your garments. They are being repaired as we speak. They should be in your room once you get back."
Luna looked surprised.

"Well, this is most excellent. We can depart shortly. Come Geoff."

"Oh, before you leave. If you find any other artifacts. Feel free to keep the not so dangerous ones. From what I've read, the nightmare mask shouldn't be all that dangerous compared to the others."

Geoff stood up and followed Luna to the room. Opening the door, he noticed the grey jacket neatly folded up on the bed. 'Huh. They really can fix clothes.' He said before going over to try it on. It got just like it had before. The jacket looked good as new. He turned to Luna. 'Ok then. I'm ready to go if you are, my princess.' He said with a smile.
