Rush kissed her back. "I'm glad to help any way I can." He paused and thought for a while when she asked about his family. "Well, I guess they were fairly normal. I was kind of a troublemaker, so my parents had to be strict with me sometimes, but they were mostly really nice. I didn't have any siblings, so it was just the three of us. Really, there isn't a whole lot to say about them. I loved them, though."

"Rush, i'm scared. What if i'm not a good mother. I have no to guide me except you and your also new at this. I want a big family Rush. I want to a daughter and warrior again, but now i'm going to be a warrior and a mother. I'm scared Rush, i'm used to taking care of other people's kids, not my own. I'm happy and scared at the same time. Does that make since" I said while hugging him.

Rush embraced her and stroked her mane comfortingly. "I'm scared too. I really am. But we can do this. We have to do this. And I believe that you'll make a great mother. You may be young, but you're caring and kindhearted, and you know enough from taking care of other kids to get by and learn the rest as you go. Not to mention, you'll have me. I'll do whatever it takes to make sure this kid grows up right."

I sink into his hold and let him hold me and comfront me. I was woundering were Stryker was. I was worried about him, Emily, and my baby. I was scared to death. I loved Rush, and I was ready for him to take me out on a date. To see him hold my baby in his arms, and be the daddy, I also wish this war was over with.

Rush just sat there with her for a long time, simply enjoying the warmth of her embrace. Eventually the pain in his leg reminded him they had to return to reality eventually, and he pulled back from her, albeit reluctantly. "I guess it's about time we head out to find the doctor, eh?"

I nodd my head yes, and get out of his embrace and went to get my weapons, and look for Stryker, prying to god that he's not dead, we lost a lot of people out there and I can't take anymore deaths except mine. I found Emily in her room fast asleep. I went in there and tucked her in.
