-FlutterSnipe- 215 February 1, 2014 Share February 1, 2014 Hey everyone I have attempted for the second time to draw rainbow dash succesfully, talent would make it easier but practice works too lol . Hopefully it has improved since last time . All Feedback is appreciated negative and positive, let me know what to do to improve! I know that she would benefit from some color but I don't have the medium for that ATM. Thank for the help! 6 De Oppresso Liber.

I cant draw like that. I like to sketch. graphite is my prefered medium because it is so forgiving. you just work mistakes into the drawing and shading. I like the feel of sketch drawings and charcoal fun the blend with the fingers. I can't animate on a computer though. I can only work a pencil De Oppresso Liber. But sometimes it just looks good after its colored. But it hate the effect of graphite and color, so I sketch it first and then trace it with colored outlines. At least when I'm drawing ponies that is. Anything else I just use a fine point sharpie for outlining. You can either despair that a rosebush has thorns, or rejoice that a thornbush has roses. I plan to go by some art supplies so I can do some color work and make some good colored OC pictures. Sounds like a plan. I'm trying to finish all my oc's but its taking awhile because I do one or two and then I'm all 'creativity'd' out. So I need a break before I start the next ones. I only have six done right now. Then I have five after that, but they are not as important so I'm in no rush with them. Well actually I just went back and looked and I gotta redo two of them. The shading on the legs could be lighter. Otherwise props for the face and mane design (better than the faces I can draw) 1 Posibility and Potential are my two favorite words. Captain Brony (MG11) 218 February 2, 2014 Share February 2, 2014 (edited) Applejack is great Only thing to add would be to slightly make her flank bigger. (Horses have round butts like we do) Pinkie could use some touching up on her face and neck. I totally understand your plight. Drawing ponies was super difficult to get right when I did it. RED20 289 February 2, 2014 Share February 2, 2014 Don't be so careful with your lines. It's easier to correct a loose sketch than a hard one.
