*Shakes his head and sighs, grimacing and biting his lip as he feels the pain shoot through his shattered right wing, he walks a few feet away and speaks quietly, his mane fluttering in the wind*  What are we supposed to do for them?  *Looks at his right wing and sobs, fear gripping him*  We aren't strong enough to fight that creature.... we would just be killed too   *Keeps looking at his wing and snorts weakly* Now I may never be able to fly again.... *Turns around, tears streaming down his face as he clutches at his Medallion*  and for what?!  I never asked to come to this damn place... *Sighs heavily and hangs his head down, turning away again*  I will never leave your side or leave you to die, I will stay until the end, but your asking me to risk my life and yours to go back and face than thing when we have little or no chance?   *Clutches his medallion again*  I have a mare who needs me, you have a husband who needs you, we can't just throw ourselves at that beast mindlessly...

Seth charged at the alicorn, piercing the shield. With all his might, he tore at the necklace, cutting it off Night's neck. With the bubble gone, Seth had free access for all his fun. The evil canine forced the pony to the ground. "You're mine, Nighty!" He then slashed at his chest with both paws. With his chest cavity exposed, Seth had all access to feast on the internal organs of the alicorn. For the next ten minutes, Seth gorged himself on the bloodbath that was Night. All the time, he made sure Volt watched. 

 

"Don't worry Volty, your turn will be here soon enough..."

Volt watched with disgust and horror the tragedy in front of his eyes while the cuts were slowly and painfull closing

he said trying to get up, using the tree as an aid, his mind was more stormy than the weather, his eyes almost without life and white, his mane and tail losing hairs... Volt was almost without any energy left

Oh my gods... *she froze up, tears fflowing like a fountain out of her face...She had sensed it...even though they were barely a mile away...she had felt Night Wolfe's mind, express terror...pain...and then...silence*

 

Night Wolfe is...is..DEAD!!!! *she sobbed into Skylar's mane then* Your right Skylar! There's nothing we can do! I don't...*coughs and shivers* I don't...want to die out here...but.. *she looks back knowing she could barely sense Volt's mind...it was sad and without hope* ...Volt...Icarus...Lightwing...what about them??

*His eyes open wide and he cuddles her close*  Hes dead... but how? .... He was an Alicorn and.... oh god....  *He starts to sob and yelps feeling the pain in his wing again, he felt like screaming and lashing out in anger, but at the same time he felt a wave of despair crash over him... thoughts of his death at the paws of the creature flooded his mind... images of how Callette would react hearing of his demise*  NO!!!!!!!!   *He thumped at a nearby tree as his emotions got the better of him, sending splinters and bark flying in all directions*  NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!! *Stops thumping the tree after a few seconds and slumps to the floor, completely breaking down for the first time, burying his head between his hooves and crying*

Seth came up from his feast, seeing Volt hobbling away. "You know what, I like how you ask. You are a really nice pony." He walked over to the pony, giving him a nice pat on the back. Then, with no warning, he knocked over the wounded pony. He got over the pony, gripping one of his legs, and snapping it at the knee joint. With a solid crack, the led was broken.

 

"The thing is, I'm not nice." He then walked in the opposite direction of where bliss and Sky ran. for a couple yards until he was hidden by the tree cover. The plan was for him to wait until Bliss and Sky came for their wounded friend. Now he just needed to wait.

his scream ecoed trough all the forest for a lon moment, he kept screaming and screaming, rolling on the snow holding his legs, his face contorced into pain, his eyes shut and crying like a filly, he couldn't hear of feel anything.. just pain, pain and only pain

*They could hears from cries even through the trees...but his emotions hit her harder then a boulder falling off a mountain* Gods... Skylar listen to Volt! *Coughs and staggers to her bloody legs, standing wobbly* I...I can't take it...He's suffering out there...and...I left him there...I CANT DO THAT...A *sobs at accepting her title suddenly* A princess...DOES NOT abondon...*coughs* her people! *She nuzzled the sobbing Skylar knowing he was too weak to accompany her* I'll... I'll find a way to go get Volt... I'll bring him back here...wait...for me.

 

*She turned around, her wings still too numb to be used and began the hardy climb up the ravine, out of the creek. She took one last look at her brother, his eyes pleading at her not to go...Gave him a sobbing, but sweet smile...and limply cantered back towards Volt's screaming*

*For what seemed like an hour she weakly cantered out towards where she left the others...Blood poured from her knees and neck as she struggled. Every now and then she tripped over a root or stump...a rock, falling onto her side...getting covered in mud. But she was determined...she knew she had to try...if she failed...she knew she'd die...trying..

 

Finally after several falls and covered in mud on her sides...she came to the clearing...and witnessed a horrfying sight... The remains of Night Wolfe...his blood still stunk in the air...then she saw Volt... Who seemed to have tried to limp away...but from the patterns of the paw prings...Seth...must have broken him...and left him for dead*

 

VOLT! VOLT!!! *she cried out and limply cantered to his side, slipping on some thin ice and slid into him, her knees bloodied up the shide of his belly* Oh gods...Volt VOLT, listen to me! I'm here... i can help you...Can you walk...? I'll...I'll carry you on my back! *The winds picked up again as she patted the blue pegasus's head, never knowing she was being watched*

What...? *She put her large ear over his head, covering it entirely* I can't understand you... the wind and... your so weak...Oh gods Volt...just hang on!!! *Shivers and coughs, growing weaker as her own blood dripped from her neck and knees. She pushed her head to get under his stomach, hoping to slide him on to her back...* Ouch...gah...*shoves* so heavy...ow my knees...*she struggled to push harder, just getting her nose under his stomach*

Seth walked out from the cover and looked at the two, shaking his head. "I truthfully expected better of you. It was obviously a trap. Now, I must say one thing, Volt, nice job on the 'bate' role. You played it very well." He said. "As for you, Bliss, I think it's well overdue for me to get my treat. Truthfully, it isn't that bad. Just a quick prick and I got my blood, and you have the option of being a vamp. Ya, I have the choice to make my victims- sorry, downers,  a vampire. So, what do you say?"

 

He placed a paw on the alicors ear, giving it a light rub.

*If she weren't already white...she'd be whiter then the snow around her...her pupils shrunk back into her eyes...tremmbling beyond her control...*

 

SSS-Seth...*she turned her head seeing the wolf smiling down on her*

 

*She turned to face him and attempted to back away only to trip over Volt's body in the process* No...no no...*she cried and pleaded* Stay away from me...please...*her back legs kicked in the air as she struggled to push away, only to push herself up against a tree* W-why are you doing this..? I didn't do anything to you!... *coughs as more blood spilled out of her neck. She blinked in shock realizing how much blood came  out and attempted to cover it with one of her hooves, trying to stop it* Llleave Volt out of this...He's...he's helpless..! *sobs*

 

*She looked into the vamp werewolf's eyes...green and glowing next to the white background...his fangs at the ready* ...I don't want to be a vampire!... I have a husband...he'd be devestated! My brother Skylar!...My friends... *cries*

Seth cringed at the pain Bliss was having. For the oddest of reasons, he didn't want to hurt her.

 

"Well, I got you all the way here. Plus you are just tempting me with that gash on your neck. Let me just clean that up for you..." Seth said before lunging for the wound on Bliss's neck. He didn't use his fangs, Seth just lapped up the blood on the surface. It tasted better than even he could imagine. If liquid gold had a taste, it wouldn't be anywhere close to what he was tasting now.

*She screamed in a high pitch as the wolf had his way. Her back and front hooves flaired and kicked at his stomach, but she was so weak it hardly phased him* NOOOOOOO!!!!!! STOP IT...PLEASE!!! *coughs harder, feeling weaker and weaker by the second...She was suffering from a fever as well as the blood loss, her immune system dropping*

 

I DON"T WANT TO DIE!!! *She screamed into his ear as she cringed with each rough lap of his licking tongue. Her eyes were going fuzzy and the sky seemed to circle as her legs dropped, seeming to give up...Then she attempted to focus on Volt...seeing his face covered with horror.."I...I can't...I can't die like this...I can't fail Volt...or Skylar...or Icarus...LightWing...my husband...Celestia and Luna what the hay do I do...?" She then darted her eyes onto Seth's...seeing a flicker of sympanthy within them before they were covered by joy of what he was doing...It filled her with fear...and a hidden rage...and a strong will for survival*

 

I...will not...let you...DO THIS... *her horn suddenly responded her needs...and in a brief spark of rainbow magic...it burst forth a white light, causing a sheild to throw forward, throwing Seth off her entirely and proceeded to fling him several feet away from her...then the horn suddenly stopped... It wasn't much...but it was enough to spare her a few more seconds of life*

 

*She stood on her feet shaking and weak...ready to collapse any second* I'm...ready...to fight you... *she snorted and gasped before dropping to her side once again*

Seth was flung against a tree, nearly cracking the aged pine. As his head clouded, his mind buzzed. The taste of the rich blood had made his somewhat... drunk. The warm buttery sweet taste was exactly what he needed. It was so strong that it even satisfied Lust's influence over Seth to the point of releasing him. As his head cleared, Seth began to see life in his judgment, not tainted by Lust. After shaking his head, he noticed both Bliss and Volt lying on the ground, both is severe pain. He ran over to them, knowing exactly what caused this. Like Lust had said, he was a be to watch... and control every action that happened.

 

He began to cry as the events that happened dawned on him. Then he looked over to the bloodbath that was Night.

 

"What...the...hell have I done..." He muttered. He was now shedding countless gallons of water. He looked from Bliss, to Volt, then to Night. There was no way he could justify this in his mind. "I... Killed... Night... Oh god..."

Volt's leg were slowly repairing, but most of the cuts on his skin didn't close, clear sign that the virus effect was almost over

Volt was still very very weak, in his mind just fog.. in his eyes just sturm, in his hearth just lack of hope for himself, in his hooves the willing to fight, in his soul the willing to save Bliss, but all of his body was helpless, worthless

Volt couldn't understand what were going on.. he just saw a rainbow..

he then saw Seth approaching, he didn't know that he was free, Volt tried to drag himself in front of Bliss, the virus giving him the last resource of energy

*He gallops as fast as he can, feeling the terror coming from Lightning Bliss knowing she was in mortal danger, he sobbed and battled through the pain. Cursing and yelping as he scrapes his injured wing against a tree he skids to a halt just some twenty feet where the scene is unfolding, he watches the events unfold wide eyed, preparing himself to intervene* 

 

*As Bliss falls to the ground he watches the wolf beginning to approach again, seeing her wounded and in danger threw him into a protective rage. Snorting and snarling he charged out into the clearing with new found energy surging through him, he yelled*  YOU BASTARD STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!!!!  *The sky begins to darken as his rage and energy builds, he crashes into the side of the wolf head first sending him skidding across the snow, without a second hesitation he lashes out with his electrified tail, missing by inches instead scoring a deep gouge out of a nearby oak tree causing splinters to explode everywhere*  

 

*The sky continues to darken as Lightning flashes over head, he turns to look at Bliss and volt, blue vapor gently streams from his eyes as the energy inside him continues to build, gives a slight grin as she nods up to him but the tears streaming down his face betray his true feelings*  What kind of brother would leave the sister he loves so dearly? *Playfully swishes his tail at her and sighs heavily as he turns back to face the wolf, knowing that it was more than likely he was going to lose, but he could never live with himself just letting the creature have it's way with his sister and friends. Rearing up he stamps his hooves down in the snow, Lightning crackles again overhead and he snarls*  Lets finish this Seth.   :okiedokielokie:

Seth was flung across the tundra floor. Normally, he would get back up and fight, but after seeing what he did, his spirit was broken. He just stayed on the ground, whimpering. When the tree exploded next to him, he flinched as the shock wave hit his body.

 

"Please... I... I..." He pleaded, not truly sure what to do. He was in control of himself when he attacked everyone this time. He was just weak-minded.  He could have been stronger and resisted. He just was weak, and they payed for it. They were suffering for his errors, and Seth couldn't do a thing.

 

He looked over to Skylar, who was preparing to end him.

"I don't...I don't want to fight any more!" He yelled through tears. "Look at what I've done. I killed Night, tortured Volt, and nearly caused the end of your sister!" He said.

*She lifted her head out of the cold snow...blood still dripping from her neck and knees, unable to do more then lift her head. She could see the scene unfold as Skylar placed himself between her and Seth... She dragged herself by one hoof painfully to Volt, placing herself on top of him*

 

Volt...I'm sorry...I'm not strong enough... I tried to save you...but I can't even...save myself...and now Skylar is...*she sobbed into his neck*

 

*Suddenly she sensed it... a break in the evil. Seth wasn't being controlled by the evil vamperic force that invaded his soul. She could sense new emotions now...one of terror, sadness...and mostly despair...*

 

Sky-lar...*she whimpered as loud as she could* Seth...he's...he's back...to normal...!!! The evil...lost control...for now! I can...sense it! Seth's...emotions!

*He snarls as he walks towards the downed wolf, narrowing his eyes, speaking with a mixture of anger and fear, the clouds continue to boom with thunder and Lightning as he steps forward*  Thats exactly why we have to put an end to it, regardless of whether it was you or the 'other side' that caused all this trouble.  You killed a pony, severely injured volt and my sister along with trying to kill me!!  *Takes a few more steps forward and snorts*  How long until you change back, this is probably just another trick!  *Cracks his tail like a whip sending sparks flying everywhere*  

 

*Puts a hoof on the wolfs chest and presses down, gritting his teeth trying to fight off the own terrible pain from his shattered right wing, he turns to Bliss and speaks in a hoarse voice*  We have to end it now..... *Turns and looks down at the wolf whimpering beneath him, raises a hoof to stamp down on his face but stops half way, his eyes connecting with the wolves as he sees a tear trickle down his fur, his expression more that of a puppy than a wolf. He sighs and hangs his head down in shame as the rage begins to leave him, whimpers a little as the anger is replaced by pain, he staggers a little but manages to stay upright still pinning the wolf down*

As the thunder boomed around Seth, he stared into the hatred that was Skylar. The pony's paw was pressing down on the old wound Night left him, causing him to flinch in pain. It was nowhere near what the others were probably feeling, but it was still significant. When Skylar brought up his hoof over the wolf's face, Seth looked away, waiting for the blow. After a bit of delay, he looked back at the stallion, seeing the he had backed down from killing him. Seth was still pinned, but Skylar was looked less raged. He looked at the stallion, who was now in a state of sadness. After a second, he looked to Bliss and Volt.

 

"We need to get them to safety..." He said, attempting to help. "...Then need medical attention. I... I...don't want them to die..."

*Attempting to stand...she took two steps towards them before collapsing back into the snow* Gah...clumsy...oomph...*tries to get up again but falls, this time pain shot through her knees and wings* AHHH *pants..* ok...I'm not fine...*looks up to Seth and Skylar* ...If Seth is in coon-trol...we need to get back to the cabin...maybe...supplies there and...Icarus might have returned back...*sees the wolf's eyes for a split second, his tongue hanging out in his panting. Her fur stood up on her neck and immedaitly shielded her neck from his sight*
